Rented this beauty for a work-related fundraiser themed "Hollywood now and forever." Despite a botched updo from a new stylist, this dress made my evening feel glamorous and yet laid back. I do wish I would have rented a 4 long (it wasn't available when I made my selections) as heels would have been more fun, but the fancy flats I selected worked just fine. I've never been so happy in a bridesmaid's dress. This dress elegant and simple. Much more flattering than your average bridesmaids dress. I loved wearing it and would rent again for another wedding!

This dress was perfect for the event we attended. It was light, allowed me to walk, dance, etc. It was very comfortable.

The dress was perfect. The length was just right for 5’1’’ and heels. The “flowy” top fabric hides any flaws & the fitted top is not tight. Although I was worried it would be too low, the back works perfectly with regular strapless bra.

I am 5'9' and got the long, it was actually a little too long! Rib cage was tight.

Definitely order a size up. I usually wear 18-20 and I got a 22 and it took two people to zip me in. Once I got in the dress, it was comfortable and beautiful. The back is low and I didn't have a bra that worked so for the first time in my life (as a large chested woman) I went without a bra. It gave me enough support that I enjoyed my evening dancing and chasing after my kids at a family wedding.

I wore this dress to a gala and really liked it! It's a perfect fit if you're looking for something non-revealing/appropriate for a work function. I usually wear a 4R and it was true to size. I'm 5'4", 125 pounds and have a 34D bust. It runs long so I would definitely recommend heels so the dress isn't dragging. Even with heels, it drug behind me when I went down stairs. Beautiful dress!

I had a different style for the back up dress and it didn’t fit so I had to go with this one and it was okay but too big as they didn’t have a size I needed and needed to wear blue to go with my alma mater school colors as I was receiving an award!

I ordered this as a backup for a formal event. I don’t think I’ll wear it. It was fairly tight in the waist, even though I usually wear an 8 and this was a 10. But it was too large in the shoulders. It has a lower v-shaped back with straps that have a bit too much width between them. The oddest part is the zipper. It is on the inner layer rather than the outer, and it’s pretty difficult to zip, especially with the wide band at the waist. The dress is pretty long. I’m 5’6” and it’s barely off the floor with 3-inch heels. Lovely color and style, but it could be better.

I actually had to go 2 sizes up and rush order a 14 instead of a 10 to have this fit. It runs very small! But very classic and elegant.

This was a dress that I got due to my backup not being available. The waist area has bunched fabric so it was challenging to get the zipper up at that part. I am also breastfeeding my 3 month old, so not wearing a bra was not an option. I was a little sad to realize the back was not high enough to cover up a bra. I loved the outer layer of the dress. It flowed so freely and smooth, I was sad it didn't work. I'm 175 lbs with an hourglass shape. I usually wear size 14, but this 16 fit like a glove so it's running a little small. I'm 5'9" and was able to wear 3in heels without showing my shoes.

The larger size fit nearly perfectly (thanks to the ability to have the back up dress a size up!) and it was the perfect choice for the event. I've never had so much fun attending an event like this in my life due to the ease of finding the perfect thing to wear! Economical and beautiful... it doesn't get better than that. :)

I wore this for a 1920’s themed formal dinner/fight night for a work related organization. The dress itself was not on theme but I dressed it up with a 20’s inspired hairdo and it worked. I am in my 40’s, and this dress was flattering and elegant for me. However, it could go “bridesmaid-y”, by which I mean you’ll look appropriate for your formal event but it seems almost designed not to outshine anyone. I am 5’-7”, and the long just brushed the floor with me in 2-1/2” heels.

Dress was tight around my rib cage so I went up a size. Not the most comfortable fit to sit at dinner (made me have excellent posture!) but was great for cocktail hour and pictures. Regular length allowed me to wear flats!

I rented my usual dress size (14) but also ordered the 16 as a backup because I did read that the dress runs small. I ended up wearing the 16 because my boobs were too big, however the waist and shoulders had enough room that showed a 14 would have fit perfectly if I didn't have big boobs(36DDD). I received so many compliments and it really was great for the event(a Gala I catered for).

First time user of RTR. I selected too small of sizes in original order (my fault). This dress was overnighted to me for free (amazing customer service). It was a great fit. Shoulders were a tad loose (secured with safety pin in back). Waist line was fitted. I am 5'7" and wore 2 inch heel, Long length was perfect.

Almost all of my clothes are size 10. After reading numerous reviews about how the dress size is very close to accurate, I ordered a 10 and 12, just in case. I could not even close the zipper halfway on the size 12. I contacted RTR and the customer service was exceptionally. Mark ordered a size 16 (size 14 was not available) to be expedited to me in 2 days. Then I received an email apologizing for the delay of delivery due to severe storms. Unfortunately, the gown arrived on my doorstep after we had departed for the wedding. When we arrived home, I tried it on anyway. To my dismay, the size 16 fit very well - 6 sizes larger than my regular. Maybe I'm just not used to designer clothing and they all run small? In addition, the replacement gown is not the same style as the one I ordered. I just have to say that the customer service is far beyond superior to any other complany. My take-away from this is to order sizes much larger than I think I need. I hope this helps you!

I’m tall and it was a good length for me to wear with heels. The color and style is so pretty and shows off jewelry well. It fit perfectly, I tried the 12 on as well and that was too big so I ordered the 10 and I’m glad I did.

This dress is simple yet very pretty. I wore this to a wedding and it was a perfect style. The area of the dress that is tapered under the bust runs small and does not stretch at all. I had read others reviews and ordered 2 sizes up and am so glad I did, and probably even could have done 3 sizes up! With it being snug under the bust area but the dress being 2 sizes larger than I usually wear, it made the shoulder straps loose, and the material by the armpits loose. I just used fashion tape and this fixed that problem. The length was great even with smaller 2" heels. I would definitely rent this dress again.

Lovely gown -- the fabric is very nice, and cut of sleeves is sleek and elegant. Flowy & graceful to move in.

Perfect dress for a black tie optional wedding! I’m 5’2” and wore 3” heels, and I had to pick the dress up when I walked. I’d recommend taller heels if you’re short, like me!

I tried on three different RTR dresses, starting with my usual size 10 and in size 12, and both regular and long lengths. They didn't fit at all. I ended up quickly having to find and order two more options in sizes 14 and 16. Thank goodness size 12 "Rory" regular was snug but perfect! Since it was February, I also bought a little bolero jacket to wear with it, which worked perfectly! These dresses are not typical US sizes.

I wear a size 10 dress, normally. Ordered a Size 12. It fit well in the waist and chest, but the shoulder straps needed to be pinned to fit. Length was also a bit long for my 64" frame. The dress was lovely

Unfortunately they didn’t have the size I really needed but I did have to size up like a lot of people have stated before the size I got was too big but still made it work because it wasn’t too far off. This is funny because I’m no where near the size I had to go up to. The Length was perfect for me though

So sad! This was my favorite option for a formal event but it was too tight around the waist. I am a solid 36D and although it took effort - I was able to get the waist zipped but then the top sagged. Even with firm control shapewear the waist was just too tight to breathe in :(.
