I brought this on vacation and it was a great size for holding the basics as well as extras like a water bottle. I also like that it had the option of both cross body and shoulder straps. I did feel like the one I got was a bit overly used and the location of the cross body on corners made the bag lie a bit weirdly across the body. Overall I did like it for a beach and city vacation.
