This skirt fit like a glove and went great with crop tops. The slit wasn't too high it was actually perfect and made it easy to move around in. The only thing that bothered me was the top, it folded over and didn't lay flat, you couldn't really tell unless you looked close but it bothered my ocd lol

Paired the Keepsake cropped, shimmery black sweater with the Amanda Upchard lioni high-waisted black skirt and Kendra Scott Fabia statement earrings for a work holiday party. So comfortable and festive. The skirt fit well however the boning at the hips did pucker a little, and one side poked through the fabric underneath scratching my skin. It was comfortable and paired great with a cropped sweater.

A little loose fit around legs but otherwise fits well. The material is good & it is versatile.

Cute. Perfect for work or a job interview. You can also wear it out with a cute top and some heels. You really can dress it up or down.

Loved this skirt, I'm between a medium and large so the waist was too big on me, I'll try a medium next time, but it was very flattering. Will rent again!

I love this form fitting pencil skirt by Amanda Uprichard. Running true to size with little stretch, I recommend wearing one size up for your back up size. The style is fitted throughout the skirt. The skirt is very fitted at the waist and hips. At 5'9, the skirt hits tea length on me. Pair with sneakers for a cool, city chic look.

This skirt mostly fits as expected, though I thought it was the teeniest bit wide in the waist. The slit in the back is not too high. Unlike most pencil skirts, it is so comfortable to move in, sit in, and the fabric presses flat against your tummy. You need a shirt that is light and fitted to go with it. Wearing a body suit with it would make it even sexier for a night out.

Nothing mind blowing but this is a good skirt. I love where it hits On the waist - it's flattering. The boning sticks out some, but I found this skirt comfortable.

My first comment about this skirt is that the fit of the waist is extremely unusual – as it appears on the model in the picture, it is beyond high-waisted, going several inches above the natural waist to sit just about at the bottom of your bra (I’m medium height and long waisted). The tailoring and especially the boning do not really allow it to be worn lower on the waist nor folded down or anything to adjust this. As a result, it really is not possible to wear anything tucked into this skirt for anything like a traditional look. That said, it’s the perfect skirt for wearing shorter, tight-fitting sweaters or shirts with, and I found I actually had quite a few of those. Other fit notes: the skirt is quite stretchy and smooth (very nice material), it was snug on me but I would say true to size. The length is slightly longer than I would prefer – if I bought it, I would probably have it hemmed a little as it was to the bottom of my knee. The slit in the back as some others have noted is fairly high, but I thought it was perfectly fine with tights (might have felt more revealing with bare legs but it’s winter) Generally it just works best for conservative officewear and wasn’t as versatile as I would want out of a pencil skirt to buy. But I enjoyed wearing it as a rental and if I worked in a more corporate office I think this would be a great staple.

If you have a basic black pencil skirt you don't need to rent this. Yes it's flattering but so are my other black pencil skirts Nothing really special and I think this is not as comfortable

This skirt is a great work skirt. I was able to wear it so many different ways for different conferences and meetings I had over the month of October. The fabric is great for travel because it doesn't wrinkle. I was tempted to buy but ultimately didn't because the stays in the side get a little uncomfortable after a long day.

Stretchy comfortable skirt. The high waist adds something a little extra. Reduced from 5 stars just because the boning on the side did jut out a bit and I had to fiddle with the zipper each time.

Loved the cut, nice heavy material. However there is boning to help smooth the sides which just is never going to be anything resembling comfortable

Very nice, thick fabric. I don't find the boning annoying as others have found. I think I might rent this again but size down to see how it fits. I find the skirt to be very flattering and slimming. The slit in the back is a bit higher than other skirts, but the length is long enough that I didn't find it obscene or inappropriate. Would consider buying this skirt.

Perfect pencil skirt

Form fitting comfort is the best way to describe this skirt. Hugged all of my curves and recd tons of compliments. One issue, there is wire boning that can poke you - may not want to rent for an event where you will be seated more than standing.

This is a great skirt - love the high waist and the stretchy fabric. I wanted to buy this so badly, but the zipper on the one I got was touchy. I will rent this one again!

Great work skirt

I usually wear a 4 which was unavailable, so since I'm sometimes in-between 4-6, I ordered a M. DO NOT order above your size in this skirt. The high waist has boning which has to fit a certain way, if it is too large it doesn't sit correctly on the waist and the boning actually juts out at the sides. It's not a bad skirt, my fault for ordering up.

I rented this as a backup for a black minidress I'd selected for a party, and the dress fit. This is a solid, good weight black skirt. The high waist is an interesting detail, but not one I need in my closet today. The high waist would be amazing with a crop or bra top for a party/going out, or with a fitted blouse tucked in for work.

Loved this classic back high waist. Wore it for a family Xmas dinner with a DVF blouse and fun heels. Would have considering purchasing as a staple but the boning was starting to become exposed and stuck into my right side. Dealt with it for a night but not worth purchasing.

Lovely fabric and well made but it was just too tight for me to be comfortable all day. It's not my normal style so I wanted to try it but I'll stick with less form-fitting skirts. Nice item though!

this skirt is soft and comfy. maybe a little long for my 5'2 body but I still enjoyed wearing and and ther are just so many possibilities of what you can wear with a black skirt.

Loved the high-waisted style here! Fun cut, and fit me very well (hourglass figure, 145-lb, 5'5"). Unfortunately just not better than the other black skirt I already owned, ended up taking it instead.

This would have been a slam dunk, except that there is boning in the sides that kept poking into my thighs when I would sit. That's not a good feature for a business skirt!

Loved the style, but there was these things on the inside on the sides that constantly poked me and become very uncomfortable.

I liked the overall size and fit, but the boning was a deal-breaker — it ended up sticking out just below my waist, in a way that I would have constantly been trying to correct. It's possible that I wouldn't have had the same problem with a size down, something truly skin-tight. I didn't end up wearing it.

Cute the slit in the back was a little long. I wore once but I was uncomfortable with how much back leg was being shown in a professional setting.

I usually wear a M, but this skirt was too tight. Plus there are wires along the insides of the waist that make the skirt uncomfortable.

This skirt looks great on the hanger. Solid fabric. But, it just did not fit me right. The boning on the sides stuck out, not sure if I don't have enough hips or what was happening. Maybe with the right body type it would work, just not my frame.

Made of legging material, no structure. Didn't work well for me.

It is form fitting but not structured enough to conceal any lumps or bumps. It also has a kind of boning on the sides the seemed awkward.
