I saw this on the hanger in the RTR store and was not at all interested. Thankfully I tried it on anyway bc it absolutely STUNNING on! The material is a thick luxurious silk that hugs your curves in all the right places. There is absolutely no stretch though, so curvier girls should size up (especially if you are busty!). I got sooo many compliments; so happy I tried it on despite my initial reservations.

So fun to wear to a modern dance performance on a Saturday night. I loved the heavy satin feel of the fabric, but be warned, it could be too warm if it's in the middle of summer or you're out in the sun. Fabric has a sheen to it, which makes it a bit more dressy. Really not a daytime dress unless it's a fairly formal occasion. Fit like a glove and the swishy semi-mermaid bottom was fun.

This dress is gorgeous! I wore it to an outdoor wedding in August, and it was perfect. I rented a ton of dresses for the event, and this was was hands down the winner. The fabric is on the heavier side, which is nice because it flattens the tummy. That said, there is not much give. If you're pear-shaped, I'd size up one because it's tight in the midsection. For those who find it gaps in the chest area, if you cross the straps in the back instead of the front, it will be much tighter.

Gorgeous dress, elevated resort wear! Fit like a glove, probably best for ladies with B cups and below unless you size up. Would rent again!

This dress is amazing! Had to size up for the girls.. per usual but the 6 zipped, just couldn't breathe! Only downfall of this dress was that after sitting in it for many hours and dancing, the straps on my collar bones started digging in and I woke up with marks! But beauty is pain.. right?

I thought a 2 would be too small but this dress fit like a glove! (I have a small rib cage but am a 32c and have a butt). This dress accentuated my figure and was a lovely satiny material. Perfect for weddings!

When I first tried the dress on, it was very fitted at the waist. The dress doesn't have stretch but towards the end of the night it felt comfortable even after drinking and eating all night. The bottom was very loose, but it didn't take away from the dress. I would rent it again. It definitely makes you look thinner. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite RTR's of all time. This dress is very flattering on and the other reviews are accurate about the high-quality fabric, midi-length good for petites, etc. I would say that the size 2 fit me well because I have a very narrow ribcage w/ a larger bust, but it was a squeeze in the hips. Overall it looked great, but a little room in the hips would have made even better, but there was no way I could have worn a larger size in the waist or bust. I taped the top of the dress with fashion tape to secure opposed to pinning straps, which kept the loose top/ straps secure all night. Wish I owned this dress! Want to find more cuts as flattering as this style for my body type. p.s. I nearly ordered a 4 and 6 after reading reviews, but unfortunately, we suffer from inaccurate sizing syndrome.

This dress is much prettier in person than you realiE. Fabric is very thick. Very pretty. I would have given this dress a 6 star but I have 34D and the top was verrrry tight. Waist and the rest fit well. So I say rent this dress. But know if you are busty they will be swished and deep breaths are tough.

I absolutely loved this dress! I was a little concerned it wouldn't fit right in my bust area but it kept the girls in place all night (I went without a bra). The material is sturdy and hugged my body in all the right places. I loved the versatility of the straps but felt that crossing them in the front was much more flattering for me. I would highly recommend renting this one!

This dress was glamorous!! Fit like a dream. Little tight in the chest, but gave me a little extra umph! The material/dress is much dressier than it appears in pictures. Perfect for a semi-formal affair.

I have pretty wide hips and a pear shape, so the fact that it fit like a glove without squeezing in a weird way was great (I think the Thick material and silky material allowed for that), my boyfriend couldn't stop staring and I received tons of compliments! The dress was thick and held in everything well. I usually wear a 6 or 8 in a dress, but had to order a 10 at the last minute. I ended up fitting my hips into the 10, but then the bust was too big (I'm a 36B). It was an easy fix to just safety pin each side on the top about a half inch and it worked out perfectly! It looked like I took it in! The dress was the perfect length for my 2 inch heels and 5'5" height. I didn't need to adjust the straps but they were a bit longer than I would have liked but they worked as long as I stood up straight and didn't hunch over. I wouldn't have needed a bra except that I needed to fill in the dress better, but it would have held them in well enough. It was form-fitting just enough to be very flattering. I would order your size and a size up. I did wear a mini corset underneath to flatten my myself out, but I probably could have gone without it. :) All in all it was an amazing dress. It was perfect for my husband's youngest sister's wedding. It was fancy enough but not too fancy. The material was a slight satin so it made it very elegant. It wasn't a white background really. It looked to me like a very, very light pink background with purple and pink flowers. It was very beautiful and I felt confident wearing it. I would highly recommend this dress.

This dress was a huge hit at a Hawaiian destination wedding! It was hot as heck and even though the fabric seems thick, I didn't feel like I was melting. I wore it with a bustier and it felt a little hard to sit at times. Fabric doesn't stretch. It traveled well in a suitcase and needed only light steaming from a tiny handheld steamer. Not too white for a wedding!

This dress was my favorite rental to date! The material is a gorgeous satin that you can't tell in the picture, and the fabric is so thick and flattering! I absolutely adored this dress, and it was so comfortable dancing the night away at the wedding! My one complaint was that after a while, the straps felt looser on top so I was having to pull it up quite a bit toward the end of the night.

So cute! It has a great fit and flare - I'm super short and was worried I'd be drowning in it but it worked well for my size. Sucked me in quite a bit - if you're teetering between sizes, would suggest the large one. Didn't need to wear a bra either!

Size 10 fit well- but I would have worn an 8 usually. So it was smaller than a normal 10. The bust was a bit large for me so I had to pad! But overall I had so many compliments and it was very comfortable.

I rented this for a formal wedding at a vineyard. It was perfect for the occasion! Lots of compliments. It runs small and has no stretch. I ordered 1 size up and maybe could have gone up 2. But 1 size up + Spanx fit like a glove!

Fit snugly in ribs and waist. Loose enough in hips to dance and bend down to pick up my daughter. I'm 32B and wore my most padded bra and still had a little gapping at the bust near the armpits. Heavy fabric hid flaws but wasn't too hot. Great dress, I would buy it if it fit better in the bust

This dress was everything I hoped it would be and more!!! I didn't want to take it off! I rented this for my graduation in May. I was afraid it might be too hot based on previous reviewers, but even under a graduation gown it was still cool enough! -- The fabric is AMAZING and it's fully lined! It's a rich thick glimmering material and the color is kind of a really really pale blue but in a gorgeous hue. SThe flowy bottom fabric was so perfect! Would be SO fun to dance in! -- Fit is a little off, but not enough to notice on my. I'm 5'8", 130 lbs, 32C, hips measure 38.5". It runs small (maybe 1 size small?) on the bottom especially around the hips, but perfect up top. I ordered a 2 & 4, and this is the 2 that I wore. I could've worn the 4 on the hips but it was too large thru the bust. Overall I still loved it! It was sooo comfy except when sitting, because as I mentioned the fabric has no give. It was hard to breath when sitting if sitting up straight, but I was standing for a lot of the time. --I wore no bra, and the fabric is thick enough you don't have to worry about special underwear! I don't even think you would need Spanx. I loved that I didn't need a ton of jewelry with it because it is already such a stand-out piece itself!

This dress is stunning and I absolutely wanted to keep it. It's really unique yet classic and sophisticated. I wish I would have gotten a size 4. I kind of drift in between a 4 and a 6, so maybe size down if you're undecided.

I went with a size 2 and 4 and the 4 was perfect. I have a petite upper body but curvy hips (5'5" 34C 133lbs) and this was a very tight fit and might have been a bit too tight around the ribs (has no give in that area) but otherwise worked perfect. A TON of compliments and would absolutely recommend.

This dress looks pretty terrible on the hanger and I tried it on at the suggestion of an RTR stylist in the chicago store. the 0 was tight but the fabric was thick and forgiving enough that i felt comfortable moving all night. big fan.

Although I would consider myself a "straight and narrow" body type with a fuller bust, I had to size up for this dress. The 0 fit well, however, the chest did not have much give and it was slightly uncomfortable. The 0 fit better through my hips and bum, but I ultimately went with the 2 to accommodate my bust. The fit of the dress is amazing! It was a complete head turner. The bride herself was in love with this dress! The salsa dancer/ feminine flare is truly stunning. The material was thick so no bra was needed even with a full bust I felt well-supported. I am only 5'4", so I did wear a higher heel because the drama of this dress can be a lot to carry if you are more on the petite side. However, the movement was fantastic, it was fun to dance in, and it was definitely a memorable look! IN LOVE WITH THIS DRESS!

The fabric of this dress is high-quality and has a beautiful print. It was elegant and fun to dance in. But size up if you've got a booty/hips. The 10 was a little loose in the waist and bust, but the 8 was too snug on my hips to feel comfortable, so I went with the 10!

Wore this to a summer wedding - wore the 2, and rented the 4 as back-up. Even though the material doesn't stretch nor give, it fit like a glove. The personification of that salsa dancing emoji, the mermaid hem line is SO fun! The straps were a little long, but my bust (strapless bra) filled out the top, so it wasn't a problem. Hugged me all through the torso and hip area. I loved this dress! Because of the thick material, rent a size up as backup.

Overall ended up wearing the dress and felt tight but had no other choice. The material is satin and does not stretch. Keep that in mind when renting this, I would suggest to order your reg size and one size up as a backup.
