LOVE this dress! Perfect for work. This runs small, so I definitely recommend sizing up. This is best for A to C cups since there is not much stress in the fabric. You can absolutely wear a standard bra with this! Pair this with a black blazer and you're ready for the day!

This little tweed dress by Ali & Jay is so cute and fashionable! I love this so much but it definitely runs small. The arms are very tight which is difficult because the dress has no stretch. Definitely size up! I am more of a pear shape so it fit perfectly on top but was tight in my hips. Next time I would size up and rent a size Small. This would fit amazing on straight or narrow body types too. Overall I love this unique and fashion-forward look!

Dress was cute for work. It's pretty short, I wore with black tights and it still felt a little too short for work so it might be better for us petites. I took the RTR rec of a M (I'm normally a 2) and I'm glad I did. It fit like a shift- slightly boxy- but I liked it. Got lots of compliments! Thick fabric. Was going to put a long sleeve under it but I'm glad I didn't, it would have been too hot.

I wore this dress to my wedding shower in February and loved it! The thick texture was perfect for winter, but short hem made it cute to wear with heeled booties. I would definitely rent again (considered buying!). For reference I am 5'3" and 110lbs. and wore an XS!

Wore to work. This was a little short on me and I'm 5'0 so it wouldn't work on anyone not petite. Very cute shape, the pockets could be weird depending on where they hit, but for me they just accentuated my shape. The pics don't do it justice the material is really beautiful and the print is very flattering. The material is thick so it's better for winter. I ended up buying the dress!

Loved this thick tweed dress! I wore it 2 times and got compliments each time I wore it!! Only issues were the black thread/yarn was unraveling and I had to trim it off. Also, it's definitely a winter dress and not to be worn without tights!

Not sure I loved this... very short and I am 5'2! I recommend sizing up. Cute, boxy cut but not the most comfortable.

This dress was really pretty and the material was nice and thick. However, it is very short. I don't mind and I'm only 5'2'', but I could see it being way too short for a taller person. Also - I find that the sticker dresses are harder for RTR to clean. This had a slight BO smell in the armpits before I even tried it on. Also - it fit well and zipped up nicely, but was baggy in the stomach area. Some people may not mind, I prefer dresses more fitted.

Could be dressed up or down! It is quite snug in the arms with no give/stretch due to the lining! Size up.

This dress was tight, so I sized up, but it was still tight in strange spots - under my arms and around my chest but that was it. The material was also not great. The pockets made me look wide in the hips as well.

This dress has unique detail and stitching that can be dressed up or down depending on your occasion. I wore to work with tights and boots in the winter months. Can be dressed up with a blazer. You could also wear as a transition from summer to fall dress with wedges or booties. I am 5'4 and with heels this dress was very short, but with tights, manageable for work/professional event.

Adorable dress, but it doesn't even cover my butt fully. I'm 5'5", ~125 lbs and I'd say my torso is average length. The Small fit everywhere else perfectly. But so short. I was looking forward to this being a work dress, but sadly have to send it back.

If i raise my arms you can see things you should not. I got a medium thinking it may add the length necessary for work but hard pass

The dress was incredibly short and tight on my shoulders. I typically wear a medium or a 6/8 and even the large was unwearable. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is taller or has a more athletic build.

This was a great dress for work. Wore with black blazer, tights and flats because it was snug through my hips and rode up a bit. I carry the majority of my extra weight in my hips and low belly and the stitching sort of accentuated that. Still loved it and would rent again (sizing up).

I wore this to church with tights and boots. Super cute and comfortable! The length becomes and issue when you raise you arms. And it's a little snug through the top of the back. Maybe I could have sized up even though I usually wear a xs. I forgot that designer dress run a little smaller than the typical store brand dress. Still wearable. It's warm with a full liner inside!

This dress is perfect for work on a summer or early fall day! It's comfortable'd just the right amount of dressy without looking like like you tried too hard! It's actually much prettier and has more of a high quality feel than it looks to have online. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this dress! I was expecting something that looked much cheaper.

This is a great dress that worked well for a daytime work event. It was cold so I wore it with black tights and heels. The cut is really great - if you struggle with a straight figure and a few extra lbs around your middle, this is the dress for you. It is short and there is not a lot of stretch to the fabric around the shoulders and arms, so if you are worried about that, I would size up. Overall it was a great rental - I received a lot of compliments.

I am short, so the length was perfect on me. It was tight in the bust, but I do wear a DD, so if you are smaller, you will be more comfortable. I wore a black jacket over it and black heels.

I am normally between a S & M so I ordered the M to be safe and it was way too tight. Order up A LOT! It's so cute that I am reordering it again in a Large and am hoping it fits.

This dress is a little thicker than I would like for summer. I am petite and it fit me perfectly. However it might be short on taller women.
