Loved this. Color was gorgeous, fit was perfect, the length was perfect for me getting the Petite size. Lots of compliments, enjoyed wearing it!!

I loved this dress. I wore it to a January wedding in downtown San Francisco. It's really complimentary for someone with an hourglass shape, coming in tightly at the waist and then flowing out delicately from the hips. I didn't end up wearing a bra, which was super comfortable for me all day. However, it did make it appear, because of the way the fabric falls up top (it kind of bunches up if you slouch or when you move about), that I didn't have a chest at all! But that's not something that bothers me, personally, and I'd rather be comfortable. The dress floats behind you in a way that is absolutely mesmerizing and I received many compliments throughout the day. The one downside for me was the length in the back. There were no more 2Ps left so I wore a 2R and without heels it dragged on the floor behind me. I also found that I had to hold the end in order to dance. I was a little worried about it getting ripped by someone accidentally stepping on it! But if you can get the right length for your height then it's absolute perfection.

Fabulous dress!! It was so flowy, fun, and surprisingly comfortable. It is very fitted at the waist so it did run small for me, and I had to go up a size. I usually don't feel comfortable wearing anything without a bra, but this one was tight enough in the bust that I almost considered it. In the end I wore a strapless bra, and just pulled the back down a bit to be below the opening in the back. I got compliments all night long!

I had originally ordered a different dress, but when that didn't fit right in the bust the RTR stylists assisted me in picking not just one, but two, back up dresses that were both beautiful Allison Parris designs. I went with this one because it flattered my figure so nicely and kept "the girls" under control. I received so many compliments and my date thought I was stunning. I would definitely recommend this dress, but be aware that it is fitted in the waist and rather low in the back so a normal halter bra will show. Overall I'd give this dress a 5 out of 5!

I hosted a vintage Vegas casino night for my women's group to support our local food bank. I wanted a fun dress that I didn't need to mess with, as I needed to keep the party humming along. I felt great all night and received compliments from everyone. It was a great night and this dress was perfect!

The fabric is nice and flowy. It is very nice for an evening out or gala. The top can sit a bit oddly, so I suggest a bit of dress tape to secure all of your important parts.

The dress floated beautifully as I moved around. Loved it! The other reviews were correct that the waist band has NO give. It was okay and the dress held up nicely considering the pressure that waist band was under after dinner and lots of dancing.

One of my all time RTR faves. It's super flattering, its flitted above the waste and flowy below, so even though I ate a ton at the party and still felt slender. The cut of the bottom dress means it moves beautifully. Really fun for dancing. Super long though. I'm almost 5'9 and in heels it brushed the ground. I'd buy it if I could.

What a beautiful dress! Probably my favorite rental ever. I felt like a celebrity. The 2 P fit my 5'3 Body perfectly. The length in the back just touched the floor with 4 inch heels. There are two layers to the dress and the overlay is a little iridescent. So pretty. The waist is quite fitted, but fit me so well like it was made for me. I have a small natural waist. The beading on the straps was the perfect touch and I did not need to wear a necklace. I did have to go bra less but there were no problems, even with a chill in the air.

I needed to exchange my first dress for another one so I went to the Georgetown location the day of my event. The service was spectacular. Cori helped me and she made sure I found something I was happy with in time for my event. I'm usually a size 12-14, but the 16 in this dress fit me perfectly. It was light and flowed so beautifully. I wore it to a black tie wedding and felt amazing and comfortable all evening. Would definitely recommend this gown. Looking forward to my next RTR rental!

Usually a 2, I rented the 4 after reading the reviews about the dress running small and the 4 fit great. Very comfortable dress, was able to dance in it all night long and eat and drink without feeling constricted. Gorgeous and classy, perfect fit for an elegant wedding at a botanic garden. Definitely recommend.

This navy dress is perfect for a formal evening event, such as a wedding or gala! It runs true to size, but we recommend going up one size, as the material does not have much give and is very fitted in the natural waist. There is comfortable room for hips. With the open back, we suggest wearing a NuBra or no bra. The material is super light, and the embellished neck, leaves you with one less worry to find necklace to matched!

I wore this amazing and flowy gown for my best friends rehearsal dinner/welcoming party and it was a HUGE hit. It accentuates the waist and fits snugly on the bust with plenty of room in the hips. I usually wear a 2 but I got the 4 after reading the other reviews. The color of this dress is an exquisite dark/navy blue and the material is so beautiful and high end. I would highly recommend this dress and I will for sure rent it again.

This dress was so beautiful, and I had a great time wearing it. It is made out of this very nice and durable material that flows when you walk. The dress is very fitted at the waist, so there was a mild degree of suffocation going on, but is was definitely worth it for how beautiful this dress was. The beading on the sleeves was also very pretty. The dress also has an open back. Overall, this dress was great and I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Agree with others that the waist doesn't give, but I found the dress comfortable. The color is absolutely STUNNING, and the fabric flows beautifully (red carpet worthy). The beading was a little beat-up, but imperfections were not very noticeable. Accessories finish the look. Reco this dress as flattering and appropriate for formals, without being stuffy.

This dress was very nice and light to put on! I wish there was a little bit of give at the waist, but there's a ton of space below so it oddly enough didn't feel too restrictive. When I did sit down, it was a little tight, but it wasn't unbearable. The dress is very long at the back, so I wearing 4.5" to 5" heels in absolutely required. The zipper in the back is VERY LONG. which is excellent given the tighter fit with the natural waist part of the dress. Because the waist was a tighter fit, to make my life easier, I put on the dress backwards, zipped it up, and then rotate the dress back and then put the clasp on it. The clasp in the back is notably big! So clipping that on is pretty easy. Overall a great rental and dress for the event.

Dress fit great!! I wore 18 long and wore wedges and the length was present. Only negative was that the clasp around the back of my neck kept Coming undone.

The dress fit true to size. I thought it was tight in bust as I am a 38D but it still fit with my strapless VS bra.

I rent from RTR every year for the annual MP military ball and I have yet to be disappointed...this dress was no exception! The material was very light and the beading detail on the shoulder made it special. I received many compliments! Overall the fit was good, but my only complaint was that the top near the bust was a little big for me. Nothing a little double stick tape couldn't fix!

Dress was beautiful and looked great on. The top is very tight though. I do have a large chest, 36GG, and they were squished! This itself had its pros and cons, you really can't wear a bra because of the style of the straps, but one wasn't necessary because of the tightness of the top of the dress, at the same time my chest was squished flat, but luckily you couldn't tell because of the overlaying of the top fabric. It is also very tight right below the chest area, wasn't a problem throughout the night, just something to consider.

The style of this dress is so flowy and the color is gorgeous. Lightweight material is nice and the hi-low hem is so fun. Cons: tight at waist- I had to slide up like a previous reviewer, though it didn't affect the overall look. Also, top is rather loose and I was shifting it around a lot. A benefit was I could wear a strapless bra.

It's truly a beautiful gown, I typically wear a 16, the 20 didn't fit well. It was snug in my chest and the bottom portion of my waist. If you looked at the dress it didn't appear too small but it was uncomfortably tight in my chest. It is a stunning dress, but if you have a large chest I would suggest another dress because your boobs pull the top down and it caused some of my boob to come out of armpit spot because it was snug and pushing them out of the side and being pulled down!

Loved this dress! The 14 fit a little better but I was singing at the wedding and wanted more room to breathe- that being said I had to tape the top a bit so it didn't gap. It's a beautiful color, great material, and flows gorgeously! It's unique while still being classic. I would definitely rent this again!

So all the reviews said this dress ran small and in response I ordered the larger size as my back up. The 18, although snug around the waist where there is a kind of band, elsewhere it fits perfectly. The 20 was gaping on the sides but less tight around the waist. I went with the snug fit and loved it. Although I loved the dress, both arrived VERY WRINKLED! And it looked to me like some of the sequins was coming apart at the neckline. Luckily one of the bridesmaids had a steamer. Anyway, I got compliments on the dress all night! It was a HIT!

The top part was way too big on me. I had to use safety pins on the sides to close the gap. Debated whether or not to still wear, but the rest of the dress fit so nicely... and loved how the back was longer than the front. The dress flowed so gracefully when walking. And also the cutout back was a nice detail.

I rented this to wear as a bridesmaid for a summer wedding. I am tall (5'10") and especially loved how it has a tall option. I wore 3 inch heels and thought it was the perfect length. I'm only giving 4 stars for two reasons: (1) you can't wear a bra with this and I'm lacking in the chest area so it definitely was baggier than I would've liked (I think if you're a C cup or bigger you should be good) & (2) the waist had no give at all. Just didn't seem necessary for this style of dress for that waist to be so tight. I could've worn the 12L but then the top situation would've been too out of control! But I did get tons of compliments and I loved it for dancing all night! Would definitely recommend!

I tried this dress at a stlist appointment at the RTR Flatiron location. It was a backup dress to my original order so I didn't even up wearing it. The fabric is lightweight and Flowy. The neck detail is very pretty. Be advised when sizing that there is NO stretch to the fabric whatsoever and it does fit very tightly at the natural waist. Also the back has a beautiful opening but due to the open back you will not be able to wear a strapless bra. Overall a nice look but was too tight for me in the end.

Really A beautiful dress. I rated it a 3 only because the waist fell too low on me and was very snug . I ended up pulling the waist up to my natural waist and pinning it. No one could tell. Very comfortable and I got a lot of complements.

Fits true to size. I had to wear my hair down because the halter it was a little big on me & I had to safety pin it in the back.

Love this dress! The fit is very tight through the body/rib cage area, but true to size everywhere else. I rented the 2 and 4- the 2 fit was ideal except I could not zip the back, so I wore the 4.

Many compliments. Lightweight for summer wedding but moved into evening well. Doesn't keep you warm.
