I ordered an 8 and no backup sizes were available. I would have sized up based on other reviews, but I really could have worn a 6. It was roomy in the waist- not overly so or very noticeably. The dress was stunning. Fun and flirty and really well made.

I loved this dress! The fit was true to size but honestly I could have gone another size down and still be fine. My only complaint is that I wish the shoulder straps would stay down. The elastic kept riding back up which was annoying at times.

I loved this dress, but there really is no stretch, so I'm glad I ordered a size up!

I use RTR alot for wedding dresses and this is by far my favorite. If you feel like you want something simple yet unique, this is the dress. While I was at the church, I pulled the off the shoulder to cap over my shoulders and pulled down like shown in the picture afterwards. My problem area is my arms and my middle. the ruffling drew attention to the top of the dress, covering my arms but exposing my shoulders where I don't mind people staring. I also have longer legs and this dress was not too short at all. Definitely would recommend this!

I had originally rented this as a backup but ended up wearing it instead of the other one. The fit was extremely comfortable but still very sexy and beautiful. I love the detail and received many compliments. I wore it to my fiance's birthday dinner and he was not disappointed!

I loved the look and fit. My only complaint is that the inner slip ran up as I walked so I had to keep pulling it down.

Sorry I didn't take a full body shot... I forgot. Basically I was trying to hide my post baby belly bulge and my not so sexy arms. This dress was made it all possible. The 6 fit but I ended up wearing the 8 because it was more comfortable. It was a little big in the bust line (I am a 36C/B) but not noticeable due to the lace. If you want a dress that is sassy and comfortable this is perfect!

Wore this to a Rodeo Gala and it was perfect. I added a red flower sass it up a little. Got tons of compliments and looked great with cowboy boots. Fabric has no stretch and fit like a glove. Be sure to use double sided tape to keep in place for the off the shoulder look. Awesome!

Wore this for Thanksgiving and it was perfect. There are little details to this dress that make it so nice, and I love the off the shoulders look (it can also be worn on the shoulders as well). Overall, the dress really looked great and I would rent it again!

I rented a size 10 with a backup size 12 since other reviewers said the dress didn't have any stretch. When I got the dresses, I found the 10 to be too large in the waist/hip area and a belt just made the dress look bunched up. I have lost about 18 lbs in the past 6 months and am in-between sizes. I called RTR the Friday evening before my Saturday event and they were able to overnight a size 8 to me which arrived before 12 noon and fit PERFECTLY! My husband loved this dress as much as I did and even asked if I could buy it or at least rent it again :-).

I rented this after I had already rented the white version for my wedding rehearsal dinner. Since I had already worn it in a different color I knew it would fit. I recieved tons of compliments from girls- but the best was all of the looks my husband gave me. A perfect dress for a dressy summer wedding. Love. I forgot to take a pic in the black!

I needed to find a dress for a funeral...it had to be "special" because it was for my father-in-law. I simply didn't have time to go to the mall to find the perfect dress. This was my first time using RTR. Everything went smoothly. No issues at all. The dress was shipped exactly when they said it would. I ordered a size 4 and 6. I first tried the 4 on. (which I normally wear) It fit, however I decided to wear the 6 because I felt I needed just alittle more room to move. This dress does not give any sort of stretch so I would recommend ordering your normal size and one size larger. Just in case.You will definately turn heads in the room with this dress:)

I chose "True to Size" because that's mostly true. Whatever size you normally wear, you will probably wear in this dress. (If you're bootylicious like me, DON'T go smaller.. I also had a size 2 shipped and that was laughable! lol) I have an athletic shape and the bottom was just a bit snug.. It has ZERO stretch. However, the top was very roomy/strechy. I'm a 34D and had plenty room in the bust area without looking slouchy. I think this dress would be perfect for someone who has that "inverted triangle" shape. (Broad shoulders and/or a full bust and small hips and thighs.) Even if you have a smaller bust I think it would be fine up top. The off the shoulder look is so sexy, but classy!

I wore this fabulous dress to a cowboy-themed event and it was perfect. It was definitely perfect for the occasion. I would highly recommend this dress. I rented it in black and white and had trouble deciding which to wear! The details on the dress such as the lace were beautiful. I would highly recommend it!

Loved this dress....lightweight, super comfy material perfect for a hot, humid August wedding. I felt like it was pretty true to size, if you want it a tiny bit longer or loser in the middle go up 1 size. Definitely recommend!

I rented this dress for date night. I loved how unique it is, and it could be warn for winter or summer. The off-the-shoulder style is sexy, but the lacy part kind of made it "eh." It's a bit baggy up top and more snug in the bottom, so I'd skip if you're a pear shape or want something to show off the girls.

Definitely would wear this dress again!

i usually wear a size 6/8 but they were out so i ordered the 6 great dress, the 6 was a little snug in the rear for me. it was fine with spanx, but i have a larger athletic back side

Wore this dress the night i got married (civil wedding) to a romantic restaurant alone with my husband and wore my hair up. Got lots of compliments and the dress was perfect. I wanted something that was going to hide my post baby rolls and this dress was perfect since it doesn't stretch or sit too tight against the body. Since I'm just a little overweight i ordered a size up from my usual 4 because of what other reviewers were saying and it fit perfectly..

It runs very small on top but the lace and quality of the dress is great! The neckline can be worn off the shoulder or up. Its a great dress!

I usually wear a 2-4, but they only had a 2 and a 6, I ended up wearing the 6 and it was a little baggy around my waist, but tight around my butt! Overall, great dress!

I normally wear a size 6 bit im 5 months pregnant and the 8 fit great! I would have liked it a little shorter if i weren't pregnant lol but it still looked good. There is no stretch or give in this dress... Except in the shoulders of course.

This dress was great. I paired it with pearls and had so many compliments. The size 2 fit perfectly. The 0 wasn't available for rental so I just ordered the 2 with fingers crossed! This was my first RTR experience and I'm a changed woman! Hope you love this dress as much as I did. I'm sad to send it back!

The size 6 fit great...the 8 was way too big. I am typically a 4 to 6. This is a great dress for busty girls. The lace is gorgeous and the fabric is beautifu. It is true, there is not much "give" to the dress. That is what makes it flattering, but probably not great for dancing. I would definitely rent again and will rent it in white.

I loved this dress. I wore it to my friends wedding which had a slightly western theme, and it was perfect. The dress was snug (but true to size I think) and very flattering on my curves. I loved the sleeves and the lace detail. It was an extremely pretty dress with a touch of sass from the off the shoulder. I would rent it again.

It just arrived today as the backup to the other dress I chose and it's hard to pick which one to wear! I love this dress. It's a bit long but when I'm 9 inches shorter than the model, it's no wonder. But it's not too long at all. Don't know which yet I'll go with but this is an awesome dress.

The dress was in perfect condition and I found it to be true to size. It didn't hug my body too tightly and had plenty of room in the bust which can sometimes be an issue for me. I was a little nervous that the off-the-shoulder neckline would be awkward, but it turned out to be very comfortable and didn't fall down or ride up. I also think it made the dress more unique. The lace was very pretty. I would definitely recommend this dress for a wedding or any semi-formal occasion!

I was required to wear black as a personal attendant at a friends wedding; I usually choose color and uniqueness over the standard LBD, but this dress was unforgettable. I am a curvy, short hourglass shape and I felt like this dress was made for me. I usually wear a 4-6; I originally got this as the back up dress in a 4 which fit, just a little snug around my behind and hips, but nothing that was too uncomfortable or inappropriate; just understand that this dress has absolutely zero stretch so crazy dance moves were out of the question. At 5' 3" the length of the skirt hit about an inch above the knee, great length as it balanced out the sexy snug fit with enough fabric to make it classy and not skanky. I am busty and get nervous about having to wear a strapless bra as it usually make the girls look flat or saggy, but the lace overlay across the shoulders and chest is enough fabric to disguise whatever flaws are going on underneath without adding any bulky volume, laying nicely over the bust. Overall I was very impressed, got a ton of compliments, felt totally unique and beautiful. I would recommend ordering up a size due to the the fact that this fabric has no stretch whatsoever and could be pose a challenge just getting it on if not careful.

I ordered this dress for a friend's wedding. Since I was in the wedding as a lector of the Scripture, I didn't want to have something super short or tight. I ordered an 8, and had to rush order a 6 because I felt like the 8 sagged in the chest and would look better in a smaller size. This dress has no stretch to it so there is 'built in hips' so to speak. If you order too large you will look 'hippier' than desired. Overall the smaller size 6 was perfect length, fit, and style for the occasion. The bit of lace gave it a delicate feel, while i was still able to feel sexy in a little black dress.

This dress is really cute the lace detail is really pretty. Although I could have worn the 6, I usually wear a 4, the top gives you plenty of room without looking big in either size but the skirt runs tight and to be comfortable I would go a size up. So I chose the 8 because I was going to do a lot of walking.

This dress was so flattering. I ordered a 12, but could have definitely worn a 10. It was really easy to wear and comfortable. 4 stars because it looked a little worn out, but nothing major.

I wore this for my Halloween costume. The 6 fit but if I went to sit down it was a little tight so I went with the 8.
