This fit like a glove. It had the right amount of interest for on stage. Was very comfortable and allowed me to breathe. It's also just a beautiful dress.

Loved the dress! I had to wear a "modest" lomg navy dress for an orthodox wedding, and was sceptical that I would find someting. I wore the dress without the ribbon and found it more flattering that way (i didnt have time to iron the ribbon). I had to keep my heels on the whole time because it was pretty lomg (Im 5"6) but it made my legs look sup long. Oversll loved it!

The dress fit perfectly. It was form fitting yet forgiving with the elasticity of the material. The lace detailing made for an eye catching addition to the simple silhouette design. I was thankful that at 5' 3" I only had to wear 3 inch heels to have the dress' hem just touch the floor. It was comfortable all night as I ate dinner and danced the night away. I received many compliments from men and women of all ages.

This dress was a ton of fun to wear. I used it for my rehearsal dinner and the size I thought would fit (4R) did not work at all! (Tight in the thighs) They overnighted the 6R to me and it was perfect. Great customer service, they save the day!

This is a great dress. Got many "Lady Mary" comments that night. Didn't wrinkle. Was actually quite stretchy and comfortable, which was key because I was wearing it for about 12 hours. I was on the fence about a 6 and getting the regular length, but the 4L ended up working perfectly...so maybe size down? The ribbon belt gets bunched up quite easily, though.

It fit perfectly, I could not have been more pleased. One thing to note is that the silk belt wrap fits into belt holes that are just below the breast area, and I was hoping that it would go around my waist more. Other than that, it was beautiful and I loved it.

I chose to wear the dress without the belt and it looked great; it was very comfortable. I felt very elegant in the dress. I am already planning to order another one for a corporate event.

The dresses came earlier than expected! Although, because I love in a secure apt building, I DID have to sign for the package. But other than that the whole delivery and packaging was great! The dresses both had a few snags in the lace- the 10 near the zipper, the 8 on the sleeve. The 10 ( which I was afraid would be snug) was actually a little big in the stomach. So I went with the 8. It shows the curves in my hips ( which are kind of hard to hide anyway!) but it isn't clingy at all. Very simple accessories as the lace I the neck is high and I didn't want to risk snagging it with big jewelry. Lots of compliments on the color!

It photographs a bit better than it looks in real life. While I did like it, the stitching is a bit obvious and looks sort of messy up close. I loved the fit and think it was flattering.

This dress is a great option if you're in need of a more conservative look. The detailed lace and floral embroidery are really pretty in person and the silk belt cinches at your waist to give the dress.

The gown is stunning in person, but prettier off the hanger than on me. It runs true to size, but has NO structure. I am a live event artist which means I paint weddings as they progress. I needed this gown for a photo shoot we were doing for a magazine with a Downton Abbey feel, and although the gown was the right color, style, and beautiful, I was very disappointed in how it did not give me the shape I was looking for. I think it cut me off too much with the belt, and without the belt it still looked wrong. Next time I will get a more structured gown.

Fit was great, but I did order a size smaller, according to the other comments. The photo doesn't do the lace detail justice! Got lots of compliments. Paired it with a smaller but sparkly necklace.

I rented this to wear to a black tie event at a museum where I work. Since I would be working at the event, I needed to look professional and be comfortable moving around, while still feel as elegant and sophisticated as our guests. This dress did the trick! I am typically a 6 or 8 size dress but went with the 4R since it was the only size available at the time. It was more fitted on me than the dress is on the model, but still flattering, elegant, and comfortable. A 6R would have given me the looser look she is wearing, especially in the hips, but the 4R was fine and the length was perfect!

I rented this for a black tie event. It was perfect in every way. It is extremely well made, the colors are rich, the lace isn't scratchy, It fit perfectly - shoulders, bust, waist, hips and best of all, length. I have been hesitant renting anything long from RTR because it would be a joke for me to wear 5-6" heels for a dress to hit the right place. I wore 3-1/2" heels and it hit the floor just right.The ribbon belt added the illusion of a waist without cinching in the basically shift-like shape that works best on me. It was comfortable sitting, eating and dancing. I hope to rent this again.

This dress was forgiving and flattering . I found it to be slimming without being too body-skimming. It was very comfortable.

I usually wear a 10, but the 8 fit better.

A bit short. I'm 5'6" and usually between a 4 and 6. I wore the 6 as the 4 was too tight. The 6 was still too short but I just wore low heels. Received compliments all night!

This dress is really beautiful and I love the flattering sleeves and embroidery. However, the dress seemed less formal than other gowns, and it runs really really short! I am 5'5" and even with flats the dress didn't brush the ground. Extra length, nice jewelry, and some heels would have dressed it up. The sash was also missing, which RTR said they would fix before future rentals. I ended up going with my backup dress. If I were to rent again, I'd pair it with nice flat sandals and casual styling for a wedding, not for the formal ball I was attending.

I did not end up wearing the belt, in my opinion it looked better without it. I will post a picture after I receive them from the photographer. Overall the dress was nice and was used from on Orthodox Jewish wedding and I was one of the bridesmaids and I needed to cover up more than usual. So I thought this was a safe bet. The lace added a chic look.

I really liked this dress- the fit was very comfortable and I felt it was elegant for black tie wedding. Im renting it again for another event for sure. I only give it 4 stars bc it didnt come with the belt and I had to buy ribbon at the last minute (you could wear it without the belt but its not as flattering).

The dress is a stretch lace and is a gorgeous shape. Because of the stretch lace, you absolutely must have a flat stomach to make this dress work.

Riding the line between Gatsby-era sass and modern matronly. This dress was great for a formal work event that was on the conservative side. Lots of great feminine details like the lace and waist ribbon. It is MUCH nicer in person, it doesn't photograph all that well. Perhaps better for a daytime or early evening garden type thing. Would happily -- and likely will-- rent again.

It runs smaller, so I ended up using the bigger size.

The ribbon belt was not included otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating. Lots of compliments and it was simply elegant. Glad I got the 4L instead of the 4R. I'm 5'7" 125. It was a perfect length with my heels.
