I rented this to wear at the end of my January wedding during our outdoor sparkler exit since I knew it would be cold! It was such a hit and everyone commented how glamorous I looked!

I wanted something extra for my December wedding, but didn't want to buy it. It was the perfect addition. Fortunately, it wasn't that cold out, but it did help keep me warm! The closure helped it stay on during pictures as well. So glad I found this!

This was so beautiful! I rented this to wear as I was leaving the wedding and reception. It does not have sleeves and just slips over your shoulders. I wore it in a few of the wedding pictures, just for fun decoration. I got a slew of compliments on this amazing item. I would rent it again in a heartbeat. I may rent it to wear to a wedding in the winter. Gorgeous. Rent it.

It was going to be colder than expected at my destination wedding - this was an impulse wedding that paid off immensely. I don't think there are many times in my life where I'll get to wear a white fluffy capelet - but this was one of them, and I have no regrets. Kept me warm, too!

I had a white party to attend. My vision was old Hollywood Glamor. This was the perfect addition. It was soft and easy to wear.

I thought I would only need it for the evening photos for our October wedding but that day it was suddenly cold and windy so I was relieved I had it. I wore it through the entire ceremony. The clasp was an absolute necessity! It laid perfectly across my shoulders and I was able to lay my necklace in just the right spot so that the pendant hung just below. I had a tiny amount of shedding but very minimal and completely worth it! Since my gown was white the white stole was perfect for me. Not sure what I would have chosen if my gown was ivory, etc. Will get something like it again in a second if the need ever arises!!

fit is super easy. Color is a very bright white, my dress was really ivory, but i think it still looked great. White goes with white :) Fur was really cozy and made me feel extra special. I ordered it on a whim last minute when we learned the temp had dropped 30 degrees the week before our wedding. I'm so glad we did. It was great to have different looks throughout the evening.

We got married on Valentines day and it was a little chilly in south LA so this little jacket was perfect! It does not have "sleeves" it just drapes over your shoulders. i wore it before the wedding and then to leave the reception in. People just kept commenting that I looked like a movie star. It was the perfect addition to my look. My dress was ivory and the colors did not clash at all. I love love love it!

I wore the wrap for my wedding in January. It did provide some warmth and was easy to put on with just one hook in the front. Good quality. Mine came with a displaced piece of fur in the back, but a tiny safety pin and it was invisible. A great way to use a fun accessory that looked glamourous but that I'm thrilled I didn't buy simply for the small amount of time I used it. My dress was ivory and the colors matched really well.

The shrug has one hook and eye and fits over the shoulders. I am petite and it still hit at a good spot. The one con is that the maribou feathers got EVERYWHERE. My husband was wearing a black suit/shirt with a white tie, and he ended up covered in them as well.

While it couldn't quite fight off the 36 degree weather we had on our wedding day, it sure did try! Remarkably warm for being feathers, and felt absolutely decadent. I felt like a Gatsby princess in this capelet. I got it also in the gray for my bridesmaids and they looked magnificent as well. Fits nicely through the shoulders, not too short and not too long, and hooks securely in front. Didn't slip an inch all night.

I looked everywhere for a little white fur something for a Hello Kitty costume. It was very difficult to find what I had in mind. I came across Rent the Runway during my search. They had exactly what I needed. Even though it is feather rather than fur, this marabou capelet worked perfectly. Seemed like super soft fur. It has a hook/eye closure at the neckline, but I preferred it unhooked. Although I used it for a costume, it is a beautiful piece that would be perfect for a formal event. I am 5'11" and the size/length was fine, but I wonder if it might be too boxy/bulky on a smaller frame. It was also very warm. I ended up draping it on my arm during the event, which worked perfectly. It looked great. Thank you, RTR. I will definitely check here first next time I need something special!

I rented the black bolero and it had sleeves, but the white did not. Not a huge deal, but I preferred the sleeves..

This was my "something borrowed" item for my wedding. It was the perfect complement to my ivory dress, and I received a ton of compliments on it. My husband and I adore anything old fashioned. He wore a newsboy cap, and I wore this cape to our wedding reception in March in chilly and windy Illinois. This was my first rental from RTR, and the process was incredibly easy and flawless. My item actually arrived earlier than expected in the day, which was a blessing. I would highly recommend this item for any formal affair. It complements off-white very well.

I needed something to keep me warm on my wedding day in chilly San Francisco for my wedding. We had amazing luck with weather and it was actually a very nice day, but after our wedding lunch we went out and this was perfect for keeping me warm outside. There is a small hook at the top and you do have to hook it to keep it on - when I tried to keep it open it kept slipping off.

it looks wonderful, my wedding was in november and I needed to cover up while taking the pictures outside in front of the lake, totally recommend it.

I wanted a piece to cover my arms and shoulders if the weather was cold on the night of a client gala. This piece was perfect. In addition to being warm, it was soft and gorgeous and made the most elegant topper for my gala gown. It garnered several compliments.

Fit is great - I have broad shoulders and it kept it covered. Pretty warm too. I fluctuate between size 10 and 12 and this fits me well

Fur coat was a fun addition to the dress I rented. Felt like Hollywood and received many compliments. It was very comfortable to wear. Although it wasn't my original pick, it was a great second option.

Pros: High quality but affordable. In my shopping found that capes that have faux fur appeared more tacky and gaudy. This was a nice way to have something special for style (and warmth), and got tons of complitments! Cons: it occasionally rotates and requires adjustment, but this was minor.

I wore this over my wedding dress to keep me warm and and stylish. It added the perfect amount of glamour to my Old Hollywood wedding. It was the perfect added touch.

Item fit just fine and worked perfect for that vintage feel! It did have some panels hanging that I wasn't quite sure what to do with but they weren't that noticeable.

Pretty, although I worried a little about the feathers shedding. I didn't end up wearing it because it wasn't cold enough that day to warrant it. But it was true to it's description!

This capelet was in my RTR unlimited queue and was sent to me in August. Who in their right mind, you might ask, wears fur in August? Well, it was perfect for a boudoir shoot that I did at the end of the month. The photographer was dying to know where I got it and it made for some gorgeous photos.

I am a pretty small person, and the shall totally worked on me. My dress was ivory, and the shall is white, but it still worked and looked really elegant and cool with my art deco themed dress and accessories. I used it to take pictures outside for our winter wedding, but I didn't really wear it indoors or during the ceremony. It was great though. Highly recommend.

This fit perfectly. It was a perfect accessory for my 1920's themed black tie affair. Keep in mind it is feathers since it looks more like fur in the picture. Well worth it!
