'm about 4.5 months pregnant and got this dress for a formal event. It was a great fit and easy to wear. I usually wear a size 10 so i got a size 12. I probably could have gotten away with the size 10 as there was a bit of room in the size 12. I thought it was a great dress for any one with a bump!

Loved this dress. Was concerned it would be too sparkly but not al all. The dark blue color and simple cut was a very classic look. The dress runs true to size, maybe a bit large but it was fine because of the straight lines. It's not a dress that should be snug. I'm 5'1" and it hit at my knees. Since the dress was sequins, I chose a pair of simple chandelier rhinestone earrings and no necklace. For shoes, I went with a silver metallic sling backs. This is a comfortable dress and I felt great in it.

I was 8 months pregnant when I wore this dress! Based on the comments, I went up 3 sizes & it fit nicely. Allowed room for the belly, but the top didn't swim on me. Definitely bump friendly.

It was so easy to rent. The dress was in wonderful condition. The fit was perfect and I received many compliments on it. I felt confident and pretty. I accessories with jewelry from Stella & Dot and Raven & Lily.

I'm a petite curvy girl and this fit me well. I think if I was thinner it would not have been so fitted and draped more. It was my favorite dress so far that I have rented. Great construction, subtle sparkle and good quality!

I LOVED this dress! I was great because it was different than many other sparkly dress options because it wasn't super tight, and because I have a large backside and hips, I appreciated the extra shift-style like room! I got so many compliments all night! And it truly looked navy not black. A wonderful dress for a special occasion!

Wore this to a holiday party and it was perfect. Comfy and festive, beautiful sequin detail. I usually wear a 4 in dresses and sized up to a 6 which accommodated my baby bump (5.5 months). I ordered an 8 as a back up size and it was too big. I would order this again as a non maternity option but would probably wear my normal size and size down for back up size.

Perfect dress for rent the runway because I'm not sure I'd wear a sparkly dress more than once! With a more "athletic build"--bigger hips and thighs for my size--I can go between a 4 and 6, and the 4 fit great. It wasn't too tight either (and I didn't want something super fitted), but judging by the model I was worried it would be shapeless and I don't think it was. If you want a more snug fit, then I'd probably order down a size. I don't think I remember it having much stretch though.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Fit true to size! It is a shift dress so meant to not hug your body. It is a dark blue dress but NOT black! When the lift hits it, it is very sparkly. I wear size 10, 38c, just under 5'8". I wore champagne gold sparkly heels but they looked silver. Wore silver jewelry. Love love loved it!!!

Great dress overall. Very comfortable, not too short, easy and fun to wear. I rented the dress for a New Year's Eve party. I am a size 12 jeans and rented the size 10 and 8 as backup because others had said it runs large. I expected the 10 to fit well but it was too large - I wore the 8 without shapewear. I wore a regular bra and black nylons. The dress was a great length - just short enough but comfortable to sit and stand. The dress is not hot and it has some stretch. The sequins are very small and the dress does look black, but in the right light you can see the blue. I loved the dress and would wear it again.

Pretty dress and color. I was a bit disappointed in the quality , but did appreciate being the first to wear it. I am usually a 4, but could have sized down rather than up.

This dress was so fun and sparkly! It was a little itchy with the sleeves but nothing unbearable. I loved it and was sad to send it back. It was perfect for the cocktail party I was hosting for work. Highly recommend!

had read reviews about wearing this pregnant. wasn't sure how it was going to fit over my 8 month belly. i am usually a 0, 5'3". i wore the 2 and loved it! easy to wear, comfy, felt like i looked awesome. had a blast with my husband - wore it for the USMC Ball. would definitely recommend it!

Super comfortable and I got so many compliments! It was a little short for my liking, but mostly just when I raised my arms. Receiving and return process was extremely easy. I do apologize for the terrible picture but it was the only full body from the night....which happened to be my engagement night! I looked fabulous for my work event and got to share the great news while doing it. I am already looking at more dresses to rent.

I wore this for a NYE party and it was such a fun dress. I received a ton of compliments. Like most of the other reviews stated, it is very shiny and the pics don't do it justice. Great dress for a celebration. The only size available was a size 4, so I took my chances and it ended up fitting perfectly. Like the model, I also paried it with silver pumps. I loved this look and would definitely recommend this dress!

I am currently 7 1/2 months pregnant, and the dress fit great. I am typically a size 8 and decided to try the size 10 and 12 based on other reviews. Both sizes fit well, but I went with the 10 only because the 12 was a bit large in the sleeves. The dress seems to run a bit large due to the shape of the dress (not form fitting). If you're not pregnant, you could probably size down a little and if you are pregnant, I would only suggest maybe one size up, depending on how far along you are.

Easy fit, easy to wear. Wanted long sleeves for a chilly night and liked the length. Just the dress I needed.

I rented this dress at 8 months pregnant for a Christmas party because I wanted to feel good about myself in a pretty dress, and not the maternity sweatpants and my husband's sweatshirts that I've been wearing recently. I'm normally a size 8, have gained about 45 pounds, and wore a size 14. The 12 fit but was a little snug and didn't fall right due to it not being cut as a maternity dress. I absolutely loved the dress and received so many complements at the party. And for once I didn't feel like a whale.

This is my first RTR and I'm just thrilled with the whole experience! This dress wasn't available in my size so I decided to go a size up. It was a little big thru the shoulders but no one could notice. It was so comfortable too, which was a surprise since its sequins. It did catch easy on jewelry and such so test out what you plan to wear before hand to be fuss free. All in all, loved this dress but glad I only rented it. It is fun to only wear a dress like this once. :)

Being 8.5 months pregnant with a wedding to go to, I didn't want to have to buy an expensive dress I would never wear again that would likely be hideous (maternity wear has gotten better, but it's still not great). I found this dress and saw that other preggos have worn, so I took the advice and ordered 3 and 4 sizes up. The dress is stretchy, but not super stretchy. It was comfortable, but even wearing the smaller size 10 (normally a 4-6), it was a bit too loose for my taste. The color of the dress was gorgeous. I wouldn't wear it without being pregnant since I like things to be a lot more form fitting, but it was cute and I got a lot of compliments .

The dress was great! So happy with my first experience of rent the runway. I read all the customer reviews and pictures on the dress before selecting a size. I usually wear a size 6 and i was nervous they didn't have a size 8 backup dress but the 6 fit great. It was easy to dance in. It didn't hug my small pooch tummy which makes me extremely self conscious. The ONLY problem i would say is the sequins sometimes caught on each other which made me nervous it would rip but otherwise AWESOME!

This dress was perfect for the holiday season and was festive and tasteful. I wore it with black nylons and black flats. I often have problems with the length being too short on cocktail dresses and this was perfect.

Very festive for a holiday party. It was a little on the short side for me, but otherwise I really liked it. I forgot to take a picture in the dress but it fit very true to size.

This was my first rental! The dress is listed as a dark blue/navy. When I got it out of the bag, it was BLACK. That was not a problem, it was still very comfortable and cute. BUT, as we started taking pictures, to my surprise, the dress photographed in dark blue/navy! So cute. It also have slight flecks of red and green in the fabric that do not show up in pictures. I paired the dress with black tights and black heels. Overall, I got tons of compliments and was completely comfortable. I could have worn the 6 with shape wear, but the 8 was perfect and loose! Was a great dress for the occasion. Definitely needed a statement necklace. When I first received it and tried it on, it was blah. But with hair and makeup and accessories it was perfect! I got so many compliments on it. I am still carrying some extra baby weight in the midsection so this was perfect. I might have liked to try on a 6 but the style of the dress allows for it to be a little big without being noticeable.

Wore true to size I thought. Very comfortable and flattering. Only thing I didn't like is that the sequins kept getting caught on each other. I had noticed a few snags on the dress when I first got it and that has to be the reason. I wore the dress for a night out, but there wasn't any dancing or a lot of movement and the dress was still getting caught. Overall, I thought it was a great dress!

It fit great! Definitely an appropriate dress for the event. Not too short. only complaint would be the sequins on the arms would stick to the body of the dress every once in a while. Other than that it was great!
