This dress was a lot better in person. I was nervous to rent because there weren't a ton of reviews or photos. The middle fits pretty tight, but because of the cut out it makes sense so it doesn't move around. I am 5'5, 130 lbs, size 34B. I usually wear between a 2 and 4 in dresses. I am glad I went with the 2 for this. The pattern and fit of this dress is just so unique and beautiful. I really enjoyed it for a late summer/fall wedding. I did however wear a longer black slip underneath. There is a black lining but it's not very long and when I bent over it road up a little. I had the slip so overall this was a perfect fit! I wish I could keep the dress, I got so many compliments!!!

I love this dress and may keep it. Can dress up or down and the bit of midriff is perfect to make it a bit funkier. The pic isn't showing much of it, but it fits well on my body (pretty straight up and down). Fabric is good for summer and is longer but the sleeveless and midriff keep it from being frumpy. A winner!

Loved this and it fit perfectly. It was a bit hard to get on but once I got the hang of it it wasn't bad. I can understand other wearers complaints about it being tight in the torso and loose in the chest. I'm petite with a large chest so that worked in my favor but it wouldn't for everyone. Even with my small ribcage I still got impressions from the elastic smocked bodice in my skin after wearing all day. Still, super comfy and cute and I would wear again.

I loved this dress! The fabric is silky and light and the fit is really comfortable and flattering. The peak at the waist is adjustable too, so you can show as much or as little (or none) as you want. I threw this on for a night out then also wore it to work with a black top underneath.

Unique dress, with a wonderful flow to the skirt with the asymmetrical hem. The waist band makes this look flattering on anyone and perfectly accentuates the natural waist. LOVE this dress!

Loved this dress for summer! I rented it through unlimited and wore it out to a rooftop party in the city. Because it was comfortable and light weight I threw it back on for a day of shopping. The elastic waist band in the middle can actually be closed completely so you shown no skin if you prefer. The middle is stretchy but fairly fitted so I would recommend potentially sizing up one size. The midi length (which I love) was perfect on me at 5'5 and would work for anyone a few inches shorter or taller. Overall highly recommend if your looking for a great casual day/night dress to mix into your wardrobe!

I really loved the boho vibes of this dress. The middle part is scrunched and tight around your midsection, but not too tight. I love the little cut out in the middle. You can make it bigger or smaller depending on how much you pull it down. This dress hit me a little above the ankles but the hem is uneven. I love the way it hugged me and gave me the appearance of curves. Great casual dress. Can be work with standard bra.

This is super my style… Flowy and with a muted print. It was kind of hard to get on and off because of the elastic. Also there is extra fabric on the chest and under the armpits for me since I am not that busty. A 2 would have been too tight on the elastic tho. Fabric is super light and airy and this would be good for a really hot humid day.

I paired it with a turtleneck underneath for cooler weather and then wore as is to a work event in the desert.

I ordered this dress for vacation but decided to swap it for something else because it was stretched-out/gapped under arms. I notice one other review said the top was ill-fitting. And the side view on the model shows it's designed like that. I don't like it when it gaps/low cut so you can see bra. And this dress wasn't flattering without a bra. Great fabric and I loved how elastic clinches waist area. I probably would have wore this once and returned but I needed something to take on a weeks holiday.

I'm a curvy/athletic girl (36, 29, 43) with a lot of junk in the trunk. The dress fit very comfortably as well as was flattering. Wore it to a casual brunch date on a hot day. Conservative enough to fit in with the family, after church crowd as well as feminine and flattering enough to be cute for a date. It also was nice and flowy, so the heat never got to me. Not long even on my short frame--only To my ankles. Not a show stopper or super memorable but it was unique enough to enjoy wearing once. Would definitely try this designer again. The elastic in the waist is snug, so may not be right for those who carry their weight in their mid-sections--I could see it easily creating a roll between the tight elastic peakboo areas or even not fitting.

I didn’t end up wearing this because it gaped at the armpits showing too much of my bra (and I tried this on with different bras but it was all the same). I’m 38DD and ordered Size 12 (my normal size), the rest fit great and it hits mid calf on a woman 5’2. The fabric had no stretch which is why it gaped so much at the armpit. The middle has an elastic band which is great because you can you can show as little or as much stomach as you want. Overall it didn’t work for me because of fit, but runs true to size for someone with a smaller chest than mine and is a beautifully cut and printed dress.

Started by a personal stylist to the stars, ALC is one of my favorite brands because it catches trends without being too literal and generally goes day to night with ease. I love this updated floral print that looks like an amoeba. The beauty of it is that the waist is stretchy so it's able to accommodate those a bit bigger and smaller as the gathered waist hugs the slimmest part of your body. You also can adjust it so the slit in the middle is hidden or more prominent. I actually owned this then lost it so I'm thrilled I was able to wear it again via RTR!

This dress fit perfectly! I felt so comfortable in it and loved the key hole feature. You could easily open it for that pop of sexy and keep it closed when you didn't want to show any skin. You can wear a normal bra with this dress. Don't be afraid of the print...it's better in person!

Cutout spends most of its life closed due to elastic waist band. Still gorgeous and flattering. Meant for a fuller chest, C+ is ideal, I am B and wore with padded bra. Lightweight material will not keep you warm.

I took this dress on vacation to New Orleans and ended up wearing it twice. The material isn't thick (but it is lined) so it's great for warmer weather. I paired it with sneakers in the day while walking around the city and with heeled sandals at night for a nice dinner out. The ruching on the stomach not only provides some wiggle room when you're eating, but also provides shape (very flattering for hourglass figures). Even though there's not too much give in material in the top, I still felt comfortable in (and could get easily in and out of) the dress. Overall, great rental... I want to buy this dress to keep!

I alway have the problem of not having a place to put my office badge when wearing a dress. This dress was great! I could hook my badge on the waist piece and go on with my day while looking fabulous.

Pulls over your head, easy to wear. Simple and fun, great for a summer day. Fabric "prettier" then the online photo.

The pictures do not do this dress justice, it is so fun and eye-catching in person. I would never have ordered it without seeing it in person, but I saw a friend wearing it and had to have it! I also think it looks much better on someone with a curvy figure than it does on the model. The length was great on me and I thought it fit true to size. I don't have a perfect midsection by any means and I still could pull this off as the elastic waistband acted like Spanx and sucked things in a bit. It's definitely a unique dress and the peekaboo stomach area makes it appropriate for family and casual events as you can choose to cover or hide your stomach. Will definitely rent again!

I rented this for my birthday dinner. Couldn't have loved it more! It's super flattering and comfortable. The elastic smocking at the waist is snug which I thought was going to make it uncomfortable but it wasn't! You are able to adjust how much skin shows at the cut out if that's a concern for anyone. It is on the long side so might look a little dumpy if you don't plan on wearing heels.

Love this dress! Its a beautiful print and incredibly flowy - its perfect for summer! The synched waist is super flattering too. It can definitely be dressed up or down depending on your needs.

Love the fit. If you have broad shoulders and small chest this could get tight. I was slightly self conscious about showing my belly but you can pull the elastic waistband up and voila, no skin to see here.

I loved the fabric of this dress but like other reviews I thought the sizing was weird. It gaped a lot under my arms making my bra clearly visible. I wore a bralette to make up for it because the chest felt too flimsy to go braless. It was also very tight in my rib cage which is unusual for me because my band size is a 32.

The center panel is pretty tight and and the top half is pretty loose. It had a weird fit in my opinion.

This dress was sent to me as a back up to my original order. My back up size was no longer in stock. This dress looked very comfortable but was very tight in my waist and large in the chest and arm area. Unfortunately, I was not able to wear either of my dresses for this event.

The fabric is light with a pretty pattern, and the design looked good on the model and in some reviews, but I think you must have to have a very specific body shape to wear this dress and have it look good. It fit me, so I guess it runs true to size, but the waist hit me at a weird spot, making my waist look short and odd, which it's not. I don't know. I wanted to like it, but I definitely did not.

This dress fit very oddly; the top was very baggy on me. The slit, which looks like it's small, is actually quite large and exposed too much skin for my taste. As a shorter person, the length was too long. Overall just not a good style for me! I think if you are tall and thin with a larger bust, this would look great on you.
