I am only 5"4" and my concern was the length as most gowns are too long, but RTR said this dress would be the perfect length and it was. The fabric has a beautiful drape and hugs your curves perfectly. The bodice has an extra layer of the same fabric for extra support, which looks natural and doesn't add extra bulk. The slit adds a bit of sexiness!

I got the dress for a black the optional christmas party. The zipper was a little bit difficult, but over all the 0 fit like a glove. I typically wear a 0 or 2 and they didn't have a 2 for the weekend. It was snug in all the right places and is lower cut than the picture displays. I got compliments all night and it was just the vintage, classic look I was going for.

The fundraiser was more casual than I dressed for, but as my ensemble was performing, we had to attend in concert attire. Being the president of the organization, I opted for the "evening gown' look and it DID NOT disappoint! It fit wonderfully, though I will try a size down in the future with my free second size (I didn't do it this time as it was my first rental - live and learn!). Little loose around the bust and shoulders but nothing too loose. Loved the flow and fit! Will definitely be renting it for our spring concert!

This dress definitely runs large so I would size down for your first size ordered. It was so comfortable and great to hang out in! I wore it with the purple Oscar de la Renta Aragon Amethyst necklace and it was a showstopper.

I usually wear a size 2 or 4 depending on the dress. I ordered both sizes, and the 38R was tight on the bottom and too short. I went with the 40R which fit nicely on the bottom and was the perfect length, but was a bit big on the top. With the help of some strategically placed fashion tape, this one worked perfect.

It fit beautifully. I'm not very busty so I needed to pin the top, or I would've been too risqué :). The fabric gives, and the dress was comfortable! I would rent this again!

This was my first RTR rental and it was great. The dress was a bit big and low cut but a bit of fashion tape fixed that up. The return was easy too.

I added a crystal pin on the side above the slit. I had the perfect shoes-open toe black sling backs with silver sculpted 2 1/2" heels. I wore nude stockings instead of the sparkly blacks ones that I bought. I thought the black sparky stockings would have detracted from the dress and shoes. I could have used lingerie tapes to keep my bra from peeking out, but I didn't open the mesh bag that RTR enclosed with the dress, which contained hair products and lingerie tapes, until after the event. I didn't need hair products so I didn't open the pouch and didn't notice anything else. It was still a great look!

I wore this to a gala for my son's school. It was beautiful and very classy. The dress ran a little large which surprised me! I had to pin the shoulders to keep from showing too much cleavage. It was very comfortable to wear all night and dance in. I wore the necklace and earrings as shown in the photo. I loved the entire outfit! I received so many compliments - definitely worth it. I will be renting from RTR again. Great experience!

In regards to the fit, I could have utilized a 46R instead of the 48R. The dress was so...comfortable and my husband loved it. The dress does has a zipper under the arm and the material is soft. I LOVED IT!!!

However - the tag clearly states 48/12R. However I almost passed it by because RTR has it listed as 48/10. I really really wanted the dress - and it fits like a dream - on my "perfect size 12" body :) BUT - had I known I may have ordered the 46L and the 48R instead of the 48L which was way too big.

Looked awful on me, but would probably look good on someone with more of an hourglass shape. I am small breasted. It would be good for showing off if I had the girls to show off. This dress reminds me of something good to wear if you are in a choir or playing in a symphony.

The dress was too plain and the wrong size- could have used a size smaller. Did not wear it.

Everything about this dress was weird. The back hung strange and the tag which was loose, hung out the back of the dress. The front also had some weird shaping so that it poked out and I had to keep tucking in the material around the breasts. It is possible I needed a different size. Rent the Runway did not send me my back up size at the very last minute and the back up dress they sent me didn't work. They said they would refund me the cost of this dress but they never did. I was very unsatisfied with the entire process on this dress. Fortunately I have had other wonderful interactions with Rent the Runway, because if this had been my only interaction, I would never use them again. I was left without a dress that fit me well for a wedding that I was in, and I was very disappointed.

This dress was comfortable and form fitting. I loved it and got many compliments. The big plus for me was I was able to wear a regular bra with this dress.

I didn't end up wearing this but it is a lovely dress. Cut well and very flattering.
