This dress was perfect for a black tie event. The material is soft and silky, with a liner in the skirt to help hide bumps. I’m 5’10”, 150 pounds and the regular large was almost perfect. It was a little loose on the top, but a couple hidden safety pins did the trick.

I want to rent this again but need a small instead of a medium! I'm 5'10 and 140 and always wear mediums or large (34DDD) but for this one it was very loose in the hips and chest and needed a size down. I'm Usually a size 4-6 for reference.

The dress was super comfortable and easy to wear. It creates a nice drape for smaller busts but can see where it would be great for a chestier figurer, too. A great twist on a classic silhouette!

Perfect fit for me. I usually wear a size 8-10 and I'm almost 5'6" and the MR fit perfectly. The dress was comfortable and easy to dance in.

This dress was very beautiful in person and the cut flattered me well. I have a straight/athletic body type, but it made me look hourglass! The waist has no stretch and is pretty tight, so definitely google the designer's size chart and I recommend ordering up for your backup size.

Great dress, comfortable, doesn't wrinkle, very affordable (I bought it when they marked it down to $58). I did alter the slit to about 1 inch lower than what it was.

4 stars only because it needed a bit of fashion tape assistance - which unfortunately I didn't get in time - but this dress was really fantastic. I'm in between sizes at the moment and also 5'5" with a short torso and the MR was the perfect length with reasonable heels (no crazy stilettos here). It fit well in the bust too - 34D - and again, had I listened to other reviews and gotten the fashion tape sooner I'd have been even more comfortable but overall stunning dress. Highly recommend!

Fit perfect in hips and length. Chest was slightly too big so I used a safety pin to ensure it stayed closed more. Worked perfectly. Normally I’m size 4, but 6 weeks postpartum I was more size 6. This dress was perfect for larger bust.

The top initially seemed too loose but I think it's meant to drape slightly. Overall I was happy with the rest of the fit.

The fit was amazing. I felt comfortable all night and never had to tug, pull, or rearrange anything. Got a lot of compliments. The fabric is thick enough to hide any body imperfections. Loved this dress!

Loved this dress! It has an old Hollywood glam to it while still feeling modern. The navy is beautiful! Fit: This dress fit me like a glove! However, I do have a large chest for my body size so it's possible that the top would be a little big on someone with a small chest. The diagonals across the stomach are really flattering. The drape on the top is flattering as well! Does not make you look larger. The slit is lovely when standing, need to watch yourself when you sit down, though.

I wore this for a black tie optional NYE wedding and loved every minute! I am usually a size 10, but wore a M, so I think it runs large, but it did hug my curves in a way that I loved! The detail around the stomach helps keep everything in and the neckline is super tasteful. Loved the high slit for a little more room when we were on the dance floor!

I wore this dress for a black tie wedding in Chicago at the end of March. It was comfortable and easy to wear. The color is beautiful and the slit gives the dress enough detail to add some flair. Highly recommend and would rent this dress again.

Fits perfectly in the bodice but a little long in the skirt for a 5'3" frame unless you wear a 3-4 inch heel. The tailoring and style are impeccable! So beautiful and would wear again in a heartbeat for a formal affair!

I rented this dress for a wedding. I saw other reviews mention a deep neckline and I think I lucked out getting one that had the neckline pinned already. The dress was a little bulky but the material and fit were gorgeous. Would recommend a statement piece of jewelry/shoes.

Wore this to a Christmas formal. The dress is lovely and feels silky against the skin. I'm 5' 3" and the only issue for me was the way it draped -- I had to pin the shoulders to raise the fabric to the appropriate length for my torso. Would rent again!

Loved this dress. The color is great and the fabric very flattering. Wore it to Valentines dinner and felt so fancy. I couldn't wear a bra, but didn't feel very exposed as the dress was secure (no need for double stick tape. I am a 34 B). I did however, wear pasties over my nipples to stay slightly more modest.

The top is definitely a bit low and opens easily. A little fashion tape would have made me feel more comfortable but once I had it on few an hour I stopped noticing. I got so many compliments on the dress and it was so comfortable and chic that I'd definitely wear it again!

It's a rich navy blue and flows nicely. The size was too big for me.

Attended a colleagues wedding and this dress was perfect. Baby is 5 months so I'm extra soft in the tummy and the angled pleating helped to show my hourglass figure still. I did pin the top to keep my bra hidden, but even with that I was able to slip one shoulder off and nurse in comfort multiple times. The slit was a nice sexy added touch. I received several compliments and it was perfect for the event. Overall I looked and felt great, not like a frumpy mom, but a real grown up woman who is put together even with 3 kids in tow. Love, I'd buy this if I had more dressy functions to attend.

I didn't end up wearing this dress for my event, I got it as a back up. But, had I not liked my first choice this would have been a great dress to wear. The dress fit wonderfully and the fabric is soft and silky. I'm rather busty (34DDD) so the top fit well. If you aren't on the busty side it might be rather loose. I felt a little matronly in it (I'm 29), but I didn't feel exposed either which was nice. Overall, it's a great option.

The dress looks much better on than it does in photos, loved the skirt and the length was perfect, but found the top much too large - could have shortened it at the top seams by a good inch. I really liked the materiel and felt it draped well.

Rented this for a wedding and ended up not wearing it. It was fine; it's a nice color and material. The slit is flattering, the draping at the bust less so. Length was good. It ran a little large and overall just didn't look as put together as I wanted.

Unfortunately, it was too big and unflattering.

The bottom portion fit. However the top portion is meant for larger chested women. Dress has the look of a bridesmaid dress sadly.

the dress is form fitting at the waist down, and more blouse-y and looser on the top. The dress in general ran true to size, however, one portion of the top half of the dress seemed like it belonged to a larger dress... Specifically, the top of the dress is almost the style of a "wrap" dress, where one side crosses over the other to make a v-neck. One side fit tight and did not hang at all, but the other side drooped down past the waistline of the gown or almost like they accidentally attached one "boob" piece of a size M or L to the other XS pieces of the dress. It would have been fine if both sides fit the same (I have worn dresses where both pieces of the bodice kind of hang down, almost like a very loosely tucked in tshirt, and that style is great). this honestly may have just been a defect with this specific dress in this size, because none of the other reviews mention it. still would recommend the dress to people who are not ordering a XS, because it is gorgeous!
