I didn't have an issue with the arms like previous reviews. That was one thing I was worried about. I loved the color of the dress and I loved the fit. The size 10 fit, but because the size 12 was a little looser I chose to wear that one only because the tighter fit made the dress ride up more and it's already short enough lol. I wore tights because it was freezing outside and because the dress was a lot shorter than I thought! Overall, the dress is beautiful and I was not disappointed.

It was a great fit for my bachelorette party. It was fitted, short and very comfortable. Would rent again. Compliments all night.

Loved this dress. Got tons of compliments and photographed well! I usually wear a 4-6 and ended up wearing a 6. Snug in the shoulders and arms like many of the other reviews said but I would definitely order again. Would probably reorder the 6 but would grab the 8 as the extra size to see how that fits!

I flew in to surprise my friend for her birthday but the party ended up being at a dive bar. But I didn't feel over-dressed, the sequins are dull & I paired it with boots & casual earrings. The size 8 didn't fit my arms, thankfully rtr sent me a 10 too!

It was a gorgeous dress. A bit shorter than I am usually comfortable wearing.

When the dress arrived, it was a duller gold than I expected. However, when I put it on, it was perfect in color! The dress is fully lined and not super tight. After reading the reviews, I went up a size bigger than normal. I received compliments all night. The dress is comfortable and not skin tight. I would definitely recommend!

The size was perfect and I did not have an issue at all with the sleeves like the previous reviews. I am also curvy and it fit me like a glove, I got so many complements!! I wish I could keep it!

Loved this dress! Only bummer was that the sleeves are pretty snug and it was borderline too short. It appeared to be snagged in a few areas from previous people since the dress is pretty detailed with sequins. Got lots of compliments though. Loved receiving the mini deodorant and dry shampoo. I love RTR and will rent again in the future!

The sparkles are very pretty, but more matte than they appear in the photo on the model. The chevrons are a great detail! The sequins on the sleeve did catch with the ones on the body of the dress. This dress was a great fit on the upper body but slightly bigger on the bottom so some of the photos from that night aren't the most flattering.

My daughter wore this for a Ring Dance. It's so pretty in person- high quality- sparkly- well made. My daughter is tall with an athletic build and strong shoulders. This dress runs very small in the shoulder area- so we had to go up a couple of sizes in order for it to fit her. Fortunately other reviewers warned of this and I listened to them. By getting a size that fit her shoulders- it made it baggy everywhere else. It was also super short on her 5'10" frame. She wore sport compression shorts underneath in case she flashed anyone. She adored the dress and felt good in it. I imagine it would work best on people with small shoulders and an athletic build- probably not ideal for people who are curvy or have wider hips.

This dress is so pretty! I got a ton of compliments but it defiantly runs small so size up unless you are really really petite. I usually wear a 4 or 6 depending on the silhouette (I am very hippy) but wore the 8. It is very fitted in the arms and shoulders for some reason and there is absolutely no stretch. Even the 8 was snug on my arms and shoulders and my arms are not that big! The sequins are two different shades of gold and the material on the sleeves are a dark taupe. The length was perfect for me and I wore a normal bra

The arms were extremely tight. I rented both a 6 and an 8. Both fit pretty close in size, but the arms of the 6 were too small to even pull on. I loved the dress and wore it to my engagement party! I am 5'9 and 135-140 (depending on the day :) ) so it was a good fit. I would highly recommend this dress. It was sparkly without being too much.

Great dress that photographs really well- perfect mini sheath dress to highlight your legs! It was a bit tight across the chest/shoulders so I went up a size for the extra room across the shoulders / arm hole- otherwise it fits true to size. Oh and the satin ribbon detail is more beige and less gold/cream but still lovely.

This was my first rental and it worked out really well! Dress arrived on time and the packaging was great. Wore this dress to a work holiday party and the style was perfect for the occasion because of the length, sleeves, and neckline. As other reviewers have noted, the sleeves are a little tight, especially around the armpits so it's a good idea to get a size bigger than what you usually wear. With all the sequins I was worried about whether the dress would be too loud, but the colors were really elegant. Would recommend this dress, but keep in mind the snug sleeves!

Wore this for an event down in DC and it was perfect. It fit a little more snug than I was expecting, so I'm glad I ordered a size up rather than down. Some of the sequins were going in opposite directions, but was able to smooth them out for the most part. Also, the arms of the dress were pretty tight fitting, but not a huge issue. Great length for a little bit of extra sass! Added a clutch to it to complete the outfit!

Loved the fit, and felt comfortable sitting in it, and I have very long legs.

The dress does not move at all, which I liked. It tucked me in in places I needed to be tucked. The design pattern was very flattering.

Had to wear one size up. Like some of the other reviewers mentioned, I couldn't fit my arms in the size 6 (my normal size). Love RTR and can't wait to rent again! This was my first rental and the experience was awesome!!!

Wore this to my company holiday dinner. The event was out on a rooftop, so I wanted something with sleeves to keep me a bit warmer. As other reviewers have said, the sleeves were pretty tight, and I have some pretty skinny arms! The sleeves also ended right at my elbows, so bending them was a bit tricky unless I pulled the sleeves up a bit. I am usually a 4, but based on other reviews I ordered the 4 and 6. The sleeves of the 6 fit much better, and the body of the dress was just a bit looser, but I went for the 4 as I figured I was just sitting at a dinner and not out dancing etc. I'm 5'8", so the dress was a bit on the shorter side, but it was so pretty that I just had to wear it. Great festive dress, and the gold color was perfect for a holiday dinner downtown!

The dress was great - I did end up selecting the larger of my 2 sizes because it was a little short. I am 5'8 and felt it was slightly short (especially for dancing). The dress was wonderful other than that, it photographed really well and I received lots of compliments. It was comfortable and easy to move in, I would just recommend getting a size up if you need the extra length.

This is a beautiful dress & very comfortable. I had a lot of fun wearing it & got a lot of compliments. Beware of the sequin... I had to wear the larger back up size because the size 10 had sequin missing in obvious areas. It was a little loose, but comfortable for a night of dancing. I wore it for a 70's themed birthday party. I'm 5'3", and the dress came mid-thigh.

I'm 5'3 and 118 pounds. I am slightly bigger on the hips/but so I originally ordered a size 2 and 4, thinking the 4 would fit- neither one of them did, I called RTR in a panic and they were able to overnight me a size 6 to the hotel. The 2 I couldn't even get on, the 4 I couldn't get my arms into- DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY... I don't have big arms and the sleeves were SO TIGHT! Even in the 6 that I ordered last minute was tight on the arms but doable. There were some pulls one big one in the front and 2 smaller ones in the back- luckily you couldn't really notice them so I left them alone. Overall, the dress was nice but it was too much of a hassle with the sizing and arm issue.

No stretch at all. My arms were too full to go into the arm pit. It was like putting my arms into a PVC pipe. I ordered too small. Needed a 8 or 10, I ordered a 6.

Loved this dress, perfect for my engagement photos. It's a great party dress but tight in the arms and pretty short. Great for a cocktails but not a lot of movement or sitting.

Fit runs TTS, I think -- I'm usually an 8 or a 10; I rented both sizes, and tried on the 10 first, and didn't even bother with the 8. (Note that it's also obnoxious to get on and off -- it zips fully down the back, so you have to have someone else zip it up for you.) It has little metallic rings that make up the shininess (not sequins); it's lined, so it doesn't itch. The only downside is that the inner lining rides up, so half an inch was showing at the neckline. I finally fixed this by pinning it from the inside.

Gorgeous dress, loved the look. Was sent this as a back-up option from RTR and was hoping to try the 6 and the 8. Only sent the 6 and was certainly short and sleeves were TIGHT! I generally wear a 6, but didn't even attempt to get this one fully on once the arms went on. Love the dress and would try it again in a larger size.

This dress would be very a cute choice for dinner and cocktail parties. The sleeves (upper arms) are pretty tight, it would be a good fit for girls with skinny arms and leggs.

I did not think the arms were tight at all, like the other reviewers. My issue was the length. It was way too short for me. I am 5'9 and when I lifted my arms, you could see it all. I could not dance in it. Way short. It is a great dress for somebody smaller and petite. If you are over 5'5 be careful of flashing....

The fit was technically fine except for the length. But it was extremely heavy and thick and overwhelmed by 5'3, 110 lb frame. Also went to my knees.

I wore something else, but it looked great in the other girl's photos. I would recommend this if you are modeling it or attending a special occasion without too much waving of the arms. I listened to previous reviews, sized up (great advice!), but it was heavier than I wanted and I would not have been comfortable to dance around around in this.

I rented this for an engagement party. Since it's a newer style, it definitely hadn't been worn by a bunch of people yet so it was in great condition and looked super. But, like lots of sequins dresses, it needs to be worn a few time before it loosens up in all the right places to be worn normally. I have arms on the smaller side, but this dress was so snug on the arms I could barely zip myself up!

Dress runs very small and the texture of the dress is extremely uncomfortable.

The arms are so small I couldn't wear the size two. I already went up a size, usually always a size 0 ... Because I had to go up two sizes the rest of the dress fit terribly.... This was the worst fitting dress I've ever tried on by far.

I am 4'11'', 32A and 100 lbs. The 0 was still too small. Although the bottom half fit pretty well, the top was way too big. If I was a little larger in the chest, it would have been a bit better!

This dress is *gorgeous* and I loved wearing it. Just bought it in their clearance sale. It is quite short, so I did go with the larger size, but it still fit in the shoulders and looked trendy not too loose. It also looked good even with my hippier body shape. I felt amazing wearing it. Tons of compliments. Only note is that the sequins could be more secure. I wore it for one night, including some dancing, but nothing to crazy and still managed to loose a thread, which pulled of a series of sequins. Bummer. But amazing, bold dress.

I got compliments all night at my wedding rehearsal dinner. This dress is rose gold and kind of a thick material - I couldn't bend my arms at the elbows very well. At first when I tried it on, I couldn't reach my arms above my shoulders to zipper it up. The second time it was looser but I'd still say a little tight in the shoulders/armpits. I listened to the other reviews and went a size up than normal (6 instead of my normal 4) and it fit perfectly otherwise. I wore with black shoes and blazer.

This dress is perfect for Las Vegas or Vegas themed gala/party. I bought this dress and wanted to wear it for the gala, but it came three days after the party even though I ordered it over a week in advanced. Therefore I wore the dress I rented which was fine, but this one was better for the theme.

Just like all the other reviews, I agree: size up. My normal size is a 6, and unfortunately there were no 8's available to be my backup size. So I squeezed myself into the 6. It was ok, but I have super skinny (read: not-toned) arms and a pretty small chest. I can totally see how those with any sort of muscle, a larger chest, or with even the slightest broad shoulder would not be able to fit into their normal size. I only managed to even squeeze into the 6 because of control top panty hose, and lifting my arms above my head was a no-go for the evening. It was fitting for the New Year's party I wore it to, but was glad to take it off and send it back. I think if I'd been able to get the size 8 I would've been much more comfortable. It is also a bit on the short side, but I liked that and I think that's the point- so that it is not too matronly with with high neckline and longer sleeves. I will also say, for being covered in sequins, I found this dress remarkably un-itchy. It was also unseasonably warm on NYE and I didn't feel too hot in it. So as long as one size up from your normal size is available, I say this is a good dress for a special occasion.
