This dress fit my body type very well (I know, so modest) - but to be more specific, the chest area is relatively big/spacey in relation to the waist size. It fell a little longer than I would like (only about 2 inches above the knee) but made the dress more conservative and with the material silky and lightweight, it was perfect for the rehearsal dinner I attended. The ribbon tie (provided with the dress) allows you to cinch the dress at the waist and create a nice figure. This dress is beautifully made, simple in structure but a unique pattern/look - I'd certainly recommend for those who are a little more busty (to fill out the top) and on the taller side (so it doesn't fall awkwardly at the knee).

This dress was comfortable, had a built in slip and I was able to wear a bra with straps. I was happy with how it fit and it was perfect for the mountain formal wedding I went to.

This dress photographed well. The colors are pretty and very vibrant. I loved the detailing on the shoulders, and the material was very nice. I wore it to a baby shower and it was perfect for the occasion. If you're busty, I recommend sizing up because it did run a bit small in the bust area. Over all, I was very happy with the dress!

Stretchy waist, does hit my knee so it is a bit longer in length. However, you can really wear for any occasion, dress up or down.

I LOVE the colors and pattern of this dress, and I'm pretty sure I got the right size but the fit was a little off. It probably should get 3.5 stars instead of 4 because of a few idiosyncrasies. The top was very baggy (though admittedly I'm somewhat small up there) but the waist and skirt were just right, so if I had gotten a smaller size it might not have fit. Maybe my torso was too short for this dress. Also, it was missing the belt that is supposed to come with it, but fortunately I noticed that in some of the other review photos and planned ahead, bringing a pearl-colored satin belt with me that worked pretty well as a replacement. It created some bunching in the back, but it looked good in the front! The dress would have been much more casual without the belt, so I'm glad I had a backup. The skirt is also quite long, so if I had worn this to the wedding reception instead of the rehearsal dinner, it might have been difficult to dance in. Not sure I would rent it again because of the awkward fit, but I'm glad I got to wear it once!

I thought I would have to wear the size 44 of this dress, but I fit the size 42! The bright pattern and very soft, light fabric was easy to wear. The top was a bit big on me but, as a B-cup, I'm used to that. A couple small pieces of fashion tape held it together just fine. I'm a bit soft around the middle and I felt the the patterning and lose fabric disguised that very well without looking like it was meant to disguise. I felt confident and beautiful in this dress!

Size 40 was unavailable, so I rented 38. Since it is smaller than I usually wear, the bust area was a bit tight for my 32DD chest. The rest of the dress fit fine. Bad judgement on my part for not thinking about how cold I would be as soon as the sun had set. The dress would be better suited for warmer weather. Overall, I really did like what I wore. It was very comfortable, light, easy to put on (except for the bust part), and photographed well.

Had my eye on this dress for a long time - the colorful pattern is beautiful. I wore it to a casual spring wedding in Florida. As other reviews note, plan to bring your own sash to give it some shape. The fit is loose and comfortable.

This dress fits true to size and can dress up or dress down. I wore this dress to a bridal shower and received many compliments. Love the colors and pattern.

This dress is SO NICE. It's light and flowy, and looks beautiful with or without the belt. I found it to be a little tight around the waste, but not so much that I was uncomfortable. It's definitely as long as it looks in the picture, and does not get shorter with the belt. The pattern is stunning!

The fabric, cut and pattern were all perfect for a summery event. It was so comfortable and flattering.

I wore this dress while on vacation in Arizona. It was cute and flattering for my pear shape (though the slip was a little snug underneath). The 42 fit me well and I am usually a 4 or 6 in dresses.

This dress was beautifully construsted and I loved the attention to detail, especially at the shoulders where the fabric is gathered. I ordered the dress expecting a warm day, but being in Minnesota, it actually snowed in April! I threw on a cardi and said to heck with it! Got tons of compliments. This is a conservative dress. Would be great for weddings, showers, or summertime business events. The fit is forgiving and flattering!

It was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. Get a size smaller than usual!

I had my eye on this dress for a while and an afternoon vineyard wedding seemed like the perfect opportunity to wear it. The colors and fabric are really beautiful and didn't disappoint. I got a size 44 because they didn't have a 42, and the 46 as a back up. Unfortunately, it was too big. I am a 34D and it was very blousy on top, making me look a lot bustier and bigger than I am. The grosgrain ribbon included helped cinch my waist, but there was extra fabric and it was just a little too big. I think the 42 would have been a perfect fit. Would definitely recommend because it is so beuatiful, just be sure to get the right size! I'd size down.

This dress is very pretty, lightweight and comfortable. The pattern is unique without being too loud. Overall, it was a good choice for an informal wedding in Florida.

Loose, flowy dresses are not for me. Not sure why I thought this one would be different. Nice pattern. Just not right for my body.

The colors are really beautiful and the pattern is just as great as the pictures! This dress is super easy to wear, light enough for a warm event, and the length was perfect (I am tall.) The only fall back for me was the waist- it really needs a belt. Other reviewers mentioned this and I wish I could have found one that worked. Overall this dress is great!
