The dress was too long but I used the tape provided to me to hem it and it turned out fine. The top is really beautiful and flattering.

This dress is so elegant! I love the Grecian feel of it! The material falls so nicely, and the color is stunning. The V-neck is pretty low, so I would definitely recommend using fashion tape to secure it in place. The back is also low cut, so either a Nubra or a low-back bra is necessary. It also runs a bit long - I wore the Regular length with 3.5 inch heels, and it was the perfect length! I would definitely recommend this dress - super comfortable and elegant!

I wore this gown to my wedding reception. Though it was not the dress I originally ordered, I was very pleased with it. The fabric is light and soft and flows in a really lovely way when you walk. It almost feels like you're wearing very elegant pajamas, it's so comfy. The cut is pretty low, but they send you fashion tape (which I ultimately forgot to bring to the hotel, and even without it I didn't have any wardrobe malfunctions). You'll need a low-back bra. The color looks a bit off in my photo because of the camera flash, but it's actually very true to what's pictured on the model. (It matches David's Bridal lapis almost exactly!) It is quite long, as the previous reviewer mentioned. I'm 5'9" and a regular came right to the floor.

This dress is amazing. Unfortunately, at the time, they didn't have my size in 40R, so I got it in 40L, which, still fit just fine, I just needed a higher heel. I loved how classy this piece looked, while still looking sexy.

I loved this dress!! I didn't want a black dress and this color was perfect. The design is very flattering and forgiving. I ordered a long because I'm 5'9", but it was too long, even with my highest heels. Unfortunately, the regular length wasn't available for the date I needed so I had to return this dress. I was disappointed because it was going to be AMAZING!! Anyway, I'll try it again soon. Very pleased with the customer service, the quality of the gown and ease in mailing it back.

I am 5'7" and ordered the long based on stylist recommendation. Even with 5 inch heels, the dress dragged on the floor. Only order the long if you're taller than 5'9". The overall fit was good. A 40 fits like a size 4. Unfortunately, I couldn't wear the dress and had to spend most of the day of the event shopping for a formal dress to wear.

This is a gorgeous dress - the color is lovely and a nice change from black without being too in your face. The fit was true to size and the fabric are very comfortable, but as other reviewers have noted, it's super long. I'm 5'9" and was wearing 3.5" heels, so I ordered the long, and it draped all over the floor. Also, I was surprised that the fit notes say you can wear a normal bra with this, because you definitely can't. The V in the back is way too low for that. Anyway, none of that mattered because the zipper was broken on the dress I received, so I couldn't wear it anyway.

The dress is beautiful, but runs slightly large (definitely opt for a size down for your backup size. The real issue I had is that the long was WAY too long. I am 5'11" in bare feet and was wearing 4 inch heels. Even so, I would have needed to take the dress up at least 3 inches - I'm trying to imagine who would be able to wear the long?

This was my first choice rental for a semi-formal fall wedding on the West Coast. RTR contacted me (FAR) in advance to let me know the dress might not be available, and they had me pick a new dress (plus back-up size) just in case. As it turned out this one did arrive, but I was glad to have the back-up. The material of this dress is beautiful and soft -- super stretchy knit that makes the look a bit more casual. On the downside, it was so stretchy and loose that it diddn't drape well or hold itself in the right places, so I looked a bit like a melting mess. The V is also VERY deep, made worse by the melting issue. I can't remember for sure if it was the 42 or 44 I tried on, but either way it was a fail. Super happy with the way RTR handled the whole thing, though -- especially since I was able to pre-pick my back up (Herve!) and didn't have to worry about anything.
