I was so thrilled with this dress! My usual size 0 was unavailable for my event date, but based on the reviews I ordered a 2 and I'm glad I did - it definitely runs small! I was almost concerned the dress was too tight but it ended up being perfect, I don't think I had to pull it up once the whole night. I got a "whoa!" from my date when I walked out in this dress, and got so many compliments from others as well. Definitely a unique dress that stood out in a sea of LBD's, which is exactly what I wanted. Thanks RTR for another great rental!

Sweet + Sexy? Nailed it. There is something flirty and cute about an A line but the fishnet/tulle-like overlay gave an air of va-va-voom. My husband LOVED it, and like my header says, NEVER gotten so many like on facebook. 2 had a little more breathing room, but went with the 0 so I didn't need to wear a bra. Definitely tight on the ribcage but kept me from over-eating at dinner - lol am I right ladies?! The slip is noticeably shorter than the overlay, unlike in the pic where they appear similar length. I am 5'5" and the overlay went almost to my knees whereas the slip only went midthigh, Kind of added to the allure, but something to think about if your are on the short side. Amazing dress.

Fit was great. It was the perfect New Year's Eve dress! Sassy and fun!

I ended up wearing the 4 even though I am usually a 2. It was snug in the waist but a tad roomy in the chest area (I only wear an A cup). But with silicone inserts it was fine. The underskirt is definitely short though. This is a great dress for petite girls but if you're tall, I'd rethink it. I don't even hit 5'1" and it felt short to me -- and I'm no stranger to short skirts! It was a very fun dress though and I felt flirty and outgoing wearing it. My husband said I looked like a butterfly right after I pulled it on. He said that's a good thing. Who knows....men!

The length was perfect, showed off my long legs! I'm very slim, so the top was a little loose, but with some slight additions to the bust area, it worked out just fine! ;) The design was beautiful and unlike any other dress that was worn at the event! It came right on time, and the process of RTR is AMAZING! It was the first time we used this service, and I'm already searching for my homecoming dress for next Fall!!!

I went to homecoming in this dress, and I felt so pretty! I wore a jean jacket with it due to cold weather, but it looked great! It runs relatively true to size, however, I usually don't fit into all 0's, I aim more for 00 and XS, and this one was a little tight. I suggest ordering one size larger as well just in case. Definitely worth renting again if I get the chance! Great pick for my first rent the runway purchase! Note: the color looks a little beige, though it's more of a light gold.

This is a cute dress. The black tule is festive. However, it is true that it is a very very short. I am 5'4' and in good shape, and the beige skirt aspect of the dress barely covered my backside. I had to be careful bending over and sitting. Also, I would not recommend the size 2 for any of us that have a larger chest, they might have problems keeping everything in. All that said, I loved it and don't regret renting it.

Beware of how small it really is. I typically wear a size 6 in dresses. I am a 4 on top and an 8 on bottom. I wore the 12 which was just right.

I'm 5' 1", 102 lbs - the dress was cute, but because of my short torso, the dress didn't stretch out all the way and had a little bubble effect with the ribbon waistband (not stretchy). nothing terribly noticeable but it bothered me a bit.

I wore this for my golden birthday (turned 31 on the 31st). It was just as it looks in the photo, although mine was a little worn and the gold dress's black lining kept creeping out the bottom of the dress. It is definitely a short dress! Be sure to check yourself as you stand up. I am 5'7", 110, 33, 25, 35. I had to get the size 2 because no size 0 was available for my party date. I used a lot of fashion tape and still needed to pull the dress up. So it definitely runs true to size and I'm betting the 0 would have fit me well. If you can get your size and aren't too concerned about wearing a short dress, this is a great rental. I had around 3-5 strangers compliment me on the dress throughout the evening.

For me the hardest part about fitting into the dress was that it didn't have a lot of room for my chest - both the 0 and the 2 flattened my chest and there was a constant situation when I was afraid of spilling out. No bra. Note that it's like a dress within a dress - there is a form fitting layer underneath with a tulle skirt on top.

Liked the dress a lot. Ordered a 0 and 2 because I was concerned that the sizes ran small, based on the other reviews. The 0 ended up fitting really well and I never took the 2 out of the package. I;d definitely recommend it, but it seems to be made for someone with a smaller chest. It fit me really well because I'm not terribly well-endowed, but other reviewers had some issues with the fitting. Additionally, the tulle skirt was poofier than I'd expected it to be from the picture. Definitely not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind. I rented this dress for a masquerade themed holiday party and I loved the dress--but be warned it runs small and short! I normally wear a comfortable 4 and on a good day a size 2, but I barely zipped up an 8! This is definitely for a short and petite girl, but luckily I managed to make it work. I ended up loving the dress and it fit thanks to the fact that I read the other reviews before ordering or otherwise I would've been in trouble!

I ordered this dress for my homecoming! Because of the reviews, I ordered up - a 6 and an 8 - where I would have originally ordered a 4 and a 6. The four probably would have fit better than the six in the long run, but with a little fashion tape, I had no issues. The bust has no give, so when I was inhaling it fit snugly but if I raised my arms or exhaled I was in major danger of a nip slip, but like I said some fashion tip fixed it. The under skirt is pretty tight and tricky to sit down in. But despite any fit issues, the dress was beautiful and I got lots of compliments on it. Would definitely order again.

I wore Allison's dress before, so I thought I knew what size I needed, but it was way too small. Definitely get a bigger size than you think you need. The fabric is also very fragile chiffon, so it had the potential to rip easily. Also, the bottom was constricting.

The bodice was very tight, ran a little small. I'm typically a zero, but wore a 2 in this dress and it was still a little tight.

This was a backup dress and I ended up not wearing it because it just felt too skimpy in length and sheerness. It probably didn't help that I was renting in January and that I'm on the tall side, so maybe shorter women renting in the summer will have better luck!

I read that it ran small. I normally wear a 4. I ordered a 6 and the 8 as a backup and the 8 didn't even fit! I still needed another inch for it to be able to zip. That said, it was super cute minus the fact that I couldn't wear it. I'm so bummed I didn't get to wear this. SUPER SHORT but it doesn't look too risque because of the black tulle over it. More for a trendy night out, I wouldn't wear it to a work event.

This dress was very pretty but didn't fit me well - they didn't have the 2 I ordered and the 4 was a touch too big. Plus the waist hit too high on me, making me look straighter and thicker than I am.

Super tight & short..runs a little bit small. It was edgy but didn't look right on me- a girl with a big butt and big bust. Definitely reserved for petite girls!

I'm normally a size 6/8 but based off of other reviews I decided to order this in an 8 and 10 for my event. Neither sizes fit! The dress runs extremely small (the 10 barely zipped halfway up my torso)! I was expecting the material to be much better, but the dress just feels cheap. The customer service at RTR is fabulous and they shipped a different dress overnight and it fit fabulously!

I couldn't even wear this dress. I rented a 6 and an 8 and tried on the 8 and literally couldn't zip it. It was also short it may as well have been a shirt. If you are very short and very small, it may work. I would recommend something like 4 sizes up!

Cheap material. Overlay gets crumpled up during travel. Does not feel at all like taffeta to me. I cannot imagine how this could be a $400 dress. Didn't wear it.
