The fabric and covered button sleeve detailing make this top look rich. The back is completely open so you will need to wear a camisole underneath. The length is definitely on the shorter side. I wore it during Valentine's week and it was perfect!

Back is very open but I wore it with a pretty bra. As in the picture top is a bit of a looser fit. The clasp at the beck was a bit tricky. This is a top you want to wear more standing up bc seated the bow in back becomes uncomfortable. Pretty top though

Loved this velvet top for a belated Valentine's Day celebration with my fiancé! Didn't get any photos of the back but it was so sexy especially with a bra with fun details. Definitely cropped fit on me and I'm short so just be aware of that.

Was very comfortable and soft. Loved the fit and the rich burgundy color. The back is very open so I wore a tank top underneath during the day and then changed into a bra top for date night. Love that it can be dressed up or down. It is cropped but worked fine with higher rise jeans. I almost bought it and will probably rent again.

I love the thick, luxe velvet fabric. The cuffs are also big and beautiful with eight velvet buttons on each side. It feels very expensive. I did have to think about how to style this item though because it's a bit cropped and the back is open. It's held together but one hook at the neckline and a tie at the bottom. I easily overcame those challenges with a simple black cami and a cute high-waisted skirt. I am wearing it to the office but this could work for a more formal occasion or a night out. Totally worth renting!

I love velvet so much that I was considering buying this shirt ... until I wore it for the day. The fabric is beautiful and comfortable. The problem is the clasp at the back. The back of the shirt is held closed by a small clasp at the nape of the neck and a tie at the bottom. The rest is open. The clasp is not stable AT ALL. If I reached down to do anything, it would come undone and the entire shirt back would open. Not functional unfortunately!

Loved this too so much. The velvet is so soft, the detailed on the wrist and the slightly open back, really adds a touch of subtle elegance and fun. The only set back was the top is definitely on the shorter side and if you don't want your mid drift showing you need high waisted pants, skirt or a long low back dress.

The description doesn't mention that it's an open back. While I loved the look and fit (and the bow in the back!), it wasn't appropriate for the event I'd hoped to wear it to.

The fabric color and texture were beautiful- very luxe - and I loved the open back and tie BUT the clasp at the top would not stay closed. I kept trying to get ready/do my hair/etc with it on and it kept flopping open and falling forward. It was also short - and that is coming from someone super short waisted. I had such high hopes.

I got the L even though I typically wear a medium and sometimes a large. The back is open so the bra shows, and it's very short. I have a larger bust so the L fit the arms and shoulders and bust but was huge at the waist even after it was tied. It's a very deep burgundy rich thick velvet which was gorgeous but I couldn't find anything high waisted enough to wear with this length. It's very much a crop top.

The color is gorgeous, but the sleeves are all wrong for a short person. They were too long and too puffy. The back opening is also much wider then it shows in the picture.

The shirt was great, I loved it. It ran slightly big, but as I already prefer loose tops it worked perfectly for me.

I loved this top and will likely rent again - though I did not realize that the back is completely open when I rented. I had originally thought I'd wear it to work but instead wore it to the World Series parade on a fall day - it was perfect for cooler weather. The velvet kept me warm, but the open back kept it a bit cool. Definitely not a summer top, but great for fall!

I wore a cami under for a little more modesty with the open back at a 40th anniversary dinner. It was perfect, beautiful fall color just very short if you happen to have a long torso so keep in mind. Bow on the back and sleeves with buttons are beautiful details.

I thought I should size up on this one but I was wrong ... the waist was so large that I couldn't properly tie it in the back. It's a gorgeous shirt though ... nice velvet with pretty button detail on the cuffs. Might try again in a S.

I rented this for the holiday season wasn't sure if I would wear it causally to a Christmas social gathering or what but it's super cute. The sleeve around the wrist area is a little big and I wish the ties in the back weren't so thick but super cute over all. Works well with jeans and booties or slacks with heels.

Rented this for an audition. Loved the colour and feel of the fabric! The sleeves were long enough for me and the buttons along the cuff were a great detail. Only thing would be: I don't have a very long torso and this still sat right at my belly button. A bit more like a crop than most would be comfortable with, especially with the open back. A high-waist pant is a must and even then, lifting my arms it creeped up. Would rent again.

Sleeves were a little long but I could roll them underneath. The back is open which I didn’t read it I wore a bodysuit. It was cute.

Could not figure out how to wear this. It's velvet and dark which says winter to me, but the entire back is open. I tried it with a lace bra but it looked strange. It's beautiful fabric but kind of wish it was just closed in the back.

The red velvet is gorgeous on this top, and I really loved the way it looked from the front. The back is almost completely open though so it would not be appropriate for certain settings. It was a challenge to style -- a tank top or bralette didn't look great from the back so I went sans bra, which may not work for larger chests. Also note that it closer to a crop top, so you may have extra tummy exposure when you lift your arms.
