I rented this dress for a funeral and I had never thought to rent a dress for this type of an event however the circumstances were very sudden and tragic of a person very close to me . My week consisted of planning a funeral and dealing with all of the technical things after a sudden death and grief and renting this dress took about 1 minute instead of going shopping or searching through and trying on some of my old clothes . On a terrible week to be able to save that time was priceless . On a day when many people are looking at you and your already feeling terrible inside it was nice to look good on the outside . I got a ton if compliments on the dress and I was comfortable all day. The dress was very appropriate for the occasion a gorgeous deep navy- the lace detail at the top was beautiful and the length was perfect off the occasion . It runs true to size if not slight big and has great stretch to it. Very cool and comfortable . I would Definately rent this dress again and highly recommend the dress and rent the runway to everyone

This dress is incredible, I wish there was an option to buy it!! After reading some reviews about this dress being too "matronly" I was nervous, but as soon as I tried I on I was delighted at how well it fit and looked!!! I felt so comfortable in this dress, it hid every imperfection and extenuated every good feature! Now for the customer service aspect (I had a slight emergency...my first time using RtR and they could not ship one of my sizes...enter panic mode) the stylists picked out a similar dress and sent it in my backup size. Now for the event I was attending I needed to wear a navy dress with sleeves, well not knowing this the stylists sent a black dress. Once I advised customer service I needed a navy dress for the next day they searched for one that would match what I needed then had it shipped next day to me. I wish every customer service interaction with every other company went as pleasantly and well as the one I had with RtR!!! They truly saved the day. I can not rave enough about this dress (and company) will 100% be renting again!!

This style has a lot going on, but it all works! It's very stretchy and super comfortable. The lace is also really soft. The sleeves are fun and flattering. Your curves are definitely hugged and accentuated with this style, but in the most flattering way, though. The ribbed bodice can hide any imperfections throughout your midsection. The styling of the dress, somehow, makes it work for any age. The winged sleeves keep it young and fun but it is also a conservative style that would work for a hip Mother of the Bride. I liked this style a lot more in person!

I received multiple of compliments about this dress. The dress has beautiful details in the front and back of the dress. The fit was true to size and it was comfortable.

This dress was nice. I didn't think the sleeves made it too matronly as other people said. As with most Adrianna Papell dresses it runs big.

Recommend going one size down, it's a bit big in the bust area but very flattering around waist. I am 5'6 and the length was an inch past my knees- which is comfortable!

Layering on dress gave it a slimming look.

Blue, ladies. This dress is BLUE! Not black, as anticipated. Although, it doesn't state a color anywhere. Thanks to the lighting is wasn't very noticeable, but you can tell from the pic with my friend that it's Blue! My husband and I coordinated based on a black dress. I wear a size 16 and am a 38D. The 14 fit and had a little room to spare in the bust. I very mature, but not matronly, and sexy. The model is 5'6'' so it did hit a little lower at the knee for this 5'3'' gal. Overall, I wasn't disappointed, but the color is important!

This was a backup dress that was overnighted after the original dress I ordered wasn't right for me. I picked this in such a rush that I thought it was black and was so happy when it came and it was navy! the top is very flattering, and the sleeve perfectly disguised my arms. The mid section was a little snug, but spanx did the trick, as the size up was way too big. I got compliments all night on this dress! Thanks, RTR!

So, I noticed the comments said it ran large. I normally wear an 18. The 16 fit perfectly!

Dress is absolutely gorgeous! In between sizes so ordered the 16W and. 18W, both to big. Called and they overnighted the 14W. Could have worn but already had alternate dress. Customer service is very helpful.

Complicated closure in the back (hubby struggled to zip / hook this one up). Lace detail gorgeous. Nice stretch - I would recommend ordering a size down. Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous! I would rent this dress again in a heart beat - or pay to own it!

Didn't get my original delivery and the wonderful woman at RTR sent this dress to me via overnight Saturday delivery. Let me say it did not disappoint. Covered all the flaws and the color (a deep navy) photographed so beautiful in photographs.

This is a lovely dress. I usually wear a 16 but the 14 on this one was perfect. It is really very figure flattering. I thought I wanted something with sleeves because I am selfconcious of my arms, but it was a little more matronly than what I wanted. I ended up renting a different dress. RTR was fantastic in making sure other options were available to me in time. This was my first RTR experience and I will definitely use it again! I got many compliments on the dress I did wear(Theia Side to Side Sheath)

I rented this dress to wear to a professional but expensive gala, and while it fit those criteria, when I got the dress I didn't like it. The fabric was heavy, and I didn't like the cut of the dress over my chest. The sleeves are very cute though. The dress was also too big, and i didn't like the length on me, since I am short, but wear a 16/18. But I was just picky. I ended up wearing the other dress that I ordered. Just a little thing though is that the folds in the lower part of the dress are pretty popular these days. I saw a lot of similar folds at the event when I attended.

Fit was fine, but the sleeves make this dress appear far too mature for the event I attended. Chose not to wear it.

The dress is a gorgeous deep blue, even though it looks black in most pictures. It fit like it was made for me! Not tight, but form fitted! And it did not show any of my lumps and bumps. I loved it and my husband complimented me about 100 times! I liked the lace capped short sleeves. It was not itchy like some lace can be. The length was at the knee (I'm 5'6"). I wear either a 16 or 18 and the 16 fit perfect! I highly recommend this dress!

It was the most comfortable dress I have ever worn. It fit perfectly! It was very flattering, which isn't always easy with plus sizes. I received many compliments on it :)

I was concerned that the dresses would be too "young" for me. This dress was perfect for me and was a great dress for a wedding. It was true to size. I wear a 14 and the 14 fit perfectly. I will definitely use this service again.

Fit good, but needs a strapless or black bra due to the lace on the sleeves. Didn't wear this as I liked another one better.

I'm out the cost of an 8-day rental because the 16w (a size or two larger than I normally wear -- I had ordered it along with a 14w, my usual size, just for "insurance") didn't fit with enough room to move comfortably. Yes, I could get into it, but I would have felt like a stiff mummy! In addition, the short fluttery sleeves accented the worst part of my upper arms which admittedly aren't my best feature; and the solid vertical "bar" through the sheer lace on the top bodice made the dress look sort of bondage-y on me... I am 64 and while still a live wire, I'm not going for that look at my son's wedding! I lucked out with another brand dress in the same navy color but smaller size at a department store after I realized (with two days to spare) I wouldn't be wearing this one. I appreciate the rapid response, size selection, and convenience of RTR and will probably try again someday.
