I wore this for a photo invitational my husband was in and then for a date night the next night. I had actually gotten two dresses but loved this so much I wore it both nights instead!

I wore this dress for a gala, and I loved it. I heard the dress runs a little large, so I tried for the 8 but it was unavailable. I ended up wearing the 6 over the 10 because I liked the neckline better and it ended up looking really sleek - it photographs well and it was fun to dance in. It does get a bit hot but that depends on how much you dance in it. I didn't mind the sheer back and just wore a normal black bra with it. It is short, so if you're nervous, go with tights. Over all a win.

This dress was not my original pick but it really worked out well! It has enough sparkle for night but a cut that works for day as well, I'm really happy with how it worked out. I got a ton of compliments on it and it photographs well too. It runs a little bit big but not a lot. If you order your size and down one for a back up, you should be all set :)

This dress does run large. I am usually a size 6, the 4 was perfect. I liked this dress because it is a little sexy, but isn't super-tight. It is very comfortable especially when going out for a big meal! I got some nice compliments, and shared my rent the runway secret with my friends!

This dress was absolutely perfect for a night out! The colors were more vibrant in person. I can see how the waist fits tight on the rib cage, but I still wore the size down and was very comfortable. Tights and tall shoes during a February trip and this dress turned heads.

I ordered size 10 and 12 - chose to wear the 10. I thought the top was a little too full, and I felt very busty, but other than that is was great. Lots of compliments.

Fit loose in the bust and skirt but fitted in the waist. A little short on me, I'm 6' tall, but dark tights saved the day. The keyhole in the back was a little tricky with my bra. I wore the dress to my sorority formal and received a ton of compliments. RTR was so slick and convenient!

I wore this dress to my cousin's wedding at a romantic historic inn in Pennsylvania. It is just an amazing dress! I did not want to return it and people kept asking me if I or they could buy it. The best thing about it is the comfort and effortless elegance of the dress. You will be the hit of the party and it feels comfortable enough to wear any day! It is surprisingly versatile, could go from black tie to garden party, to night on the town in a heartbeat. I also rented the necklace from RTR which just pulled everything together perfectly. I would rent this dress again!

I wore this to my friend's wedding and I loved it! I got a lot of compliments on it, including from people I didn't know. It's really comfortable too...I sat in it comfortably for a four-hour car ride. The back is sheer, but I wore a black cami under it and it just looked like a sheath underneath the dress. My only issues with it were that the top was a little big and the waist band part of it kept riding up, so I had to keep pulling it down, but overall it's a great dress! This was my first experience with RTR and I'll definitely be back!

I loved this dress! The fit was a little big, and I should have gotten a smaller second size as opposed to a larger one. But it was flowy and fun, and I got tons of compliments. Paired it with black pumps and black and gold feather earrings. Top part of the back is sheer, just be forewarned! Overall very pleased, a pretty, comfortable, fabulous dress!

I took note from others and ordered my usual size and one down. I wore the smaller size, 4. Very very rarely do I fit a 4. The empire seam made my bust look a little strange, like my boobs were propped up. The back has a small key hole detail that just looks like you didn't zip up the dress all the way. The print is lovely, but it's starting to get loose threads. Best part of this dress is that it can be casual or formal, and can be worn year round with sandals, or with tights.

I ordered this dress for my daughter's Senior Choral Banquet and didn't end up wearing it because of the strange fit below my neck. I am a size 4-6 depending on designer. This dress fit perfectly everywhere else, but it seemed like there was too much fabric below the neck. An entire section laid very strangely. I tried 4 different types of bras with it and even tried it bra-less. Nothing worked so my daughter wore it the following day to her Senior Recital. The area below her neck looked better than it did on me, but it didn't feel like it was laying exactly as it should. She received tons on compliments though, so the dress was a hit. It seems it would fit a variety of body types well. Only complaint was the neck/chest area.

Very lightweight. If you are busty your girls will be presented on a "shelf". Hard to tell in the picture. A little odd but I wore the dress anyway. Made my waist look small.

The dress is gorgeous and definitely runs a little large. The 8 fit better, but as a larger busted girl I couldn't hide my bra as well with the sheer back and keyhole opening. A backless bra would be better for this dress. Overall I don't think this worked as well on my body type, short and very hourglass. It was cute and I got compliments but I would probably pick a different dress type next time. The ease of renting was amazing! Came in great condition and the descriptions helped a ton! I loved being able to feel special at my event and then just dropping the dresses in the mail when done helped my luggage on the way back too! I will definitely look to RTR again for my next big event!

The dress ran a little small, so I am very pleased I got the back up size. The dress was very comfortable and beautiful. I got so many compliments. This was my first time renting with Rent the Runway, and it could not have been more simple. I rented last minute, the dress showed up on time, and was so easy to return! Rent the Runway just snagged a lifetime customer!

The fit on this was great! Because of the pattern you could pair any shoe with it and it worked. I chose black scrappy heels for the baby shower I wore this too. Love RTR!

The 6 ran big as others described, but the cut was still flattering. So comfortable, great length, perfect if you want a touch of metallic and don't feel like showing too much skin.

I picked to wear this dress for my friend's bridal shower. Since it only ended up being around 40 degrees that day, I wore it with a black cardigan, black tights, and gold jewelry. It was perfect for the occasion! I got tons of compliments from everyone, and it's even more pretty in person. I am usually a size 8 or 10, but this dress was only available in a 6 or 10 to rent for the day I needed it. Since I read the reviews that said it ran big, I went with just the 6 and hoped for the best. It was slightly snug around the middle waist section, but not overly uncomfortable. I am an average 36C, and because of the fitted waist and extra fabric in the top, the dress made my chest look huge. The only part that was slightly annoying was that the very top of the dress didn't lay flat for some reason. I wanted to constantly adjust it, but there was nothing I could do about it, so I gave up. Also, little pieces of the gold thread were sticking out throughout the dress. Those little things aside, I would recommend this dress!

The fabric is so beautiful wish I could have worn it but being busty the 0 did not work. The black area which is supposed to under the bust was half way over my bust, not a good look. Would rent again but only the 2.

Fit true to size. Fitted in waist, loose through thighs. Slightly fitted through bust. The size 12 fit me perfectly! Wore a black bra and black tights underneath. Really was happy with this dress.

Lots of room in the top and skirt, the waist cinches in nicely. It was a very flattering dress. I might have gotten away with a six but the 8 looked good. Overall I'd say I loved the dress and got many compliments to it. I wore it to a fancy BBQ with tights and booties and it was fab!

I am 140lbs, 5' 5" and wore the size 10 in this dress with opaque tights and 5 inch pumps and it looked amazing. Very flattering and easy to wear. A couple of the gold threads looked to be starting to pull in various spots on the dress, but it was really not very noticeable.

Wore this to a Bar Mitzvah today. Was stunning and light as a feather. The dress looks so great on...don't let it fool you on the hanger. I usually wear petite cuts but this hit me above the knee. The fabric is gorgeous. Wore it with a nude stocking and high black patent pumps. Felt so good didn't want to take it off! So much fun. My first rental with RTR. Renting different dresses for a wedding in a couple of weeks...cannot wait!

I ordered both the 2 and 4. This dress is very generous in fit. I wore it with black leggings and heels to dress it down a bit. I received so many compliments. The fabric is just beautiful. First time using Rent the Runway and my experience was perfection!

Nice fit, but went out on a limb and skipped the bra, not a great idea due to empire style...I'm almost 50 so my girls kinda drooped a hair, but got lots of compliments still! LOL
