Fun and flouncy skirt!!

The full skirt is so fun and it has pockets!! So handy! A mega flattering neckline, although The bust was a little too tight and the waist a little too large. Great for my hips though!

Amazing dress!!

This dress was amazing. My boyfriend is shorter than me and I constantly have to find dresses that lend itself to that shape and this one was perfect. I wore this dress to an outdoor Sept wedding in a winery in VA. It was 95 degrees and humid during the outdoor ceremony. No bra necessary by the way. The dress was a little heavy and hot, but it was well worth it. I got compliments all night. It twirls gorgeous on the dance floor.

Gorgeous, ballet dancer inspired sophisticated dress.

Loved this fit and overall look. Flouncy with a lot of crinoline under the skirt. I liked that. But if you are "hippy" then not for you. I like 50's inspired type things and this has a similar silhouette. I am not busty and this made "the girls" look damn good. Great if you like a halter look. Dark midnight blue. Nice fabric. Well made.

so many compliments!

my original dress never made it to me bc of delivery issues but RTR was amazing at getting me a backup overnight! the dress fit perfectly - probably best for smaller busts as it was tight on me. definitely made eating a bit of a challenge but i loved that the corset was so tight to give extra dimension with the full tulle skirt. so many compliments - classic grace kelly dress

Most comfortable dress ever! Perfect for dancing the night away !

I wore this to an indoor/outdoor wedding. I wasn't able to wear a bra with it bc it looked too bulky and was form fitting for me, but it worked out just fine (and I have never gone bra-less!) it ties around the neck so I felt pretty comfortable. I was worried the tulle was going to be itchy but it wasn't at all. I received so many compliments and then later texts after pictures went up on Facebook! Id def buy this dress!

This dress is an easy and perfect choice for any formal party or event coming up!

The dress was pretty true to size except for being a little tight in the bodice. It wasn't much of an issue for me, but if you have broad shoulders or a wider frame I would definitely consider sizing up. The fabric was lovely but there was a lot of it, so I would keep that in mind. All things aside, this dress is the PERFECT choice for any formal party and great for dancing!

Fun comfortable and fashionable

I thought it fit great it was a. Nice sturdy dress very well made. I got both size 4 and 6. They both zipped up but the 4, gave me back fat so 6 it was. I was almost gonna get another dress and glad I went with this choice because another girl must of rented the runway cause she was wearing my other choice ..phew that would of been awkward .

Ohh, the compliments

The dress is beautiful and fits really well. I am small on top so the strapless bra I wore was perfect. The material is thick and the lace bottom is exquisite. The only reason I give this dress a 4 star is because there should be slip layer before the tulle. The dress has a navy blue inner layer of tulle and three intermediate layers of beige tulle before the outer crochet fabric. If your standing most of the time this is not a problem but we were at a sit down dinner and sitting for a length of time on the rough tulle was quite uncomfortable.

Wonderful for the wedding!

Got a lot of compliments on this dress. It was loose for me in the bodice. Definitely should have gotten a size 4, but the 6 was doable. Comfortable to be in all night!

Halter Delight

This dress does run small- especially if you don't want to feel like its difficult to breathe. I usually wear a 2 but I liked the fit of the 4. The straps are halter style so you get a custom fit. The dress does flare out slightly which was fun. The toole underneath does get bunched and I felt like I was constantly fixing it, but maybe that's just me! Also the crochete overlay was pretty.

Fancy and Fun!

Rented this dress for a Las Vegas formal event! I choose this short dress because of the fun, full skirt and beautiful navy embroidery as the overlay of the skirt. The bodice is charcoal and I loved the contrast. This dress has some details that make it the perfect dress for a more fancy event. The zipper at the back of the dress shows and is gold. It also runs the length of the dress making it easy to get in and out of. However the bottom of the zipper near the hem, hits your leg while walking and can be irritating. . I ordered both the 4 and 6. I wore the 4 because the 6 skirt proofed out more. Sizing down made the skirt feel less full. There is 3 layers of netting under the lining of the skirt. The neckline is flattering and the ties were comfortable at the back of the neck. The ties did add support to the bodice and you didn't have to worry about the dress slipping down. The bodice is snug so sizing up would help if you don't like feeling squeezed at the waist. I did love the look and length of this dress. It was easy to move in. I got many compliments and one photographer asked me to stop for a photo because he loved the dress. I wore the blue Safire drop earrings from Rent The Runway and they complimented the dress well. I would wear this dress again and would rate it a 4.5 if that was a choice!

Nice, but not show stopping.

I wore this dress to my college fall formal event. The dress was nice, but not my favorite. It made my boobs look way more unwieldy then they have ever been! It also fit a little small. The skirt was much more poofy than shown in the picture. Overall the dress was fine and I did receive some compliments. I will be looking for different styles in the future!

Pretty dress but not for me, bodice too tight!

I rented this dress for my birthday party but ended up not wearing it and using another backup dress. I should start with saying that the navy color is lovely, the detailing on the skirt is beautiful and I really love the idea of the shape of this dress, it just didn't work for me. First off, the bodice was incredibly tight to the point where it was tough to breathe. I think I could have dealt with it if it was for a low activity event but I was planning to go out dancing. I would not recommend this for any ladies with an ample chest. Second, the spot where the skirt meets the bodice didn't quite hit me in the right place. Rather than looking like a cute, flirty skirt, it hit right where my hips start, making my hips look huge! I'm a bit curvy but the skirt made it look like my hips were a mile wide. Perhaps this would be better on someone who has more of a straight an narrow body that wants to look curvier? Finally, the fabric was pretty heavy. This would be good for a fall or winter event, definitely not summer. Overall, I think it's a beautiful dress but just not for every body type.

I got many compliments, but it was probably the most uncomfortable dress I've ever worn

I ordered a size 2 and 4, both fit me. I made the huge mistake of wearing the size 2, even though it "fit" me, it was super uncomfortable. I can't even say it was all due to the size, it was also because the bottom half of the dress is VERY heavy, it put a lot of strain on the halter around my neck holding the dress up. I was constantly pulling the top up, and sitting down was very painful due to the corset digging into me. I'm 5'2 and 115 pounds, a size C cup but still fairly petite, and this dress made me feel very constricted. I would recommend it for girls with a very small bust, my average C cup just felt very awkward with how low the corset fell. Goodluck girls!

Timeless, charming alternative to the LBD

With its classic square neckline and flirty full skirt, this dress was a joy to wear - it looks elegant and actually feels comfortable. (However, you'd better double-knot the halter tie if you're dancing.) The layers of nude netting under the navy lace are a bit sheer, so be mindful when choosing your underthings. I wore the 2 instead of the 4 because I wanted a more snug fit up top.

The detailing is so much fun!!

I wore this for my birthday/Thanksgiving and it was so much fun to wear! The boning, however, was a little constricting by the end of the party, though, it was Thanksgiving....

Pretty dress but...

This is a nice dress but unfortunately was not appropriate for the event. It has a corset like effect & really pushes up your bust. If you're looking to accentuate this part of your body...then this a good dress for that.

Not good for short, curvy ladies

Had this dress in the 6 and 8 overnighted to me for a wedding after my first choice dress was damaged by a previous customer. I was hoping for a retro look (fitted bodice, full skirt) but this dress just didn't look good on a short, curvy girl like myself. The bodice fit nicely but the skirt was just way too puffy with its multiple layers of tulle. The skirt also seemed to puff out right at my hips rather than at my waist, so rather than giving me the impression of an hourglass figure, it made me look and feel extra wide at the hips. It's still a pretty dress so maybe it would work better on someone that's tall and/or thin.

When this didn't fit, RTR was so accommodating in getting me a new dress

Those with a bust need not apply. I rented a different style, size 8, dress which fit perfectly. The zipper went up to waist, then was about 4 inches apart, no where even near zipping over my chest. I do have a wide rib cage, but this was no where near fitting. Also, the tulle on the 10 had been dry cleaned tucked into the bodice, so when i pulled it out, it appeared to orbit the rest of body. Basically, pretty on the hanger, but impossible fit for a full chest.

Couldn't wear it

The neck straps are too long/not sufficiently adjustable to hold up the front of the dress (and my girls...). The skirt is extremely puffy... I'm already a curvy gal, especially at the hips, and I was afraid in this dress I wouldn't fit through the door! I have a short torso already, but the skirt puff started so high at the waist that it looked like a maternity dress on me. Sigh...
