I typically wear a 4, but this dress fit me too tightly across the chest in a 4 (it's pure silk with no stretch), so I ended up wearing the 6 and it was perfect--fitted through the top and waist and slightly looser and drapey from the waist down. I wore it to an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding and it was perfectly dramatic and whimsical withoutfeeling costume-y. It was comfortable and I got a ton of compliments. It's really unique and I felt like my outfit stood out.

I've become a huge fan of this brand through RTR. The fit was amazing. I loved that you could style this dress wearing the sleeves or not. Since it is a column style dress, I would not recommend this dress for girls with curves. The dark colors in this dress make it the perfection option for any fall formal affair!

Wore this for a summer black tie wedding. I loved this dress but I'm normally a size 6 and I literally wore a 12 because otherwise it wouldn't zipper over my chest (DD's). I probably could have gotten away with wearing a 10 but it was sold out so I went with the slightly large-on-me size. Anyway, my point is: size up. Other than that, this dress is sooo comfortable and pretty. I got a lot of compliments and felt great in it.

I rented this dress for a wedding in November and absolutely loved it! It was super comfortable, pretty, and stylish. It actually ran a little bit big and was stretchy, so no need to size up. I think that this is partially why it was so comfortable. I'm very petite, so I was initially nervous to rent this dress as I thought it might be too long, but it wasn't. I think that this dress would be good for any height or body type. It's also very well made and felt really durable!

This dress you feel unsure of but it worked. I wouldn't say it's a go out on Saturday night or a brunch dress. It's a perfect gallery opening, more Thur night wine dress. It's fashion forward and looked great. I would rent this again for the right occasion. It's a winner

I wore this twice. Once on date night and once for my sister's graduation party. Both times it was a certifiable hit. The reviews said it ran small without any give in the waist and hips so I ordered up from my normal size 8 to a 12 and it was definitely loose but still so beautiful. I will probably rent in an 8 at some point for a more body hugging silhouette. Even though the colors are very reminiscent of fall, the color palette works for me and both times I wore it on a cool spring, and brought along a black blazer as the evening got chillier. I know everyone says this, but the outfit got a bunch of compliments and I was really pleased with my choice. You can wear it with the sleeves on your arms or closer to your body for two very different, but still very flattering looks. Paired with strappy sandals but a low black booty would have also worked.

This dress was my back up option after being notified a few days before my event that the original dress I picked was no longer available. With not a lot of last minute options and sizes available, I picked this dress and wasn't sold even after trying it on for the first time. I was nervous about the fit after reading the reviews. It is a slightly narrow fit so I wouldn't suggest it for pear shape figures as it might feel constricting. After all is said and done, i ended up loving this dress. It is beautiful and totally unique. I received many compliments throughout the night and am glad to have rented this dress.

The dress fit amazingly. The fabric was soft, the ruffles were light so they didn't add bulk, and the length was great - even for a short girl. It felt appropriate for a work event with coverage while still feeling fun. At an event with gorgeous dresses, strangers came up to ask about this dress. (If you are going to an event alone : ( it can be hard to zip as it goes all the way to the top giving it a great neckline. I might have pulled a muscle zipping it. But worth it)

I am tall and lean...it fit perfectly! I would not recommend if you have curves, bc it fits snug in the chest and lower body. I received constant compliments and felt like a movie star! I wore in my engagement photos and couldn't be more thrilled

I wore this at 23 weeks pregnant for an outdoor wedding in Idaho. The theme was "Western Wildflower," and this dress was sophisticated and PERFECT! The style feels kind of Westworld -- a bit Victorian but also modern and sexy. My usual size would have been 4R, and the 8R had the perfect cut and fit for my growing belly. Wore with knee-high Frye boots and it looked rad and I got tons of compliments.

This is such a lovely dress in lace and silk. It is so feminine and I love it fits the right curves in my body. The style is very 'in season' with the shoulder look. It is sexy and yet conservative at the same time with the webbed neckline. I love it!!!

Very fitted, the ruffles are well placed to highlight your figure and the hemline is beautiful! I paired with black kitten heels for my event and then nude stilettos for after party cocktails with the honey.

Step out of your comfort zone! This is such a regal dress and it’s not my first go to item when browsing, but something stood out to me that made me want to try it; it’s different. The dress runs true to size so I wholeheartedly recommend going a size up as the fabric does not stretch. Works best for A to C cup sizes (fitted at bust) as well as the waist. May be worn with any standard bra, and it’s ideal for any body type to be completely honest. This is a cute dress for a gala, a charity event, or anything super formal. You can add your own dash of sass with this bold printed Amur dress. The slit in the front of the dress has t be my favorite part, it adds so much sass!

Love the style of this dress! I rented it for a party and it was a huge hit, I got compliments all night. It's romantic and not at all vulgar which was what I was looking for. My one con is that the torso was slightly off for me- there was some bunching around my waist where I wish it was tighter and more fitted- or maybe it would be better on someone with a longer torso? Not sure, but the proportion wasn't quite perfect. Despite this fit issue, I still wore it and it was incredibly flattering. The bunching was disguised by the print, ruffles, and dark color so I don't think it was noticeable to anyone except me. The best part of this dress is the hem. It flows beautifully when you walk or dance, and it's really easy to move in. I was also happy that the length was good on me. I'm 5'1" and a lot of dresses hit the floor in me- but not this one. It was perfect. All in all this is a fabulous dress and I'm a little sad to be sending it back today,

I rented this dress for a romantic castle/dinner in Switzerland and it was perfect! I was looking for a piece that is high up on the list of current fashion trends yet conservative as the Castle tour was a work related event for my husband. While I am fairly tall (5'7) and thin I do have a large bust & the dress still fit perfectly! Be prepared for a night of complements and questions because you will hear time and time again "I love that dress where did you get it".

I couldn't wear this dress because the chest area was too small. I could not close the back. I would have needed about 4" of extra fabric there. It is a light dress, probably best for summer events.

It runs true to size. It is a lightweight breathable fabric. It fit nicely in my suitcase for this wedding with no wrinkling. I would recommend it for an outdoor event even in summer time despite its dark fabric color. I got many compliments the night I wore it

This dress runs a little small, especially in the rib cage/bust area. I read several reviews recognizing the smaller fit in this area and sized up to an 8. I am very happy I did! I normally wear a size 6. I could not wear a bra, but sports bra/bathing suit inserts worked fine. The high neck and cascading material on the shoulders and arms produced the illusion of a smaller waist. Very flattering! I received a few compliments on the dress and questions about where I got it. "Oh, somewhere online..." ;)

Wore this to a fifth avenue hat parade party. Beautiful dress, got a ton of compliments on it. For me, the dress was pretty tight on my hips, and the fabric has absolutely no give. It will also show lower stomach pooch, so I wouldn't say it's a dress you'd want to eat a huge dinner in. It looked great on, but it wasn't the most comfortable dress I've worn. Still would recommend it though!

dress works well in the winter. loved all the details. i'm typically a 4, but have a large waist so i sized up to the 6 and it fit well. without heels the back just skimmed the floor, looks much better with heels. loved the design and would even be appropriate for a winter wedding. doesn't need a bra or you should go strapless.

Fits true to size. I wore it with blue suede heels which really popped against the black florals. Easy to throw a jacket over this to keep warm in the winter.

This dress was beautiful. Note - not silk - its poly... but nonetheless it's a gorgeous choice. I have large hips..so it was a bit snug in the belly but made it work. If i rented again I'd probably rent an 8 versus a 6.
