This dress is simply beautiful. The pleats are gorgeous and arrived well ironed. The blue is stunning - it is SO bright, it is actually brighter than my sister's royal blue dress you can see in our photo together! The straps are a tad bit long, but I was able to clip them back. The dress is a bit tight in the bust, which is why I wore the backup size 6 instead of the 4. The material is thick, somewhat like a scuba suit as someone else said, but this didn't bother me. It is a fun dress, easy to dance in, elegant and classy. I would buy this dress! It is beautiful. Got lots of compliments. I'm 5'6", 145 lbs athletic build, 36D. The size 6 was perfect for me. Size 4 was too tight, although I usually wear a 4.

This dress was perfect for a fancy brunch with my sisters. I rented a size 2 and 4 and I wore the 2. I have a smaller bust so not wearing a bra wasn't an issue. If you need to wear a bra this dress may not be for you. The material was thicker and wonderfully made. The blue is brilliant in person. Would highly recommend this dress!

This dress is absolutely beautiful and I felt amazing in it! The fabric is heavy but not uncomfortable. Very structured which I loved. The color is bright and vibrant exactly as pictured. I was able to size down to an 8 and it fit like a glove. The straps are a little long especially if you are on the short side. I criss crossed them in the back as others suggested and that helped, I still should have pinned them as I had to adjust several times through the night. That did not take anything away from the dress overall though. Will definitely rent again!

I wore this for my graduation. It turned out so cute! I ordered 4 & 6 and didn’t even try the 6. The 4 fit perfect. For reference I’m 5’5, 130#, 32B. As others have said, the straps are super long...even if you cross it in the front and back. I ended up twisting the back of mine and then crossing it. I don’t think that looked quite as good as the simple cross, but it gave me more security. Added bonus: didn’t have to wear a bra :)

Wore this dress to a sorority formal dance and it was the perfect dress to dance in! A little confusing to get into, but sat just right on my shoulders when I got it on! I wore it with a sticky bra and it was solid all night long. I normally hate when I can't wear a bra with a dress, but this one felt so secure and not saggy at all! Definitely complimentary for body types with wider chests/shoulders and smaller busts!

The fit was great, although I am smaller busted (34B) and it was a little roomier than I would have preferred. The material was thick, but not too hot. Loved the neck line! I wore it without a bra too.

Loved the color of this dress because it was so striking in person. The material was thick enough that it had a good structure but not so thick that I️ was hot at this outdoor wedding. The main issue for me with this dress was in the chest area because in the front it felt like I️ was going to pop out of the sides because of how far they cut in on my chest and then it was pretty difficult to zip over my rib cage despite normally wearing a 2. So I️ would say if you have bigger boobs just be aware of that because I️ was able to make it work but it made me a little nervous

This dress has very thick material, but it's a nice material. The fit is perfect and I highly recommend this dress to rent! Rented a size 2 and 4. I wore the size 2, being the 4 felt way too big and the 2 was snug, yet comfortable.

I loved this dress! I loved the color, the neckline, and the way the material flowed. It was definitely made of a thick, quality material. I'm pretty petite and have a small bust (0/00, 32A), so I was surprised how tight it was around my chest. The material isn't stretchy, so if you're questioning what size to get, go up a size.

The fit was true to size, fabric was thick and perfect for a chilly September wedding, I was able to dance and move around comfortably. The only negative was that the straps were pretty long so to fix that issue I cross crossed them in the front as well as the back and it looked better that way in my opinion. Overall perfect dress and would definitely rent again!

I found that it fits true to size, although the straps were too long so I did have to safety pin them to make them shorter. This dress is great for pear-shapes because the skirt of the dress is very forgiving. I did not wear a bra (used use a little body tape to make sure the dress stayed in place) but if you are large-chested I would recommend sizing up because the top of the dress is very form fitting. Overall, it was a good choice. I would rent it again.

This fabric is pretty thick and super structured so if you want something light and flowy, this isn't it. I typically wear at 12 but since this only runs up to 10, I was able to zip it up (a bit snug). Because its fit and flare, I didn't have any issue with it fitting in my hips. No need for a bra with this thick fabric. Would definitely recommend this for a special occasion.

I ordered this as my back up dress but ended up wearing it. It was so elegant and was made of good quality material. The only downside was that the straps were very long. I ended up pinning it with safety pins so it all worked out in the end. It was a tad bit snug but aside from that it was perfect. I received tons of compliments during and after the wedding! This was a great first experience renting from the runway!

This dress is so cute! The color looks great on everyone! A couple issues however. I'm not very big on top, 34B, and didn't wear a bra, so it's possible to have a slip if your dancing. And you definitely need someone to help you with the straps. However, I will be renting it again! The fit is so flattering and it was comfortable other than the bra issue.

I rented this dress for a spring wedding. I had originally rented an 8 and 10 and when I saw that the straps were quite long (make sure you wear them criss-crossed), I contacted the RTR customer service who suggested sizing down. I did that and ended up wearing the 6. It fit great. I wore a backless sticky bra and was good all day! The top is fitted, so that helped to keep everything still while I was on the dance floor, too. The dress was casual enough for a daytime, outdoor ceremony, but also dressy enough for the party. The material is heavy and elegant - I received compliments all day long! I have bigger hips and was still able to size down due to the full skirt. I would recommend that instead of sizing up where you may be inadvertently showing more side boob than you might want! Lastly, I wore the Tova Blue Mohawk earrings which seem like they were made for this dress. Compliments on those as well. I can always count on RTR to make me look like a million bucks!

Rented this for a formal party for my 15 year old, size 2, 5'6" daughter. The dress was lovely on her. We considered ordering down to a size 2, but didn't think the bust would fit in a 2. This 4 was snug in the chest, but she was comfortable enough to dance the night away. Fun dress with a stunning crisscrossing back. Full, flirty skirt too! Loved it and would certainly recommend it for a fun event!

I loved the fit and the color of this dress! I felt pretty and comfortable, and it was easy to dance in! The fit was true to size, with the exception of the straps which were too long and would have set the dress under my breasts if I'd kept them that way. Instead, I clipped the straps around my neck and it actually made the dress look even better in my opinion. I'd definitely recommend this dress for a party or formal affair!

Beautiful blue, thick material. Wore it to a wedding in Hawaii and was toasty. It's a difficult fitting dress because it's tight around the ribcage (and I'm only 32B) but the straps are really long. I had to do a twist in the back to make it fit. Not ideal, but it worked well enough for the night.

I got so many complements in this dress. The top runs really small so I ended up going with the smaller size. The bottom is really flowy and makes you look larger thank you actually are sometimes.

This dress is awesome. Very comfortable and the color is really beautiful (the picture doesnt do it justice). I was able to wear a bra which was was plus. Only thing that would makes this dress perfect is pockets. Over all though i loved it and would def rent again.

I am usually a size 4 and likely, due to being smaller on top, could've done a 2. Other reviewers commented on the length of the straps and I would agree they are a bit long (especially with little bust to help fill it out). I think it would've fit solidly if the straps were a little shorter. Overall, aside from it coming down a bit much in the front on the sides for my taste it was a nice dress. I loved the bright blue color and the thicker fabric. Not my favorite rental but cute!

It fit really welll. The only negative was that i had to keep pulling up the front. The material that it was made out of was strong so I could dance without worrying about it flying up. Loved it!!

I was initially attracted to this dress because of how different the front is and the beautiful royal blue color. I am small chested (32B), but not being able to wear a bra really made the front look odd. I loved the length and the fullness of the skirt, but the front of the dress made me tug at the dress all night.

The color is great and the dress material is very durable. The straps are long and the skirt was very stiff in the bubble shape but it was still flattering. I had a great first experience with RTR for my homecoming and I will definitely use it again for all of my future special occasions! Such a great deal!

I ordered a different dress originally, and the color was so faded and dull, I decided it was worth it to pay the overnight shipping for something better. They didn't have my backup size in this dress but luckily the 6 worked out. As everyone else noted, the straps are really long but other than that the color matched the stock photos perfectly and I got compliments all night long. Wish I would have gone with this originally since it was half of the price of my original rental.
