The size 8 was too small and didn't zip all the way up, but the 10 was perfect! I was afraid that it was going to be too short but the fullness of the tulle made up for the length. It was the perfect dress for the night! The only downside is that the lining attached to the inner layers of tulle is cream-colored, so if you look too close it looks a little like a flaw. Overall, a fantastic dress!

fit a small frame true to size no complaints

Really tight, almost had to zip but this dress needed to fit snug! Probably runs more on the small size as size 2 usually is what I wear and this was perfect but just barely! I had read the size reviews before helping my size choices. Lots of fun for my birthday, lots of compliments and felt great:)

This dress is beautiful - I received so many compliments! Before ordering, I was a little apprehensive about whether a tulle-skirted dress with a knitted bodice would look okay, but it totally works. I usually wear a 0, but the bust was too tight, so I wore the 2 instead. The length was a bit shorter than I expected, yet it was still appropriate to wear to a formal event. Overall, I felt amazing in this dress - I wish I owned it!

The fitted, lace top perfectly balances the full, tulle skirt for a flirty, feminine edge. Paired with a gold jacquard tuxedo blazer, bright red lips and a bold gold necklace, this ensemble was polished, sassy and glamorous. I wore this to the opening party for the SB International Film Festival and had so many people tell me they thought it was "the" dress of the evening. This was an absolutely amazing dress that made me feel playful and sophisticated. None of the pictures do this dress justice.

I absolutely adored this dress, I wore it on new years eve and it was perfect! It definitely ran a little small in the bust area, I would have probably felt more comfortable in a 2 but they were out of that size. Other than that it really is perfect for formal/party attire.

The dress is even more beautiful in person! However, I would recommend if you have breasts to get a size up from your usual. I usually wear a 4 but it would've been a little easier to breath in a 6.

The dress fitted great from her waist down. She is very small in her chest and I felt that if I went a smaller size it would have been to tight around her waist. She loved the dress when she first saw it and did not want to look at anything different. My Sister in Texas told me about the website. I normally wear a 4, but based on other comments I got a 6 as my back up size and ended up wearing it. I had a little trouble with the zipper, but otherwise loved everything about this dress. Also looked great with my tiara and sash :-) I would definitely consider renting this again.

I wore this dress for Law School Prom and it was perfect. It is a big dress and very young looking but that was perfect for me. The top is slightly tight, but not having a large bust, it was not a problem for me. The inner lining is nude, as others have commented and several people did point it out as a possible defect, but it didn't show up in picture or bother me. The lining would be a bit short on taller girls. Overall, I loved the dress and would rent it again!

The dress fit perfectly & was great quality! I had actually ordered a different dress for my client to wear, but was returned to RTR in poor condition, so they sent me this AND another dress that were the most similar to the dress I originally rented. Customer service is fantastic, renting is easy, and returning the dress is even easier! Just make sure not to damage your dress so that others can enjoy the same dress you did.

It fits true to size, however, the top part is slightly smaller than it should be. There isn't a hook and eye at the top, so if you have someone to help you zip up, then use them. I figured it out on my own, but it takes a little work. It's comfortable and very pretty and girlie, I loved wearing it!

"Wow" - that's pretty much the first reaction I got. I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress. Cons: the under slip is super short. It barely covered my hips. Do not bend over. I repeat: do NOT bend over. The tulle skirt is also rather sheer. One cannot wear Spanx. Pros: the corset will lift the girls when you sit down. The corset is rather soft, so one can breathe easily. This dress is perfect for those of us with pear shaped figures!

I wore this dress for my dance team banquet and reviewed so many compliments on it. The only cons to the dress is that if you have a bigger bust its a little tight and the nude slip underneath can look a little odd. Otherwise I adored the dress and was happy with it!

The fit runs small. I am a 4/5. The size 6 fit but was a bit snug. I would recommend you rent a size bigger as an option especially if you have a larger bust. The ballerina style skirt was absolutely beautiful and flattering. I'm 5'7", the skirt length was right on the knee.

I wore this dress to night club event in NYC and it was perfect! Comfortable, fun and flattering! The boning on the bodice was sturdy and supportive and the tutu bottom was light and adorable. I gave this dress 4 instead of 5 stars because I had some issues with the zipper getting stuck.

I rent this dress for the Halloween party. It was perfect for the night. I got tons of compliments, but I would not rent it for other occasions. I was completely in love with this dress since I first saw it. Seeing how others said it runs small, I ordered a 4 and 6. BIG MISTAKE.The 4 fit fine,with a few uncomfortable bulges here and there but the 6 was huge.Having a C bust,cleavage is pretty much in the package with this dress, but it was ultimately fine and wasn't over the top considering the classy essence.I wore this to homecoming and it held up the whole night through all my jumping and dancing.The skirt is a big let down though. Yes, it's poofy,but it has barely any layers underneath,so you can see these visible tears of black mesh sewed to a nude underskirt.It looks unfinished to me,but it's unnoticable to the public really. Most of the reviews say if you're under 5'5, the length may be a problem, but I'm a comfortable 5'3 and I wore 3inch heels, and the dress looked fine on me.It came just at the knee and was flattering. Perhaps, it would look more complementary on someone who is tall and slim, but then again, doesn't everything?The one thing that I DIDN'T like was the constant jabbing into my waist.While I was dancing, this discomfort irritated me.I had bruises on my hips for a week after.I also wish this dress had a lace up, corset like top instead of the zipper.This dress can easily outshine you. I was expecting this cocktail dress would be too big for her but wow! It turned out really well, she seldom wears dresses opting for jeans and a shirt. But this time she just loved this dress. I wore this dress for a masquerade rehearsal dinner and got so many compliments. It does have a lining that hugs your hips, so if you have larger hips you may need to go a size up. It was also a little tight in the waist - I normally wear a 2 but I wore the 4 in this dress because of the hips and waist. I am small busted so that meant it stuck out just a little on the top, but for the most part that wasn't noticeable. It fit the theme perfectly and I felt like a princess! I've never worn a dress so poofy and I loved it. I normally get annoyed with strapless dresses because I have to pull them up all night, but I didn't have to do that once with this dress (probably because it was so tight!)

Highly suggest to feel pretty!

This dress was literally AMAZING. I wore it for a masquerade formal and it was absolutely perfect. I hung it upside down in the bathroom while showering to steam the tulle and that really helped to unwrinkle it and made it even poofier. The only complaint I had was that it was a tad bit big. I usually wear a 0 and this was a little big around my waist and especially my chest. I had to wear a push up bra, and even then it was pretty big. But overall I cannot complain because I am obsessed with this dress and mourned the day I had to return it.

This was sent to me as a back up dress as the one I wanted was "damaged beyond repair". It's not something I would've picked for myself because I'm super thin and long. And my friend ordered the white one for the same party :) The skirt is very poofy. The bodice fits well. i just couldn't wear it because I felt like I was too old for such a cute dress. It's more for a young, curvy, 20 something not a skinny 30 something.

I usually wear a 2-4 and this dress runs a little small. It took two people to zip it up and I'm not a big girl nor am I busty. I'd say get your normal size and a size up in this dress, just in case. I loved that they company included fabric tape. I couldn't wear a bra with the dress so I was very grateful that the tape was included to make sure that I didn't have any malfunctions while I danced the night away. I loved the dress! I got so many compliments and everyone told me I looked like a fairy princess. It was the perfect dress for me and I'll definitely rent from this site again!

Runs a bit small so maybe size up

I didn't end up wearing this dress because it was my back up dress. I loved it though. Its very girly-girl and fun. This is a dress you wear if you really want to make a statement. I didn't feel bold enough. Plus I am 30 and I felt that this was a younger dress. I liked it a lot though. The tool part of the dress was a great material. The top of it seems quite casual though.

We ordered both a 2 and a 4 but I ended up wearing the 2 because it fit better around the chest. Luckily the dress came with tape because the bottom of the bustier rolled a bit right along the tule. It worked like a charm. I decided to wear knee high boots for a more casual look since I went with a group of friends instead of a date. Plus, it complimented my pink hair for Breast Cancer Awareness. I plan to use RTR for future events! The dress was unique and I got a lot of compliments. I loved my look!!!!

Cute dress on the model. I am a very petite person. I did not read the reviews and everyone said to size up. I should have. It was REALLY tight in the rib cage. Often times even a size 0 is too big for me but this was small. It does not have a hook and eyelet so it took 2 people to get me zipped up. There are cuter dresses out there.

I did read other reviews before I rented it, but I thought I would take a shot and see if I liked it. I did not. My normal size 10 was too small. And I didn't like that you could see the nude skirt the tulle was attached to. It was a little faded. It would be better as a costume or for a semi formal outdoor type event rather than a red carpet type event. I did not end up wearing it.

I ended up not wearing this dress as it runs SUPER small. My chest simply would not fit in it, and I am a 30 D. Thankfully RTR and their excellent customer service overnighted me a different dress that was also a size 8 and fit me spectacularly!

I wore this dress for my Junior Homecoming, and this was my backup dress that I ended up wearing because the other dress could not be sent out at the last minute due to extensive damage. It was an alright dress, but the tulle is a lot more obnoxious than it looks on the model on this site. It's not a very comfortable dress to move around in, and the tulle was especially awkward to dance in. All in all, it's an alight dress, but personally not my favorite.

The top is very flattering. Very uncomfortable to sit in this dress. The corset boning does not give.

I rented this for a holiday black tie event, but neither of the sizes I got fit me. The 4 (which had previously been worn and then dry cleaned) was VERY tight in the torso/chest - I was unable to zip it up all the way. The dress also has a fairly snug slip beneath the full skirt, so even though the skirt flares, the 4 was close to being too tight in the hips. The 6 (which was brand new with tags still on) was far too big in the chest. In my opinion, way too much of a size difference between the 4 and 6 - I'm guessing the 4 shrunk after being dry cleaned? The dress that had previously been worn definitely didn't look as nice as the new one, the lace overlay on the bodice didn't really lie flat at the waistline, and there was some wear to the tulle. However, the new dress looked great, very cute style and appropriate length - I'm really bummed it was too large. Fortunately, the wonderful customer service reps at RTR were able to overnight me 2 other dresses to save the day! FYI: As another reviewer noted, the dress lacks a hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper and is a challenge to pull the zipper up without someone helping you… Make sure you're getting dressed with a helper!
