Beautiful and classic. The fabric was comfortable and had stretch. The keyhole back gave it just a little bit of uniqueness.

Nice dress, but nothing special. This material is thick and it fits snug enough to hold everything in place. The length is a little long and it besides the cutout detail in the back, it is a little too simple.

The fit was fine. It's a great knit material. On a short girl it doesn't do much. No slit so it rides up when you walk. Thought it would be more interesting.

Take your casual up a notch with this comfortable and stylish black dress. You could dress it up or down. Love it and would rent again. Not too heavy of a weight so could wear it well into spring.

The knit material is super nice — substantial without being too thick, and very stretchy and flattering. The cut-out detail on the back is nice. Wore it to a theatre and was perfect — easy to dress up or down. Wouldn't have paid anywhere near full price for this because the dress itself was pretty simple, but was nice to rotate through!

For really nicely. Great for a dinner party, day-time date, etc.

Runs a bit big. I’m usually a M but could wear the S. Flattering, cut out makes a nice detail. The fabric is a little rough.

There was nothing wrong with this dress. It was comfortable. It is a nice thick almost sweater kind of material. I wore it to a wedding and I would say I blended in. It was nothing special but it served it's purpose. *Note: I was able to wear a bra normally without the band showing, I did have to change to one of my bras that has a smaller band though.

I own a couple other ALC dresses and find what's true of the ALC knits is that a single dress of this type is not meant to be worn by a bunch of different body types. My usual size (medium) was stretched out all over the place and not the usual form-fitting flattering fit you get with ALC. This particular dress is meant to be bought for a single owner - does not rent well.
