This dress is gorgeous. The only thing I did not like about it were the straps, that felt a bit like they were digging in a bit, and since they were made of thin ribbon were a little itchy. Otherwise, I loved the way the dress never really looked the same from different angles, or depending on how I moved. It provided great accent to my waist.

I agree with previous reviewer that the top part of the dress runs too large, the see through straps were drooping off my shoulders, while the bottom of the dress would not be flattering if you have hips. The pleats sit very stiff due to the fabric thickness and the bottom hemline is narrower than at the hips. So the fit at the bottom is a bit of an inverted bell, not something you can tell from the pictures.

LOVED this dress! I wore it to a friend's wedding and received many compliments. It was comfortable and gorgeous -- the sheer straps are elegant and feminine. Definitely dressy and long enough (came right above my knees) for a formal event. The bust area is slightly larger that I had expected, but it was fine with a strapless bra; I wore a size 4 and am a B/C cup. I would have worn the size 2 if I had ordered it (I ordered a size 4 and 6). I am 5'5" and 127 lbs. To give you a sense of the dress, the fabric is thick and made me feel more comfortable than, say, a silk, sheer, or clingy dress. I wish I owned this dress!!

This dress has no give, there is no slit in the back so it makes climbing stairs a little tough. I'm between a 6 and 8 and had to wear the 8.

Everything about this dress is luxurious. The color, the heaviness of the fabric and the intricate details. Both sizes I ordered were too small only around the bust. But much too small. Must have smaller bust and smaller length of torso so folds at hips drape properly. I wore a different dress, but was very sad not to take this one out.

The dress is very pretty, but I found the fabric to be a little too thick for my liking. I am 2 or 4 normally and the 4 was too big all around. The 2 was unavailable. With a proper fit perhaps I would feel differently about the fabric.
