Great dress for a black tie event. Got compliments all night and it's extremely comfortable. Spent 2hrs dancing in it and never felt restricted.

I loved this dress. It was actually my back up dress, but I felt much more comfortable in it. I wore it for a black tie wedding. My only complaint is that it kept catching on my shoes. Not a huge issue if I held it a little while walking.

I have bigger hips and rear so the fit was great because it was flowy. Fit my upper body perfectly as well. I'm a 34C and the top was perfect. It could've used more padded cups (they're more of a thicker liner) but I felt comfortable and beautiful all night.

The dress fits true to size. Super comfortable. I wear this for a MardiGras Ball.

You guys. What is up with the shapes of designer dresses? I'm a size 12 in everything I own. I'm a bit more Apple shaped after three kiddos, but still within normal human woman proportions. Allllll of the dresses are meant for hourglass shapes. So there's that. After 10 dresses tried at home, I ordered this size kind of as a joke in a moment of frustration... and it fit like magic. Petite was the way to go... but I'm 5'6"... so yeah. 5'6, size 12? Cool, size 20P then. Perfect. So, that's why there aren't 5 stars. This dress will remind you that you're not a Barbie shaped creature, but - I felt like a princess on the red carpet. Brand Carlisle said she loved the lace :) Sorry for the name drop, but how cool is that? xo

I heard about this site from my cousin. I was stressing to find a dress to wear to a Mardi Gras ball, since I'm so short, it's had to find a petite in a size 14. I ordered the last minute, but it's true it arrives on the same day you choose. I'm 4'11" and with heels the dress was the prefect length. And was true to size, only thing I had troubles with was the zipper towards the top of the dress. So that part is a two person job. But it was a beautiful dress!

I am 5'10, so finding long dresses is challenging, tall girls want to wear heels too! I wore the 8L with a 2.5" block heel. I would have preferred it to be another inch or two longer, but overall, I was very happy with it! If you have a larger rib cage, I would size up one. I loved the ease of the bottom of the dress, and the slit was perfect!

Comfortable, good feeling fabric... the lace was not itchy.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous and fit extremely well. It was flattering but not tight around the stomach and hips so it was comfortable to wear all night. The slit added an element of sexiness to it without being over the top. The very edge of the lace neckline did rub my neck a bit throughout the night, but not enough to leave a mark, just enough to be slightly annoying. I would definitely wear it again.

This dress was so beautiful and a pleasure to wear. I rented it for a formal photo shoot that I did with my husband and child. It was absolutely perfect.

This dress was very comfortable. Had built-in cups so no bra needed. I wore three inch heels and it was the perfect length. There was a band that fell around the lower part of the bust that was tight and offered no flex. I recommend ordering a size up as a second size.

The dress material was amazing... I was fairly hot all night... but not so bad I was suffering. The length of the dress was perfect... I wore maybe 3" heels. With my large chest... it was difficult to figure out how I was going to tame these girls without a bra... but I found a bralette that was just lace all the way around... because the front of the dress was lace... the back of the lace bra just looked like part of the dress. The zippers... on EVERYTHING that I tried on SUCKED!!! They were hard to zip up and would get jammed all the time. But... I got it to work and was in love with this dress. I suggest this dress for any and everyone!

I loved this dress! Especially for the price (with my $30 off). I returned the $130 dress I didn't need that I had as a back-up just in case I didn't love this dress. It arrived a day earlier than expected and the free second size really allowed my to decide what I liked best. The fit was true to size in my opinion. I actually wear a 12 or large in everyday clothes (slacks, jeans, t-shirts, etc) and both the 12 and the 14 fit me but I had a bit more breathing room in the 14. I carry my weight in my stomach and thighs so the flow of the dress hid that beautifully. I loved the sexy, not-too-revealing top and the occasional peak-a-boo of the leg. I got so many compliments!! It was a little long for my height as I am not comfortable in super tall heels. I wore 2 inch heels and the dress lightly swept the floor. Another inch would have been perfect. The ease of the return was awesome!! Will definitely use the service again!!

The dress fit perfectly the length was perfect for my heels. The back of the dress is cut low, very elegant. I felt so beautiful in this dress. The slit was perfect height, and just enough sexy to be formal.

Loved it! It ran a little smaller than I expected so I ended up with the bigger size.. which was slightly big on but worked! I loved the lace front and the back and the slit.. and everything about this dress! I felt so glamorous at our Oscar themed charity event!

I rented this dress for a tribute show to female music artists-- 2nd year using RTR to be Adele! Great choice this year-- comfortable, though fitted just below the bust line. While the deep-v is made more modest with a nude underlay (underneath the lace), the slit adds some extra va-va-voom. Just barely skimmed the floor in 3+ in heels

Just as the other reviewers mentioned, the dress is extra tight in the rib cage. I could fit the 12 but wore the 14. Getting the dress zipped is a two man job. Use candle wax for difficult zippers. The front slit gave the dress a little something extra. I was unsure about the open back initially. The padding in the dress kept everything in place. The length of the dress was perfect with my 4 inch heels.

This dress is true to size, and very comfortable. I have worn this designer before and all of her dresses are made incredibly well and are very comfy. I wore this to a wedding at an art museum and it was perfect for the occasion!

Wore this to a black tie event and it was perfect (pic is from trying it on - photos from the event are pretty dark!) flattering on my midsection and for nicely in the bust. I did wear a backless bra but only because I've had two kids and my bust could use the extra support. I definitely could have gone braless though. Received many compliments throughout the night. Was a little long even with 3.5" heels

Had enough structure to wear without a bra which was great. Love the slit for a little sexy but still very classy for a fund raiser/gala event. Very flattering to hour glass shape.

I received so many compliments on this dress. It fit true to size and was comfortable to wear for an extended period of time and while dancing. I am presently nursing a 3 month old and needed to pump occasionally during the event while I was away; I appreciated that I was able to unzip this dress without assistance back in my hotel room. The dress also provided enough support to my DD-size-Milk-Filled tatas. :) I am 5'7" and found that the regular length dress was an appropriate length with 3 inch heels. This dress is also flattering on your mid-section (if you're 3 months post-partum like me and feeling a little pudge); I think it would also work for a first trimester pregnancy. The attention is definitely drawn away from your tummy/hips/waist area.

I rented this for a firefighters ball. I had a baby last year and my body isn't what it used to be. The fit was very flattering, I have big hips and breasts so this fit just right.

This dress was absolutely beautiful and just right for the formal affair I attended. I am about 5'5 and even with 3" heels, I still needed to pick this dress up to walk in. Hides every insecurity in the tummy area you could think of and has a beautiful low cut back. I didn't need to wear a bra with this, and I felt secure all night. The lace is modest, so you won't be showing off everything. Flows away from the body and is super flattering all around. I cannot say enough about this dress!

Fit was perfect. I'm 5'6" and used a small heal still. Did not need a bra because of padding. Was perfect!

The dress was very comfortable, the slit was fun. You cant wear a bra with this dress. I’m normally about a size 16 but the 14 fit me perfectly and held my girls in place, even with all the dancing I did. I received so many compliments on this dress. I would highly recommend it. The material is very light and flowy. It would compliment mostly anybody type I would imagine.

The dress fits true to size! I thought I would be a 10L and I was. I am 6'1" and the Long fit perfectly with flats. The only issue is the dress is really hard to zip right at the top. Even with the dress being the correct size the last inch is hard enough you will need another person to help.
