This dress was very comfortable, true to size and breathable! It accentuated the right parts of my body and I got a lot of compliments! I paired it with a rose gold strap sandal heel! If you want to show off your legs but still look/feel classic you need this dress!

Both the medium and small fit, but the small fit better on top and there was enough stretch in the material that I ended up wearing the small. The sleeves were not 3/4 length, they were definitely long and reached to my wrists- the only thing I would have liked better is if the sleeves were tighter around the wrists but in the end I mostly wore them pushed up to my elbows. Lovely plum color and the dress hit just above my knees. Overall conservative enough for my work event while still really fun, got me a lot of compliments.

Wore this to the BF's law school fall formal and was perfectly in line with the "business casual/cocktail" dress code. Loved the color, the length was perfect (always a gamble with online dresses!), and the slit at the waist was a fun twist that got two thumbs up from my date. There was no bunching or riding up from dinner thru dancing, and you can totally wear a regular bra!

I was really happy with this dress. The fabric has some stretch to it, so it was actually pretty comfortable! I felt like I was free to move in it, especially in the arm/armpit area. Another plus- it was long enough on me! It didn't ride up either.

Dress fit like a dream and was soo happy I chose this dress! I was able to wear it to two different events, one was a semi formal at university and one was a fancy holiday party with 100+ guests. This dress can be dressed up or down and looks perfect in any setting. Once again rent the runway amazes!

The cut-out accents were super perfect, in just the right spot to be sexy. Beautiful plum color. Wanted to buy this dress.

Went to a wedding with a bunch of people I haven't seen since high school, and this dress made every worry about what I looked like disappear. This dress was the perfect combination between conservative and sexy. Long sleeves, proper length, and high neck combined with material that hugged my curves and a peekaboo back. I was also worried because I have a small waist and big butt/wide hips, but the material was thick AND stretchy. I forgot to pack my spanx, but everything was held in tightly. As for the company, everything was sent in great packaging and arrived perfectly. I can't recognize this company enough!!

I love this little dress. It is firm fitting. You will need to wear seamless under garments. I didn't have any issues. The material was perfect for a mild November night in North Carolina.

This dress was comfortable and very flattering. I thought I would be super warm, but the fabric was breathable (phew!). I wished I sized up, since it was a work fundraiser, so it was a tad tight, but the long sleeves and knee-length (I am short) made it more conservative.

Loved loved loved wearing this dress! I chaperoned a homecoming dance with some teacher friends and this dress was the perfect choice. The fabric was a nice light/medium weight with a bit of stretch and it didn't feel too hot when standing next to a very warm dancefloor. I loved the deep plum color - perfect for fall. Customer service gets 5 stars on this one too: half of the hem was dropped on the first xs I received so I called and they were able to ship me another in time for my event! Bravo! 😁

My husband loves a low cut dress. So, I was a little nervous to rent something so... not revealing. However, he absolutely loved it and so did I. I wore it to a matinee of Hamilton and then out to dinner later that evening. It can be dressed up or down. The color is stunning. Purple is my favorite color and it's gorgeous. Could not wear under garments, sadly. But, still... it drew so much attention. My husband said.. you know how I know that's a good dress? I said.. why ?... because literally every single guy has looked at you.. do you a favor and rent this masterpiece!!

The fabric feels great and the dress was surprisingly comfortable in its close fit. I liked the slits in theory, but for me, they tended to cut me in half. With that and the color not being my best shade, I didn't feel that I looked special in it. (That's one of my rules -- an outfit has to make me feel special.) However, the color is exactly the plum that is in style and looks great on a lot of women. I think I could have done it with a black one-piece underneath, and a black necklace or scarf, but that seemed like more work than I cared for. I do recommend trying this dress; if you are curvier than I am in the waist, or maybe have a longer waist, it would look and feel really nice.

The fit is comfortable and is true to size. This can be worn with any bra and the length hits mid-thigh on me. If anything I would recommend sizing up but it's not necessary.

I was a little surprised that the XS was way too tight on me as I am usually a 0/XS. But it was too short and way too tight. Definitely runs small. The Small however did fit great. I felt comfortable and a little sexy at the same time. Wore to a Birthday party. Boyfriend loved it.

The M fit but i felt more comfortable in the large. The dress was very comfortable and it was a unique design. Flattering.

Originally I ordered the XS but the dress was a bit too tight in not the most flattering places. I ordered a small as my backup size which fit better and made me more comfortable. Received many compliments and the cut outs made it unique!

This was a great dress for an outdoor event in the upper 60s. There is a lot of stretch and the plum color looked great!. The cut outs were edgy and it was very comfortable. I could move in it without restriction. I ordered a small but a XS would have been better. I enjoyed wearing this piece.

I rented this as my backup for a rehearsal dinner and loved it so much I decided to wear it. I kept my coat on in the church, as it is definitely a little too sexy for rehearsing the ceremony, but it was great for dinner. The color was perfect for fall. I agree with what all the other reviewers are saying... it should be thicker. Every single line can be seen so undergarments will need to be picked out very purposefully. I was annoyed though with the hanger straps. Since this is a rented dress, I couldn't cut them, but the lines from those straps can be seen and bunch up so matter how many times your straighten them out.

This dress is definitely form fitting, seamless or no underwear is a must. The top was a little hard to get into for me, but not impossible. If you're short, you'll probably need to fold up the sleeves, but it worked for me!

Dress for true to size and the color was perfect. The only thing I didn't like about this dress was the thickness of the fabric, which was a little too thin for my liking.

Very VERY shortwaisted. I generally wear a size 6, and petites fit better in my upper body. This was way too short on my frame, and wouldn't work well for anyone with a longer torso. Not much stretch, and quality was fine but not great. I didn't wear. My stats: 32c, 29"waist, 38-39" hips

The sleeves are not 3/4. The slits aren't as obvious as they are in the model pictures. It was a nice dress to wear but it fit me a little differently than I was expecting.

I purchased this one and it fit so well. Length was nice and modest but not ho-hum. Fit and slits are just a little bit sexy - in a good way. Thickness of the material is also versatile - think summer use when you know there's ac or breezes, or a good fall and winter dress so you won't be shivering. Ultimately, I've listed it to sell on a reselling site to swap in other dresses, because I don't wear this color as much for dress-up occasions. It's dark royal purple, but its also a bit navy blue-ish if I recall correctly. Oh, and the dress has some stretch though the fabric is also substantial. It's a good confidence piece. Sexy classy length too.

I wore this for a work cocktail party. It wasn’t jersey knot thin, nor was it wool thick. Just perfect on the material. It does show every bump, hem, and/or line. While it’s form fitting, it won’t “hold things in”. The cut out was just sexy enough, and the length and sleeves help tone it down.

It is form fitting, particularly in the booty area. However, the long sleeves and knee-length made it appropriate for a wedding.
