A very delicate dress reminiscent of butterfly wings. Since I don't often wear wrap dresses, it took a little study before I figured out where things went on the dress. Some prior poster suggested wearing something underneath, and I added a black camisole to guard against inadvertent exposure. If you have sensitive skin, you may notice the tinsel-like quality rubbing against you, but it didn't bother me. Since it is short and thin, I was concerned about getting chilly, but it didn't make a difference at an indoor party. (You DO notice once you are outside on a cold night.) I initially felt like I was putting on a thin spa robe at a Japanese spa; however, once it settled on my frame, it did a good job of obscuring insecurities I have about my midsection and upper arms while still looking formal and festive.

I rented this for our Anniversary, dinner n dancing. I got so many compliments on this dress. Wearing it, I felt so graceful and attractive. The shiny blue and black strands that make this dress pop are a bit itchy on the back. the front and the bottom have a thin black gauze type of material between you and the material. This dress was perfect for the occasion. I'm not busty so I put a couple of small strips of double-sided tape on the bust line to keep it in place and found that putting the bow in the back was most comfortable for me. I was comfortable eating without worrying about how I looked and I danced all nite long. I can’t wait to rent another dress from RTR.

Arrived at hotel in Boston the day of my arrival. Planned to wear to 1920s dinner event, but I felt to casual. Ended up wearing the next day while checking out Boston. Very comfortable, added tank & leggings underneath. Would rent again to wear to a daytime event. ;)

The dress fit me well (even with baby weight I haven't lost yet), but it was large on top. The dress is beautiful for sure. I wish I had something to wear underneath as the glitter strands are a tad itchy. Don't let that convince you not to get this dress, just have something to wear underneath the top (the bottom and bra coverage have a slip on top.

The material that has the metalic running through it was a bit sractchy, but my boyfriend loved how it looked on me. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the event.

The dress worked very well for a 4:00pm wedding that I had last weekend. The wedding was in Chicago so I put black tights on underneath. The size 4 was a little big in the bust area, but not enough to make a difference. I was able to dance and move all night.

Ordered as a back-up and didn't wear it to my event. This dress is perfect for a party or cocktail affair. It is flirty without being too young. It was a wee bit big on me, and if I ordered again I would go for a size smaller. However, the leg length was perfect. If you are long waisted, big breasted, or petite, I believe this dress probably fits true to size. Might want to consult before ordering. Charming and feminine.

The fit is flattering and the dress was very light, but I have very sensitive skin and the sequins were itchy.

I wore this dress to a wedding shower and loved it! It had a beautiful drape and was perfect for the occasion. It did run rather small on me in the bust, so while both sizes fit, I opted for the size four. For me, the key to a perfect fit was the fashion tape RTR sent along with the dress. I loved wearing this dress.

Wore this dress to a work function. It is very pretty. Their is a lovely shiny blue striping through the dress. This dress is perfect for a function that requires you to be a bit more conservative. Extremely comfortable and flattering. Very pretty and feminine.

The metallic blue in this dress was a bit shinier than I expected, and also led to the fabric being a bit itchy. This dress is *very* gauzy and I ended up wearing it with a black velvet tank/cami and black tights. The 6 fit true to size and the length & style were perfect for a work-related event.

I rented this to wear at my birthday party, but it just wasn't right - what the RTR photo doesn't really show is that there are two pieces that wrap around your front to tie, which can leave a strip of belly skin exposed unless you don't really move while you wear the dress. The fabric was also a little rough, although the metallic threads are beautiful in person. But if you're conscious of your belly at all, this might not be the best choice...it wasn't for me.
