Wintery Fun

I really liked this sweater - I didn't realize it was high cut on the sides but my leggings went up high enough to cover any skin and I was able to wear this to work, otherwise you may need a tank if you were to wear jeans. Nice material and not to thick and turtle neck isn't to 'choky'. Recommend!

Had to do some creative styling

I wanted to love this top, but those big side slits made it fit horribly on my body... but I loved the colors, the neckline, and the material, so I was determined to make it work! I ended up tucking the front piece into my black leggings that have pleather panels on the sides. This, of course, creating some lines that I didn't want. Meaning, you could see the outline of what was tucked in... the leggings were pretty thin fabric. So, I added a pleather mini skirt to hide that and I think it helped complete the look. I added a wide black belt that went under the back panel and on top of the skirt. This ended up being more of an evening look than the daytime thing I rented it for, so the pic I took isn't representative of the final touches I would've done if I would've actually been wearing it somewhere. I'll definitely rent it again for a night out event. It's a great piece!

Gorgeous dramatic top

Super comfortable tunic top. Wore this to work several times. Great day to evening top - went straight out in it and felt fabulous. The side slits were a but high so I wore a tank underneath, but loved it.

Better for 2nd trimester than third in pregnancy

This sweater was an awesome fall pice. In my third trimester, I live in leggings since that is the most comfortable and keeps me cool. I normally wear an XS so I sized up to a small. This sweater went perfectly with a pair of black leggings. I wore this at 34 weeks so the slits on the side were a little wider than I wanted, but I feel like going to a medium would have been too loose. I wore a black came underneath to compensate for the wider slits. Still a great sweater for work or every day.

Stylist Review

After browsing past this a few times on the website, I'm so glad I finally tried it out! It was amazing comfortable and so cute! I think it would look great with leggings or black jeans for work or just everyday! There are slits on the sides, and they came about 2 inches higher than the waistband of my jeans. Overall, this top was very comfortable and so easy to wear. Perfect as an easy, cute outfit!

Different in a (mostly) good way

I rented this for an international trip since it seemed like a versatile piece. I planned to wear it with jeans, black denim and leggings, but in the end always paired it with black denim because the side slits looked awkward with everything else. I wore a black t underneath so I didnt mind the slits, but it would have been more flattering if they started a bit lower. Overall its an interesting top but I dont think I'd rent again.

Cute but fit a little akward

A few surprises on this item. Slits on the sides go above the waist line. The red is a very deep red not bright. The back "panel" didn't lay nicely. Perhaps it was because of my hips and would have laid better if I ordered up a size. I rocked it for a night out with my husband but abandoned the idea of wearing it to work.

Works ok with shirt under - very warm

Thick material and very warm so I was overheating a bit at work wearing it since my office was on the warm side. The slits are high but it works fine with a black tang top underneath. I think it would also be cute with a long sleeve shirt underneath and leggings, but would be very warm so this would be good for a cold winter day.

Cute shirt but REALLY high side slit!

Wore this to thanksgiving and it was super cute but even with high waisted pants there were several inches of skin showing from the side slit. Very comfortable, maybe next time i would wear it with a black tank top under. True to size.

I felt fun and unique wearing this.

The side slits are too high to wear with out a shell or shirt underneat it. But still was a fun shirt to wear to work.

Fantastic transitional piece

I wore this top as a day to night outfit. It definitely did the job and was super cute with black leggings. It is necessary to have a camisole underneath it because of the high slits. I did not expect it to be as a heavy material as it was but it was great nonetheless.

When it's just getting chilly, but you're not ready to break out the chunky sweaters, this keeps you comfy. It's fitted and stretchy, and it looks great.

Interesting top

You have to wear something underneath it because the slit goes up really high....it's an interesting design. I didn't love the look on me after I put it on. The high slits on the sides makes the front and back panel fit strangely.

Cute top!

Turtleneck is high so if you have a shorter neck area, you may want to pass. Two side vents also go up to natural waist, so I recommend you wear it with high waisted bottoms. Colors are pretty. Hit me just above the knee so it passes as a dress but for the side vent openings.

Versatile, flattering

This is TTS. Versatile. I wore it to work as well as casually. I was surprised to see how high the side slits came up. Not a problem, probably made the top more flattering. It did require a bit more planning for what to wear underneath. I found that high waisted black pants worked best.

Heavy and warm

The side slits are indeed very high, so I wore it over top of a black dress. Unfortunately, I think that this sweater may have shrunk after cleaning as the bottom of the sweater didn't seem to hang or lay correctly (sort of longer on one side than the other, and definitely farther away from itself on the sides - front and back wise - than on the model). I did like the style, however, and it was thick and warm. It was a nice one-time everyday rental, but not a keeper.

Warm and some nice lines, but also some weird ones

I'm still undecided about this one and I've rented it twice! It's very warm. When it lays flat, it has pretty narrow lines. But the skits on the side go up too high meaning it rarely lies flat and kind of stands out in a weird way at the side when you move.

Cute but showing it's age

I really like this sweater. This was my second time renting it. Vents on side are very high...they come above your waist so might need a tank underneath. Also the vents in the side are a bit stretched out so sweater laid a little funny. I do love the color and pattern and it looks great with jeans or black leggings.

I wish it we're lighter or didn't have slits

Not the easiest thing to wear; required a tank underneath. I would like this better in a lighter fabric. Armpits are kinda big as tends to happen with sleaveless sweaters, and the slits on the sides run up pretty high on me. If it's cold enough for a sweater this heavy, it's too cold to have my hips hanging out. Yes, I could wear high waisted pants, but I tend to dislike them. I very much like the subtle sexy of some high hip action, just not so much in the winter.

Nix the Slits

Should've listened to other reviews before renting ... the slits up the sides are ridiculous. Even if I wore a long tank or top underneath, the side slits make the sweater flare out - starting at the ribs - so it creates an unflattering bell shape.

Cute.

Like other reviewers say, the sides of this go WAY up so you HAVE to wear an undershirt. There are not even high waisted pants that go that far up. I wore a black tank and it was fine. But makes you look sort of big in the belly since it's not fitted there. The turtle neck part and pattern were great though! And wasn't itchy at all.

High slit

Interesting pattern, but the high slit and fit made a strange fit. The slit is up to almost my belly botton. The two panels flaps when I move and the shape was not flattering. I tried holding the panels together to see if I could potentially pin the sides together to create a lower slit, but because the panels are made to be separated, the hip area was too tight when the panels are held together. Ended up never wearing it to work.

Borderline side slits

I am short and relatively short waisted, and I had at least an inch and a half of skin showing in the slits above the sides of my high rise jeans. I didn't mind but I can't imagine what would happen on anyone taller! Plus, the arm holes were large enough that they made it problematic to wear without an undershirt, I couldn't find a bra that didn't show. I just ended up with a black cami and it worked.

Side slits were too high to be appropriate, be prepared for skin to show

I thought this was a cute look to wear to a business casual meeting with some high waist black pants or jeans. Unfortunately, no matter what pants I wore this sweater with, my bare sides would peak out several inches on top of my pant waist. If I had extra time i would have bought a black cami to go underneath, but i was at a business meeting out of town and didnt have the time to shop. And honestly, I'm not sure how great that would have looked. I really wanted to love this look and I'm not sure if the slits were so high because I have a full chest, but for me I just couldn't make it work.
