I am never not a 0, this dress ran very small. It was pretty uncomfortable in the rib cage area. Take note, this doesn't seem to be a designer issue as I ordered a 2 in another Alisson Parris dress with a very similar silhouette (there was no 2 in the original dress I ordered) as a back-up and I was swimming in it. The dress was very nice, heavy fabric, needed a bit of ironing in the skirt. The skirt was full. Perfect for a cocktail/evening party.

I would wear this over and over again! The fabric was sheen and beautiful. The fit was comfortable and held you in all the right places. Fun and flirty dress. Everyone loved it!

*Fit: fits like a glove-- tight in the torso with light wire corset to accentuate the waist. The bust area wasn't a huge deal for me since I don't have big boobs (lol) but I can see how it may be an issue if you are C or higher! I did a minor # of tugs and readjustments during the party but that was expected from a strapless dress; in fact, this dress did an amazing job staying in place without suffocating me. *Length: pretty short but there's enough laces and puffs that it actually looks very adorable. *Overall: really really really cute and I wanted to keep it <3 I even checked the maker to see how much the original dress is. *Customer service: now, I originally ordered a different dress but it was too small (and the backup was even smaller)!! Since it was my first time renting from RTR, I totally panicked... but the website was easy to navigate and I managed to order this dress in the only size that was available and then submit a did-not-fit form for the original dress. Anyways... bottom line is, I got this dress on time and it was perfect!

I loved this dress! I failed to take a full body pic but this dress is awesome. The top fit great and the skirt was so much fun - it swooshed when I walked! It was the perfect party dress and I got so many compliments at the New Years party. Because the skirt is pretty short and poofy I probably wouldn't rent this for a formal wedding or more conservative event.

Fit was perfect, wore a strapless bra and made my smaller boobs look great. So flattering. The tulle is really fun and great to dance in. The bodice did rub my rib cage and gave me a bit of a burn but it was worth it. Wore it with no necklace and gold tipped shoes

I've been eying this dress for awhile, so it was my first choice for a holiday cocktail party. After reading reviews, I went up a size for my backup size. So glad I did! The 6 was great until I got to the very top of the bust and couldn't zip it. I went with the 8, which worked perfectly at the top. The pictures show the gold zipper on the top half of the dress but it actually runs the entire length of the back of the dress. It wasn't a problem, but worth noting. I would have felt more comfortable if the top of the zipper had a hook and eye closure for extra measure. A few people mentioned that the top of the dress flattened them out, but it was quite flattering. The poofy skirt with the little pop of tulle was perfect for a party and so fun to wear. The dress was the perfect length on me as well. Once again I had a fantastic dress and great service from RTR!

Fit like a glove- even when dancing around. You can bet I got a few twirls in with this fun skirt. If you like have all eyes on you- get this dress! Could not love it more!

This dress runs small. I usually wear a 0 or 2. I ordered the 2 and 4. While both fit, I ended up wearing the 2. It was a bit tight but worked.

Dress looked fabulous, but like some other reviews mentioned, the bust is VERY tight. You could see my bikini top tan lines in the dress. I didn't expect for the skirt of the dress to be so full and swishy, but I'd highly recommend wearing some type of shorts (yoga shorts?) underneath, in case the wind picks up. Friends had to help me keep my dress down in the breeze! This was a very fun dress to wear - super flattering in the chest area. I did wear a scarf to the church part of the wedding to stay more conservative. Overall, a great dress!

I ordered both the 4 and the 6 and the ribbing of this dress forced me to wear the 6. It fit pretty snugly, so I would recommend getting a size bigger than you normally are rather than smaller. Overall awesome dress for a wedding! Lots of compliments!

The dress was swishy and playful while still retaining a more sophisticated flair. It was perfect for my college senior formal where I wanted to look grown up with a fun edge. I had a little trouble with the fit since I have a 0 in my waist, but am larger on top., I was still busting out of the 2, but it was manageable for the evening, For this reason I took 1 star off my review. As a very petite woman, the length was perfect for me and not too short or long,

The photo does not really do this dress justice. The bottom of the dress is a lot of fun-the tulle definitely adds character. I got a ton of compliments throughout the night.

I really loved the dress and got lots of compliments! My only issue is I'm small up top and it was a little big, just had to make sure it stayed up all the time.

The dress was so gorgeous. My favorite part was the skirt, it was very full. If you are hoping to stand out then this is definately the dress to do that while staying sophisticated. It is a very flattering dress, especially for girls with bigger hips and thighs. I would not recommend it for girls with bigger chests The top was a big tight, and the dress does not have any stretch whatsoever so for a second size go up one. The dress is pretty long, about knee length in the back, so I tucked up the bottom tulle layer so it was shorter in the front. Just a warning, the zipper goes all the way down the skirt in the back which seems a little odd but it looks good.

This was a pretty stable & fitted strapless dress, but I did do a bit of tugging. The length was perfect -- not too short.

I usually wear a 4 or 6 but they were both tight in the bust. The service to have an 8 overnighted was awesome! The 8 ended up being too big in the bust and I wore push-up strapless bra to fill it out. I got many compliments and had a lot of fun with the poofiness at the bottom. This is a really fun and cute dress. It's not a sexy dress so if you're going for sexy this isn't it but it was perfect for my cousin's early fall wedding where I wanted to look great without showing too much skin. Guest of all ages loved this, even my 89 year old grandma. I'm short and the length was perfect. The 8 was slightly too big on top. I had to tape the top a little but definitely not a deal breaker. I have a full bust and I didn't feel like I was falling out of the dress. Overall, perfect for the occasion!

The zipper runs the entire length of the back of the dress. Prone to get stuck. Mine got stuck and my boyfriend had to spend 15 minutes trying to tear it back down. Wouldn't recommend for someone with large breasts. Tight top that presses down in your breasts creates an unflattering shape.

This fit a little smaller than expected but the ribbing built in made it seem, for the first time in my life, like a had boobs (i don't). I felt awesome in this dress!

We chose "prom theme" for the party & this dress was a hit, it fit perfectly at the top, normally I don't like strapless dresses because by the end of the night you are pulling up on the top to keep it in place. Not this dress! It fit snuggly, yet comfortably, and had just the right amount of sexy mixed with fun. The length was great as well. The dress definitely fits true to size, I would not recommend ordering a size down from your normal dress size. Winner!!!

This dress fit well, however the exposed zipper does go all the way down the back and doesn't have a hook and eye at the top so it would unzip about a quarter of an inch, we put a safety pin on the inside and it stayed just fine. The dress is longer in the back and shorter in the front. It is absolutely darling, but a little short, made for some interesting spins on the dance floor :) overall, very recommended! I am normally a 6 but glad I ordered the 8

It ran a little small! I normally wear a 6, but wore the 8 in this! The zipper got stuck a little and took more than just myself to put it on! Overall, I am in love with this dress.

Pros: --Dress is EXAC what it looks like on the models. --The fit is such that you look super tailored, but can still eat as much as you want (and we went to Giada's, so it was a lot of pasta!) --It's classic LBD, but with a modern twist, so no one will be wearing anything like it! --the cut of the top is flattering, even to us barely B's! Cons: --Be prepared to steam--it comes pretty wrinkled, and an iron may not cut it

I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds, and have an hour glass shape. Though my shoulders are wider I'm very athletic and have a very small bust. 34 around but C or B cup depending on the bra. I normally wear a 6 but the dress wouldn't stay up. I could go bra less in the 4 because the top half was thick and with little latex petals it stayed in place all night even while dancing pretty heavily... I like to party. I got compliments all night long!! I felt gorgeous but it was also a teeny bit edgy to fit the venue. Would buy this... It's amazing!

Loved it! Longer in the back which was perfect! This particular dress had some boning coming out which kept poking me all night but that was not an issue with the dress in general - I wpuld absolutely rent again. Didn't need a bra because of the boning and got a ton of compliments on this dress!

This dress will make you feel like a million bucks, with a little fun attached. The twirl factor is amazing, but it is a little on the shorter side, so make sure you wear your bloomers! I wore a aqua blue blazer with the dress, and it was perfect for covering up for the ceremony, and then ready to let looks on the dance floor. I was comfortable all night, despite the form fitting top, and I received so many compliments on the dress itself. I'd definitely recommend for a classy wedding, bachelorette, or any event where you want to stand out and feel/look your best.

Wore this to a country chic wedding at a banquet hall and I definitely looked the part. I'm usually a 2 or 4 in dresses but based on other reviews I ordered the 4 and 6. The 4 fit like a glove. I am a 34D and did not wear a bra because there was no room for one but it obviously worked out just fine. I really loved how this dress didn't require to pull it up every five seconds like most strapless dresses. It stayed in place all day and night long and was totally comfortable. No complaints! Loved this dress!

I really loved this dress! The fit was a little snug, but it kept everything in place and I didn't feel a need to tug at it all night. It definitely runs small!! I cannot stress that enough. I normally wear a 0-2 and needed to wear the 4. There was some general wear and tear to the dress-one of the wires for the boning was poking out a little. Since it was a dark dress and a dark room, this was not an issue and it wasn't enough to poke me or anyone around me. I received a ton of compliments and just felt great. My boyfriend really loved it, too! The overall Rent The Runway experience was a little less than awesome, but generally it was ok. My dresses were shipped to the NJ warehouse instead of my address and I had a bit of an ordeal trying to get them in time for my event. The customer service was really good, but it was very inconvenient to deal with the mishap. I'm just glad that I had given myself enough time to deal with everything in advance. All in all, I will be happy to rent again in the future.

Loved the dress..felt pretty in it..but a regrettable amount of cleavage as the night wore on. I would rent again, but only for an event with my husband.

I love the style of this dress but for a woman who is a 38D this dress presented my girls with no filter lol. The dress worked well as long as I didn't dance once I started dancing it would not stay up and I was falling out by the time I got home. If you have a large bust I would not suggest this dress unless you size up but then it may not fit your bottom area.

There were 2 stick-like things in the top of the dress, similar to a bustier that were uncomfortable when sitting.

Dress was definitely true to size, could not use a bra my girls would pop out more than they already were! So make sure to go up a size if you have a full bust!! Overall though the dress was beautiful and fun to wear. I would definitely rent it again! Very happy with my first RTR experience.

The bodice did not have much flexibility/breathing room so I was a bit uncomfortable after eating anything. But not so tight that my circulation was cut off! When I first put the dress on I thought the skirt was a little too poofy for me, but it relaxed after some time. And any regrets went out the window with the complements I received! I felt like people were running up to me from across the room to talk about my dress...I would definitely rent this dress again.

As the other reviewers said, the dress fits very tight up top. I have an average size chest but this dress made me look above average. There is no other way I can say this other than my boobs were squished and kind of popped out over the dress. I wore it with a bra because without the bra it made me look like I had a flat chest. Oddly enough, the dress fit. It's just not structured to shape your chest the way other strapless dresses do. With that all being said this dress was so much fun and I got so many compliments. The underskirt was almost tutu like (when you receive the dress immediately shake it out and hang it up, upside down if possible, so the skirt is fluffy). I wore it with hot pink heels and it really made the whole look pop. I bought 4 dresses for this wedding and none of them were right. The only other time I used Rent the Runway was for jewelry. I thought at the last minute to give it a shot (hey if the dress was not right I had a few back ups). I was very pleased with the dress and the service. I think I am going to use Rent the Runway for all my formal events now!

I've been renting dresses from RTR for a few years now, and this one definitely wasn't my favorite. The fit was a little tight, so I wasn't worried at all about it slipping, being that it was strapless. The top of the dress is a little flat, so I'm not sure how this would work for women with larger chests. It was really hard for me to find a black strapless dress like I wanted, so I'm thankful that RTR had a few options!

I ordered the size 0 and 2. My standard size is a 0, but the zipper was broken on the 0 dress so I wore the 2. It wasn't crazy-large by any means; the only difference was that I had to pull up the top once or twice. Not a big deal. Great dress. I would totally rent it again.

I couldn't wear it because it was too small and I stupidly didn't order the next size up. But from what I saw it was so pretty and unique - I was heartbroken I couldn't wear it to my Gala.

The dress fit perfectly, I ended up just wearing a sticky bra. Make sure that you hang it the day you receive it so the tulle has time to fall - when I received it it was bunched up. It was perfect for a wedding, it fit like it was custom made for me.
