I just had my baby 3 days before wearing this on NYE and I felt like a million bucks in it! Comfortable, flattering, easily fit over my belly (which now looks like a 5 month bump). I would highly recommend this for maternity wear or post-partum!

I loved this dress. I rented it for Valentine's Day and ended up wearing it to work the next day as well. I loved the fit, loved how it made me feel. The button kept popping open and the shoulders/arms were a little tight but I was still able to wear it without a problem -- might be an issue for my larger-chested sisters, though. Highly recommended!

I received so many compliments on this dress. It's super comfortable and chic. I wore it to a wedding and dressed it up, but this can definitely be dressed down as well. It looked expensive. Will rent again!

The back hook-and-eye on my dress was bent open and didn't want to stay closed throughout the day. This caused the front to pop open as the weight of the dress pulled down across the chest when it wasn't hanging properly from the shoulders. Despite this, I loved the look and feel (super soft, almost silky) of this dress. At 5'4" the dress was not too long with heels.

I wore this for a work event. I absolutely loved it. I received many compliments. It was VERY comfortable. I was able to dress it up with some funky heels, which really made the dress looks chic. Def recommend, I would purchase it as a perfect LBD if I could!

I absolutely loved this dress. The fit in the waist is so flattering and I just loved the cut of this dress. I got a ton of compliments! It does run a bit small for my shape in the arms and bust. The arms were definitely snug and I couldn't button the bust, but it looked so nice on my that I didn't care.

Classy, black dress. I am 5'4" and needed to wear heels with it. Bust felt a little tight. The button popped open a few times but I had worn a layer under. Overall, happy with the dress.

I'm a lawyer, and when I found out I was a finalist for a prestigious industry award, I had absolutely no idea what to wear to the formal awards dinner. While dressing for professional events would not normally be a problem, I was newly pregnant with a bump that was small but definitely visible (especially in my closet full of cinched-waist dresses), and I had not yet told my boss or other higher-ups who would also be attending the event to support me. This dress was classy and comfortable, though it definitely needed a statement necklace for this event. The one thing to note is that the slit in the front goes up quite a bit so you may want to pin it or wear tights if you're at a conservative event -- only really an issue if you're sitting down.

So much extra fabric at the waist - you can see how I can cinch it on one side. Walking will open the slit and come within 2 inches of flashing your nethers to the unforgiving nyc public - wear shorts!

Rented for a wedding. Getting on, the arms were a bit snug but felt fine while wearing. The front snap would bust open every time I would lift my arms so I had to use a safety pin to keep it shut. Other than that the fit was true to size and it was a great dress for a fall wedding. Definitely hides any mid section flaws.

At 5'9" this dress was plenty long for flats or heels, I wore with heels. My problem came in the form of the front button popping open constantly while I was running after the kids at the wedding. Maybe if it was a hook and eye instead it would stay better.... otherwise this was a fully appropriate dress, a larger size might help keep the front from popping open, I'm only a 32C, so not exactly well endowed to make it pop open. Also be ware of the front "wrap" is basically a huge slit, it worked well for constantly being up and down and pick up and putting down a toddler but when trying to crouch or sit on the floor or a low seat it was hard to keep everything covered. Great dress, maybe not most kid friendly.

I rented this for an NYE party because I don't like the normal flashiness of NYE attire. Was totally comfortable all night. I ended up wearing the larger size only because the small snap closure at the bust would not stay shut on the XS (and I have a very small bust). May not work for someone with a larger bust for that reason. Also the back of the dress is fairly long, definitely recommend with heels.

It runs true to size but as others say the top snap does pop open quite easily to the point where I had to safety pin it.

Wore this on a Friday when I had a bday dinner after work -- it is a great day-to-night transition piece. On me (I'm 5'4), the back of the dress was quite close to the ground. The front slit did open fairly wide as I walked to meetings at work, so I had to hold the dress in place as I walked. The snap held the top in place but did bust open a small handful of times (thankfully I was at my desk, not in a meeting!). The dress didn't arrive with the attached belt, so I used my own. Although not see-through, this material is on the thinner/flimsier side. It reminded me of a 70s disco dress! Fun to wear, perfect for my day-to-night Friday, but probably not something I would purchase.

Fit was great. I wore this to a black tie optional Christmas event and felt very comfortable. The waist is elastic and was not too tight. The ability to tie the bow in different spots is a nice touch. Only downside is that the button keeping the wrap of the top together very easily pops open when opening your arms in certain ways. It kept popping open when I was dancing.

I may like it more if I rented one size bigger. The dress is nice but a bit too much like a silk kimono I would wear at home. Not quite right for my work style.

It fits fine, just not very attractive on. The pleats look fine from the front but from the side it bunches. I looked like I had gained 5 pounds instantly. It does not lay nice on the top and you must pin it closed. There was no spring to the elastic and the waist falls and I had to keep tucking and adjusting through the night.

Not my favorite. The wrap aspect was super annoying. Definitely wear a slip, and know that it will be exposed the whole time, both at the neckline and at the skirt when sitting. The neck had a snap sewn on to hold it closed but it draped really weird when it was closed. I wore my own belt, which was cuter than the tie.

The arms were incredibly tight, very restrictive. Also, I understand that I'm well endowed up top, but somehow, around the bust managed to be too tight and too loose at the same time. The fabric was just very unforgiving, no stretch whatsoever. What I did like about the dress was the length and shape of the bottom. It was exactly what I was looking for. If only the top half worked out.

I read the reviews- small arms... but I tried a 2XL and I can wear a size 16 in shirts. So... It looked nice so I gave it a try, and proceeded to get STUCK in it! My forearms barely fit in the upper arms of the top of this dress. I truly believe there was a problem with construction of this dress. I think they put size 8 or 10 sleeves on everything that size and bigger... I mean how else would this happen with a 2XL??

Slightly inappropriate for work due to the way the front of the dress moves when walking or sitting. Would definitely rent again for an event though. The back of the dress almost came down to my feet without heels and that literally never happens -- so might be too long for shorter ladies.

I wore the extra small and it fits true to size. I ordered the small as a back up dress and didn't see the need to even try it on as the extra small fit perfect. I received several compliments on the dress which made me feel great. I did have to use a pin in the chest area. It had a deep neckline which I didn't need to show the girls off since it was a family wedding. That was a easy fix. The dress has a high slit on the right side. When walking you need to use caution that you don't show your underwear off and be careful when crossing your legs while sitting. Overall, it was a great dress!

I needed a formal dress that would be forgiving on my six month postpartum body. This dress was SO comfortable and pretty! It does need Hollywood tape to keep the top closed, but I felt sexy and comfortable all night. Tip - spend time getting the top pinned closed before the night you need to wear it! Highly recommend this dress!

Fit was perfect. Ran a little long - I wore a size small and am 5'3". Wore it with colorful patterned heels to dress it up and it was perfect. Needed a small safety pin to keep the neckline together but other than that, great quality.

I sadly didn't get any photos in this dress but I wore it for a wedding rehearsal. It was perfect, the length was perfect for heels. The downside was the button on the top, luckily my uber driver gave me a safety pin before we got to the venue. The button is not strong at all, but just pin it together and you'll be fine. I would def buy this dress if it even went on sale!
