Can't remember what size I wore but I LOVED this dress! Wore it for an Oscar viewing party- perfect bit of glam and coverage of arms and legs :) would rent again any day!

This dress was perfect for an Early October wedding. I was comfortable, stayed warm when outside, and it was super stylish and chic. It was drapey and sophisticated, and while I am typically a small, this was definitely fit on the larger side.

I wore this dress for my birthday surprise, a trip to SF's MOMA and dinner. It was comfortable, good for different temperatures, and fun! It looked great paired with flat boots and easy to wear all day.

I wish I had a better photo from the night of the event but this one will do. I wasn't expecting the gold polka dots to be as faded as they were but it worked to my advantage as it wasn't too "flashy". The fit was very flattering for my body type and elongated my short torso. The one tiny thing I would change was how high the slit was. Again, it wasn't a horrible thing BUT too revealing for the event I was attending... Nothing a safety pin couldn't fix!

Fits great. Very comfortable. It is gathered at the waist with a tie but doesn't balloon out and add volume which is great. Would suggest wearing a slip underneath on a windy day. Very elegant. The polka dots are a glittery metallic color (not white) but very subtle.

Light and comfortable dress, great fit. Some of the gold at the sash was slightly worn off. I used fashion tape to secure the slit at the thigh. Very ladylike and beautiful dress, perfect for my hourglass shape. Made me feel very glamourous!

This was nice for Christmas Eve, because the polka dots have a silver sparkle, and the waist is not fitted, so you could eat all the apps m, dinner, and a couple cookies and not feel restricted! I added a gold belt at the wait to up the sparkle.

I ordered two dresses to wear to the opening night of my daughter's opera premier and chose this one because it looked formal and was so comfortable. I knew I'd be running around back stage helping her before and after her performance and at the cast party and this dress looked great all night. I also loved knowing that I was wearing a small...so I'd say it runs a bit big.

Rented for a wine auction. Easy to wear and another RTR winner. If this is ever for sale I would buy it. Two issues (but still worth the 5 star rating): gold polka dots are very faded and dress is NOT 100% silk--tag says 100% polyester Top is blousy not frumpy or too large. Overall great dress even for my petite frame!

i loved wearing this dress. it's not the most flattering thing on me, given my height i suppose. i'm fairly short waisted with a bigger bust for my size, so the fact that this dress is very roomy on top didn't help me. however... heels helped. and i loved the over all shape so much i decided i didn't care that the top made me look bigger! i wore it 3 times in a week to 3 different events. i'll keep it on my 'rent again' list too. PS: that is the Zac Posen bag, also rented.

This dress is so awesome! Runs very large, so get the smallest size you can imagine yourself in. Large at the top, but that's the way it's supposed to be. I added a belt to highlight the waist.

This dress is so lovely. I have a rather large chest and because I do CrossFit, my shoulders and arms have become much larger. This dress fit perfectly, which is something spectacular because I am always looking for a dress that will flatter my chest (minimize it) and still fit my arms and shoulders. It lays so well and elongates the figure and shows the legs (oo-la-la!) I also wore it in Florida, which was rather warm, but the dress breathes beautifully!

I was hesitant about renting this dress- it was not something I would normally wear but was drawn to it. As other reviews said, this does run large. I am normally between a size 6-8 and the small fit perfectly. It was different and sexy but very classy- so many compliments!

I ordered a M, but ended up wearing the S. I loved the fit - it was easy to dance in and was comfortable all night long. I would rent this dress again for another event!

I love this dress. I wore this dress with lace underneath and left the v neck unbuttoned. I got so many compliments on Valentine's Day from males and females. It was elegant and classy but still super sexy. The tie around the waist is sown into the back so I did have to do some adjusting throughout the night but it was worth it. I will save to own this dress!

I am a 32DDD and the XS covered my bust without squishing at al. Also I don't have a model flat stomach but this dress gives and doesn't pinch, but is also tailored so it doesn't look like you're wearing a bag or sporting a pooch! Great option for women with curves!

very easy to wear, some reviewers mentioned the belt was missing, but my dress had the belt. I ended up using a safety pin to secure the top rather than the snap so I could wear it a little more low cut. Loved the length.

As others said, slightly tight on the shoulders when putting it on / taking it off. Mine was also missing the belt although the elastic waist was enough to cinch it in. Those things didn't bother me at all as I felt the dress was extremely flattering and comfortable. I wish I could have kept the dress! This was my first rent the runway experience and I definitely will be back for more! :)

Fit was perfect. It was super comfortable and sexy. I wore it to a black tie dinner. Had lots of compliments.

I am usually a size medium for most dresses, but the MR size of this dress was not available for the dates I needed, so I decided to gamble and rent the SR and get the LR as the free backup. After trying on both sizes I decided that the LR was too big, since as other reviewers have mentioned, there is a lot of fabric in the top. Even though I have a larger bust, the LR size had too much fabric to look good on me. The SR fit, but was a little tight around the arm and hip areas. I did have to adjust the chest area to have it lay nicely, and I did have to be careful when sitting because the wrap skirt could fall open. I decided to wear the SR, though if I rent again, I would try to get the MR to see if it fits better than the SR. I wore nude tights, short black boots, and simple jewelry to keep the outfit more casual since the NYE party was at a house, but i think it could also look great with strappy heels. I got many compliments and I will definitely try to rent it again for another occasion.

This dress is so fun. The cut is totally different from any other dress I've rented, and it's such a cool little black dress alternative. The top is very loose - I'm pretty busty and at first I put on my biggest push-up to try and fill it out, but it ended up looking much better when I put on something without padding and just let it fall. The waist and sleeves hit at the perfect spots. The slit was also a little more dramatic that I anticipated, especially when I was sitting down, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I would absolutely recommend this dress.

I'm small up top, so I had a lot of extra fabric billowing to the sides but the dress remained flattering. I wore this to an orthodox Jewish wedding and felt both dressy and conservative enough to fit it, yet the dress still suited my own personal style. The photos don't do it justice- the layering of the sheer fabric with gold dots makes it much more stylish than it looks.

This is the perfect in-between dress for the occasion that's not quite cocktail but not jeans either. The only issue with this dress is with the front split, you have to be really careful sitting and getting up because you could accidentally flash someone because of the way it opens and lays. But other than that, I love this dress! I liked it so much I went out and bought it!

I enjoyed this dress. I wore booties to dress it down. I fit into both small and medium, but the medium was very top heavy and blousy so I went with the small. I used a little fashion tape to help keep the leg opening closed. I am not a fan of too much leg, so the tape helped. Also after reading others reviews, I DID receive a belt with the dress. I was worried I wouldn't based on previous reviews, and both back up dress and dress worn had one!!

Beautifully made dress with thoughtful details. Sash is stitched on & there's a small snap perfectly placed on the front so the girls stay covered. This dress is just amazing. It fit me perfectly. The fabric is wonderful as it skims the body & gives a nice hourglass shape. I wore it for Thanksgiving dinner & it was very forgiving. At 5'3" the length was perfect on me with average heels. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress fits and drapes beautifully! I'm a sucker for wraps but can never seem to find tops or dresses that fully cover my bustier self. This one, however, made me feel both lovely and comfortable. I wore a small regular--the waist didn't squeeze (bring on the dessert!) and the hem hit the middle of the backs of my ankles (never felt like I would fall on my face). It was also a perfect median between fancy and not-too-fancy; I was only a guest and wanted to appear occasion appropriate but not overdone. Most importantly, it looked super awesome with my glasses. I would definitely rent again!

A little upset RTR didn't send the belt (not respond to my emails about it), but the dress was great. I usually wear a medium, due to larger shoulders/arms and it fit good.

I rented this dress for a cocktail charity event. It was perfect and it would be easy to dress up or dress down. The sleeves were a tiny bit snug around my shoulders for my frame, but that wasn't a big deal at all. I had so many compliments on it all night long--I loved it!

First time renting from RTR, it was so fun! The dress fit just a little bit large for an XS but with elastic inside waist was super comfortable. It had thread belt loops but did not come with a belt. Really cute and worked well for photos!

This dress was super comfortable and easy to wear all day with a regular bra. It has a snap to make the neckline a little higher and I thought I might need it since I'm extremely busty but it actually hung perfectly with or without the snap closed.

Running true to size, we recommend sizing down for backup as there is ample room in the bust and the waist is comfortably cinched at the belted area. The v-neckline gives you the option to snap it open or close for a more or less intense cut while the high-low tea length boasts a wrap skirt with a slit that shows a bit of leg when you walk. Pair with black heels or heeled boots for a more casual vibe.

This dress was amazing. I wore a small and it fit perfectly. I have broad shoulders, small chest, narrow waist, and wider hips and butt. This dress is perfect to accentuate a small waist and camoflage the lower half. I usually am a 4 in usual sizing. I am definitely going to rent this again!

The split in the front is very high and very sexy. The arms are slightly tighter than the rest of the dress, but the chest is very forgiving. The cinched waist allows the free material lose that frumpiness. I am typically between a size 6 or 8, which means something different for everybody. I have a large chest, small waist line, and wide bottom. This dress is perfect for someone with an hourglass figure. I went with the small because of my height - the medium seemed a bit too frumpy. This dress was beautiful. I wore it to a silent auction for our communities arts Council. It is formal event and this dress was very well received. I will definitely be renting the stress again.

As all the reviews before me mention, the top does have a lot of room and there is a clasp in case you don't want to show too much. There is not that much give around the waist and yes, be careful when sitting as it does expose a lot of leg. Otherwise this dress is a great! I would definitely rent this again for any occasion.
