Not as you would expect from the picture! Not solid black. A lot of great colors mixed in. Very heavyweight material. On the shiny side. Can wear to work if your workplace is more in the dressier side. But fancy enough with the metallic in it to wear to a party. Totally loved this!

I ended up wearing this in a casual setting twice with a sweater type shirt. The picture is with a blouse that I tucked in when considering it for more formal affair. This is cool enough to wear with casual type Jed like shoes.

Very comfortable waistband. I normally wear a size 10-12 skirt due to my thick waist. I chose the Medium Regular, but since the waistband is elastic, a Small Regular might have been fine too. No pockets. The beautiful fabric is hefty enough for Winter, but probably too heavy for Summer. I am 5'2" and the hem hit me at the ankles - I wore short ankle boots and I thought the length was fine. It would look great with taller boots too if you want a mid-calf length for heights 5'4" - 5'6". Very versatile, can be dressed up or down. I wore a black sweater. I would definitely wear it again and I would buy it if I could.

This is TTS, maybe a bit big, so if you're between sizes I would size down. The XS was a little loose and a bit longer than I would've liked, but the fabric is beautiful. It's hefty! It's also a little thick, so it can make your waist look a little larger than it is. I liked this but didn't love the fit on me personally, being petite. I rented this for a fancy New Year's Eve at home with my partner, and it was fun for that!

Runs very large. Heavy material for colder weather, is a bit itchy (expected with glitter fabric) but tolerable. Elastic waist not the most flattering with the pleats, emphasizes any bit of love handles so I wore a coat over it. Ended up being a full length skirt on me but worked with boots. Debating if I would consider renting this again.

Wore this to work on a cold winter day, and the thick sweater material was very warm. It runs quite long, almost floor length on my 5'1" frame. The glitter is beautiful and multi-colored; I took a close-up to show the different colors.

Very comfortable knit skirt to pair with anything in your wardrobe. It looks very silver in photos but there's actually a lot of subtle multicolor threads throughout the fabric. Gorgeous! Runs a little big in my opinion.

I have worn this to work and two holiday parties. I get endless compliments. It's so comfy and feels like I'm wearing a sweater on my legs, even thought it's so stylish. It might run a bit big. I often wear a medium and this was a small.

I literally stole another girl's styling idea and big ankle boots was a perfect way to dress it down but the boots would have worked better if I were shorter or if the skirt sat lower. I'm a straight 2 and I got the XS. A S would have been more comfortable. The waist runs a little small and is kind of scratchy so between the tights, slip and waistband, there was a lot of pressure on my waist all day. It's a fun skirt and I did get compliments.

I really liked this skirt except for the length. Good winter fabric, sparkly and fun. The pics do not do justice to the subtle shimmery colors! I thought it was too long. The weight was too heavy for the length and I felt a bit dowdy. I would have loved it at a midi length at the calf.

The skirt was a bit long on my 5'2" frame, so i definitely didn't need tights with it. The waist was perfect and nice and stretchy. I got a few compliments on this glittery skirt and it was easy to dress down with sneakers and a sweater. Will possibly rent again for work or a nice dinner.

This skirt runs too long for my height but it's a lovely multi-color fabric that is thick enough for winter.

I rented this for a sparkle-themed holiday party and it was a hit! I paired it with a black bodysuit and heels, it was a very comfortable and not itchy at all (something I find often with glittery fabrics).

I wore this skirt for Thanksgiving and it was perfect. I was able to eat and know I was safe in an elastic banded skirt. The fabric is heavy and thick with quite a bit of sparkle. Pleats do add a bit of bulk to my body and I don't love that but renting stuff like this from time to time is why I love RTR!

This has a stretchy waist so it can adjust to you. Medium fit great. The skirt was super fun to wear. If it wasn't so expensive I would have purchased it.

Long and lots of fabric but beautiful. Runs large

This skirt is a lot of look, but it's fun. It's more of a rainbow glitter and not silver as I thought from the picture. I was able to style it casually for work. It fit very true to size. I'm generally a 4 and the S fit perfectly.

The skirt was thick and heavy making it great for fall/winter wear. I didn't like the way the waistband hugged my postpartum mid-section and tried it with various undergarments, but it just didn't look or feel great.

Others said it wasn't itchy, but I did not like how it felt against my skin. It was also way too long for my 5'2" self. It was heavy and did not have pockets.

This skirt is huge. It drowned my 5 2' frame in the length and thickness of the fabric. It is definitely a specific look but not one I was going for.

Very large waistband and loose elastic so just slid down due to heavy weight of the knitted skirt.

I am 5'8" and have no idea how anyone shorter than me could wear this skirt. It was down to my ankles. Disappointed.

Beautiful, beautiful skirt. It was also long (little past midi on me) and warm but not like sweltering. I want to wear it everyday. My little baby girl thought I was a princess. The shimmer and glitter are just right. You can pair this with a solid color tank of almost any color and it would still look amazing.

Wore this with an "ugly Christmas" sweater for work holiday party. It was a huge hit! It does run a bit longer than I anticipated, but I could have probably worn a bit higher on my waist to accommodate. Will try with the matching top for a more formal occasion also!

Who are all these reviewers that said this ran big? I am a 0/2 with a straight frame - I figured an XS would work fine. It was okay to wear for one evening but it was super tight in the waist and I would not want to wear it for more than a couple of hours. As other reviewers said, it is much longer than the model but as I am petite, I always expect that so wasn't disappointed. Wore with a black short sleeve sweater and kitten heels. My husband really liked it.

This looks cute on some of the reviews, but I couldn't make it work. It seemed frumpy and too much one.

Way too big, size down, also much longer than on the model. I had to return, but the fabric was sparkly and pretty. wish i had the right size!

I got this hoping to wear to a family holiday. The fabric is gorgeous and warm. However, it is heavy and not flattering to my 5 month pregnant belly. Too bad, didn't wear once.

The material is very itchy and no matter what place on my body I put the hemline it is bulky and bulges in that area; which isn't flattering. The color is nice & the weight of the skirt is good for colder days... but I would not rent again because of the latter.
