Beautiful fit for pears. 4 stars because it is just polyester and not lined, and you can see leg imperfections. The regular lenght with heels worked fine. I am 5'3 with a small bony chest and the top part was big (this always happens to me), but I twisted the straps and made it work.

I rented this exact dress before in black and hated it, but getting it in RED gave me a different feeling. It matched well with my skin tone, caramel, and was perfect length for my height. I am 5'2 and 148lbs, it did not touch the floor. It hugged my body from the waist down. I had to pull the straps in the back closer with fashion tape because I am small in the bust area, 36b. But over all it was a PERFECT fit.

Wore this for a formal wedding. Defintiely used a bit of fashion tape to keep the sides in place in the front. I wore a sticky backless bra. Perfect height with 2-3" heels

I had to tape the side to my body. Like a lot of fashion tape to make it stay put, because you can totally flash people with this dress, the waist fit was perfect, a little long so I had to wear platform heeled sandals, I'm 5'2. There's no slit also, so you literally have no room to open your legs to much to walk, had to be raising it from the from to move. I still managed to be graceful and took the dress with its pros and cons.

I loved this dress!! The color was beautiful - I was getting compliments all night. As a short woman, I was worried this dress would be too long, but with my 3" heels, it was perfect! The only downfall of the dress was the top area. I don't have a big chest, so I wasn't worried about side boob, but it was a little loose. A little fashion tape would go a long way. All in all though, I loved it!

Thought regular would be too long for me, since I'm 5'3" but it was the perfect length with my heels!

Very comfy, be careful about an accidental slip with your boobs. I used fashion tape and that seemed to work wonders. You're guaranteed a great time in this elegant dress!

This dress was really fun to wear, and the back is stunning! I wore it for a Barrister's Ball, so it saw quite a bit of dancing. The boob coverage seemed sparse at first (moreso than I thought from the photo) so some larger chested folks may have issues. I used a good bit of double sided fashion tape and they didn't budge all night! It was surprisingly stretchy/easy to walk in, although it was a little shorter than I would have liked. It worked fine with ~3 inch heels! Would rent it again.

I'm 5'7, 120 lbs, 32C bust. I rented the 2R and 4R for a Winter Gala. The 2R fit like a glove, however the back slit had been sewn, so walking was extremely awkward. The 4R had the slit open, but was too loose all around. I decided to wear the 2R and just walk around like a penguin. The top cut in around the bust for both sizes, so fashion tape is necessary if you want to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. I was disappointed that the dresses were different - one cut and one sewn, so I don't think I'll be renting this dress again. However, I did receive compliments the entire evening. The open back is beautiful and the color was perfect for a December event.

This dress was very comfortable to wear- it was the slightest bit too large so that might be why it was comfortable. It shows a little side boob, but not an inappropriate amount. Beautiful color, love the open back.

I received so many compliments on this dress! Definitely for the small chested or smaller frame. Although I am small chested, I kept having to readjust while dancing to prevent any side boob. I also should’ve gotten the size 4 as it was baggy above my hips and a little loose in the waist/back area, because it does run true to size. If you aren’t concentrated about the top fitting, I say order your normal size rather than sizing up like the other reviews suggest.

It was extremely long but it fit well everywhere else. Be careful of the bra you wear since it cuts in deep in the bust area and a lot of bras will show.

The dress ran true to size. I loved how it looked, but I was feeling a little uncomfortable and worried about the "side boob" issue that other reviewers had mentioned. I basically taped it to myself with fashion tape, and as you can see in the action shot above, no nip-slips! Recommend, but have some fashion tape handy!

The 6 was more comfortable but the 4 held me in better, especially in th chest area. Jaw dropping back and stunning color.

I enjoyed wearing this dress! The color was beautiful and the length was perfect. The dress was comfortable with the exception of the sides. They required some tape to avoid a potential malfunction, which kept me from absolutely loving this dress. If I hadn't been at a family event, I might not have been so nervous about a slip. The dress also didn't fit me exactly right in the midsection area, it hit my hips at a bit of a strange place. The slit in the dress was helpful for walking and not too high where it would become an issue. I wore heels that were a little too high for the dress, if you're 5'6" you probably don't need any heels too tall. I did really like the dress other than those two chief complaints! It made me feel glamorous and chic. I would recommend renting for any formal occasion!

Overall was very pleased with the dress. It did run a tad smaller than a normal 4. Recently I've been between a 4 and a 2, so ordered those two sizes for this dress. The 4 was a little snug around the hips and the neck (since the back straps connect to the neck, it would pull when I sat). It does have a decent amount of side-boob showing, I think it still looked classy being that I have a smaller chest. Color was beautiful.

I felt incredibly beautiful, classy and most importantly comfortable in this dress. The color of this dress was perfect for an early-summer night wedding. I received compliments all night and the dress looked amazing in photos. Only cons to this dress was the way the top part is cut; the sides don't quite cover your entire chest area; there was some side boob action happening so if you're very busty, would opt for a different styled dress. I felt like this dress ran a little on the smaller side as I typically wear size 2R but the 2R was very tight on my stomach area but everywhere else fit fine. Also, the size 2R I received (as my main size) did not have the slit on the back of the dress (without it, it's very difficult to walk/dance/move) and RTR was so great with being willing to send me a new dress the very next day -- that just made my first RTR experience so much better knowing that the RTR customer service truly does what they can to help you ASAP. Thankfully my backup 4R dress fit nicely and I was able to wear that one for the event.

I really needed this in size 0, but it wasn’t available, so I ended up wearing a size 2. The dress looks great standing still, but moving in it was a bit difficult. The side boob spillage was a definite issue, and I have tiny boobs. I was afraid of a nip slip multiple times. I also had an issue with walking in it. The bottom is very tight and narrow, and hard to take steps in or dance in.

I was worried this would be too long since I'm only 5 feet tall, but it was only about a half-inch too long with 4 inch heels, I could have still walked in it fine. The reason I didn't wear it is because the top was an awkward cut (other reviewers are right about making sure everything stays in!) and I was fidgeting with it constantly just standing in front of my mirror - figured it was going to be too much to worry about all night. Otherwise, it's beautiful. I'm usually a 6, but the 4 fit better everywhere besides being snug around my neck. Really wanted to love it!

In my opinion, the dress was just okay. I rented it for a black tie wedding, and I wish I would have gone with something more formal. I love side boob, but the top is a bit of an awkward cut. Speaking of side boob, due to the cut, I would not recommend this for larger chested women. I'm 5'7" and wish it would have been longer--I could have worn flats if I wanted. The material mixed with the lack of liner means you'll want to wear spanx.

Fit great, comfortable throughout shoulders-waist-hips. Secured the crossing back straps with a small, easily concealed safety pin and used fashion tape at the sides to prevent slippage, but not sure if I had to do that last part or was more out of comfort/security. Comfortable for all night. TONS of compliments.

Loved this dress! Perfect for a black tie optional wedding. I generally wear a 2/4 and I wore the 4. Fit - slight stretch, lined, showed no imperfections. I did not wear a bra or any spanx. Length - Im 5'7 and without shoes, this hit the floor. I wore a small heel and I wouldve liked this dress to be a bit longer to cover it but not necessarily a deal breaker for me. Only warning - definitely invest in some GOOD TAPE! I am small chested and didnt know I had side boob until this dress. :) I knew it was cut in from other reviews and had tape on hand but I was afraid of slips all night. I don't think I'd recommend a bigger chested person to wear this. Also, I am currently a breastfeeding-pumping mom so this was perfect for pumping later in the night! haha :) I got so many compliments on this dress!

The dress definitely fit true to size. And although I was a little nervous about the side showing too much, I had no trouble at all with anything. I wore this to an event where my whole family was in attendance, including my kids, and I felt 100% confident in it. If you wear high heels, which I do, its not as long as most full length gowns.

The dress is beautiful and true to size. I'm 5'3" and rented the 6R. I'm a crossfit coach, so I have a wide upper back and chest. I found this dress to be too narrow in the front and a recipe for nip slip despite my 32D bra size. Otherwise, the dress was gorgeous on and fit like a glove!

I originally thought this was a shiny material, not overall cotton. It ended up being OK, because I was nervous with lines showing through. Also, I'm a 34A (depending where you get sized, AKA small chested) and I was worried about side boob, so seriously take that in to consideration. I needed double sided tape and pasties, and was still a little nervous to twist sideways too fast. Otherwise, it was very flattering, I received so many compliments, and I loved it! I would rent it again in the other colors available.

I definitely had a love/hate relationship with this dress. Overall, it was gorgeous and super comfortable. The color was great and I received a ton of compliments. However, the tricky part was definitely the side boob. I wore a sticky bra and spanks to hold everything together. Towards the end of the night, I just put a shawl over it so I could stop worrying about any malfunctions.

Wore this dress to the wedding. My bf - a groomsman - was in a tux so I had to find the appropriate non-black tie yet sufficiently formal dress to match. Luckily, this was spot on. My biggest issue was the length. I wore 5" heels yet the dress was still about an inch and a half too long. I also liked the body fit of the 0R better but the top was precariously small (and I'm not a voluptuous lady). On the 2R, I used several strips of fashion tape to make sure there weren't any surprises on the dance floor. Overall though, I got plenty of compliments and felt very classy in this dress!
