I loved the dress! I wore it to an award ceremony following my husband's golf tournament. It was a perfect dress to look classy, but not way too over done. It fit comfortably, but was still flattering to my waist (made me look smaller than I feel, but wasn't tight so I wasn't constantly feeling the need to suck in....girl's best friend.)

I wanted to keep this dress! I often find myself between a 6 & an 8. I could have gone either way. So comfortable and classy. Wore this to a work dinner with my husband. It's really cold here so I added black tights and the look still worked. I suggest this dress if you want to dress up without being over the top. The slit was a nice touch but they kept it classy.

Great fit...not a lot of stretch, but runs true to size. I'm top heavy so i was happy that it camouflaged my bust area. Loved the subtle detail at the top!

Was very torn between the S and M and im so glad i got the medium! It was extremely flattering and looked great at work. I have big hips and this gave me an hourglass appearance. It also covers the stomach area well, but not compltely. If you have hips, size up!

Loved this dress! The cutout border at the top really set this shift dress apart from the rest. The waist was tailored to perfection and the quality of material was so elegant. I hosted thanksgiving and the higher waist made it easy to stuff myself on turkey. Im a little on the waify side and this neckline and silhouette really worked for me. Loved this dress and would wear it to work too! Modest and elegant

I rented this for a baby shower although I could see it as something you could wear to work. The dress is good structure and is made well. I felt like it was a little plain so I paired it with a belt.

I felt so comfortable in this dress all night. It was perfect for a seaside wedding in September. I got tons of compliments. If I could buy this dress I would!

Formal and fun, slit up the front made it fun but still comfortable. Hugs in all the right places. I did have trouble with the right zip- hard to get on and off ! Worth it though.

It's a form fitting but the material doesn't have much stretch. If you're curvy this is actually a benefit as it helps to hold you in . The top lacy part is sexy but tasteful , the waist is defined and the slit in the front sets it all off. I received a lot of compliments.

I felt like this dress was a little big through the hips but overall true to size! I received compliments on the dress. I loved the cutout detail - which lays beautifully. You can wear with a regular nude bra - the cutout detailing hides the strap well.

Loved this! The navy color is beautiful, the lace panel and front slit and fun/sassy details. I wore this to a work dinner and paired it with strappy nude heels. The top was roomy and the skirt was a little snug on my curvy bottom. I was surprised at the limited arm movement -- but it wasn't major enough for me not to wear the dress. As other reviewers have noted, there is limited stretch to this one. It's unique and beautiful -- definitely would recommend!!

This dress is great for work. I really like the silhouette. The top is a bit blousy and the bottom is fitted but professional. I'm a 34DD and the top fit really well. This dress is definitely true to size.

Overall, I really enjoyed my first rental from RTR. It was very fitted, but I liked the details of the neckline. The waist area was very fitted, but it was an outstanding dress. What I didn't enjoy was that on me, the slit was more centered rather than to one side. I would have preferred it to the side.

Loved the detail in the neckline and the cut is super flattering at the waist. I've got wide hips for my height and it was a really great cut. A little tight around my thighs - the slit pulled a bit when I sat down - but was still really comfortable and great looking!

Good for work. Classy and work appropriate. But it's very loose on the top. I think it's supposed to be bloused at the top so that it looks like a blouse tucked into a pencil skirt but it almost looks like your boobs don't fill it out instead so you have to work with it a bit. Overall very cute and perfect for work.

It fit really well. Wore with high heels with a fun pattern to mix it up. It's all navy blue. I think this works well for bust and butt when you have a waist because it kinda cinches you in the middle, so very flattering.

I loved this dress and got many compliments. It is a tiny bit snug in the ribcage but I wanted to wear the S for the shorter length. It was classy, beautiful, and I wore it with a pop of color on my shoes. I wore a strapless bra so that straps didn't show at the top. The slit in the front gives a bit of sass but not too much. The dress is all navy blue, at least on my computer screen it appeared darker on the top part of the dress, it is not. Great dress, I would rent again.

I enjoyed this so much I bought it! Its ripped in the middle at the knees since, but an easy sewing job. You have to wear a strapless bra with it.

I am petite and this dress fit me just as it looks on the model in the RnR photo. Great navy color for fall - work to work on a Friday and to a birthday party afterwards. Would highly recommend!

The fit was great. Form-fitting at the waist, and very flattering. I will say, as a shorter girl, heels are necessary to get the benefit of the proportions of this dress. Since it is below the knee, heels just give you that length that petite girls need. Then you can strut your stuff like you just came off the set of Suits.

This dress was worn to a high profile work event at which I had to speak, move around a large room working crowd and had three different camera angles on me. I felt amazing and never got as many compliments as I did that day. I love Navy dresses and have rented a few from RTR. This one stands out as the sleeves are different and flattering. Front slit is enough sexy appeal without being crass. The detail across chest and arms is perfect. Would BUY this dress.

Fit really well! Fits true to size. The slit goes a bit high when sitting down for a more formal or conservative affair, but loved the fit overall and the tasteful detailing on neckline and sleeves. Lots of compliments!

I wore this to a formal wedding in November and loved it. The sleeves added warmth but the cutouts and slit added a glam factor. As other reviewers noted, the slit is a bit sexy so I wouldn't recommend for professional events. I added a long necklace and sparkly pointed toe pumps and felt very Joan Harris (from Mad Men).

I loved this dress! I wore this to work and then to dinner for my birthday! The slit was definitely a little higher than I thought so I paired the dress with black panty hose and boots. It was perfect and I received many compliments from co-workers and at dinner with my friends!

Everything about this dress was perfect. It was incredibly flattering and also incredibly comfortable. I'd buy this dress in a heartbeat.
