This dress was so incredibly comfortable to wear! I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. This was actually my back-up dress. It fit very well and wasn't too tight or too loose. I definitely had to wear high heels with this dress, and it still hit the floor. But it made for a nice train. I would recommend it for any black tie or formal event.

This dress was actually my second choice/backup but won my heart with its comfort level! As a new mom I loved that it had the perfect amount of stretch and you could MOVE in it. Stayed in place all night and you can even wear a regular bra with it! The length is great but just be aware the its a little shorter on the bottom in front and longer in back. I'm 5"6 and was fine with the Regular length.

The mermaid style of this dress is subtle, but exceptionally flattering. It's double layering allows for a smoothing effect and is thin enough to be worn in warmer climates. I'm in central Texas, so this was perfect.

As other reviews mentioned, this dress is extremely flattering on curvy figures. I wore spanx underneath but overall the dress fit perfectly on me and I was comfortable dancing in it the entire night! The bottom was a little too long on me but I wore a short heel anyways so it ended up being fine.

Was a little surprised I had to go with a 12P, but with hips and height size was perfect.

This dress fit me perfectly except for the length! I ordered a 16R and I’m 5’2”. I’ve never experienced a dress being too short on me but it was 7” off the ground with no heels on! I contacted RTR customer service & they sent me 2 more dresses overnight because of the defect of this dress but this one ended up fitting me best so I wore it. Honestly no one knew but me that it was supposed to be floor length, it looked like it was supposed to be tea length! Overall, I was comfortable in the dress all night and received lots of compliments!

This dress checks all the boxes for a black tie wedding, but just wasn't as special as another I found. Can wear a regular bra, color and lace pattern are flattering.

I ordered this dress last-minute for an important formal event. I loved it! The horizontal and vertical lines on the dress accentuate your figure, but the stretchy material and black color make for a very forgiving fit. This is a terrific, "safe" dress that strikes the balance of both conservative and flattering. Note: I am 5'5", and I ordered the 2L because that was all that was available. I was surprised that the "long" worked if I wore 3-inch heels. As a reference, I am about 115 pounds.

I am 5'4" tall and weigh 160lbs. This dress fit great, I felt classy and it was very appropriate for my formal affair.

Gorgeous and comfortable. Received compliments all evening. The fit was true to size, though I'm glad I got the long length. It was extremely flattering and I would wear it again in a heartbeat. Very easy to move in and to sit in during the ceremony. I'm SUPER busty (H/I cup) and it covered everything and created a nice silhouette.

This dress is perfect for dancing the night away, and not having to worry about whether your mom belly is showing. It is a nice thick fabric with slip and is very stretchy. The black color and decorative lines are slimming. I never know if I will be a size 10 or 12 and I was a very comfortable 10 in this dress. I wore tights underneath for some extra support (and to avoid dancing barefoot later) and I don’t think I have ever been more confident dressing up after having my two kids. Highly recommend.

I wore this to the Emmys! This dress has some good stretch. It was so comfortable to wear and sit in. I’m busty and this dress allows any type of bra underneath. Tip: The “nude” panels look see through in the picture but they are not. It also has a mini train in back that drapes on the floor a bit.

I rented this dress for Mary Kay Seminar Awards in Dallas The dress fit perfectly. It’s true to size. I ordered long and I’m 5’2”. If you are tall it would not be long enough. I will rent again.

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding I went to. It was so comfortable because it has a stretch but the stretch doesn't get baggy. I am 5'3 and this was the perfect length with some wedges. If you want to wear flats I'd say get petite. Will always use RTR for weddings now.

Dress is simply and flattering. The front of the dress is shorter then tea length, back hits the ground. You need some dramatic shoes to show off because they will be oddly noticeable. I am only 5'4", no formal dress has ever been too short.

This was a great fitting dress. Not overly tight or loose. Heavier fabric was nice for a colder evening. As others mentioned, it's shorter in the back and longer in the front. I'm 5'3" and was able to wear the size 0 with 3-4" heels.

This dress fit perfectly. I'm usually a size 4, but since the material has stretch to it, I wore my backup size. Extremely comfortable! I am 5'7" and wore 2 in heels. The dress is a little longer in the back, so it touched the ground but didn't get in the way! I absolutely LOVED this dress!

I was a little worried about renting this dress as all my weight is in my gut but with a little help from body shapers I felt so amazing in this dress. It was right on the cusp of being too short and I wish the long was in stock but I was able to wear a flat nice sandal and it was the perfect lenth. It was a very formal event for my husbands work but I felt great all night. It had some stretch in it so you were able to dance in it. I wore a sweater over it most of the night as I'm slightly self concious about my arms and it was cold in the event hall. Ignore the cheesy photo unfortunately its the only one I took all night :/ very pleased with RTR and will be using them again.

This was my firsT experience with RTR and I was amazed at the ease of the rental. The dress was beautiful, comfortable and the process was so easy! I highly recommend RTR & would rent this again in a minute. I felt beautiful all night long. I did wear spanx under the dress to help smooth my trouble areas.

This dress was a dream! So simlpe and beautiful! I was anle to wear a regular bra! Very comfy! It was a little too long on me because I had to order a long but worked out fine. It was really an effortless dress too, i didnt have to worry about it falling down or scratching or anything, it was just comfortable and simple and perfect!

First of all, I could wear a regular bra with it, need I say more? The material is very forgiving so I ended up wearing my back up size (4P). It provides great structure and silhouette. I believe I wore 4 inch heels with it and it hit just right. The center line down the dress is flattering and draws the eye inward, thus giving the appearance of a thinner waist line. So that's amazing!

Rented this dress for a Black Tie wedding and it was a dream come true! Im 5'11" and between sizes so I ordered the 14L and 16L, and the 14L fit like a dream. Im a tall, curvy girl to begin with and this dress accentuated the assests without making me feel self consious and was the perfect length with heels. Very stretchy and forgiving and receieved so many compliments. Highly recomend!

The only con about this rental was that I rented it two days prior to my delivery date and had to get a long in my size. Totally my fault! It made for a nice train on the dress :) overall this dress is perfection. I love that the fabric is heavy enough so you feel covered. The simplicity of the dress makes it stunning. It is true to size so go with your normal dress size. Loved wearing this dress to my sorority's debutante ball!

I loved this dress. It fit perfectly. No shapewear required. I found it to be true to size. It was super comfortable and, unlike most gowns I've rented, not dragging the floor. I wore fairly low heels, and it was perfect. It is a little shorter in front than in back - good for showing off cute shoes.

Being a curvy/busty lady finding dresses that fit perfectly is a challenge. This dress fit in all of the right places, while looking extremely elegant. The fabric was slightly stretchy which was both comfortable and forgiving. Highly recommend this dress!

It is a very stretchy material so I would order your typical size and a smaller size as a backup. This is what I did and ended up wearing the smaller one.

Pros: Perfect length, great fit for curves, great to dance in (lots of stretch). Con: A little big in the arms & the zipper kept bunching up in the back.

I'm usually a standard 6 and worried this would be too tight because I was wearing it to a work awards dinner, but quite the opposite. It was too large through the waist and made me feel frumpy. I clipped the back of it for this photo to see if I could somehow make it work but decided to go with another option I had. The bottom also flares out so I think it would look better if tighter throughout the legs instead of loose fitting before the flare.

I'm 5'5 and the regular was perfect. If you are in between sizes I would size down. I probably could have done the 6. It's a great material and so flattering.

The dress arrived in great condition but it was pretty wrinkled - after steaming it, I was very happy with it. It's more affordable than most long dresses on RTR but looks very classy and was super comfortable. The dress was slightly loose in the waist but fit me perfectly everywhere else. I normally am either at 4L or 6L but the 6L was way too big. I wore 3 inch heels - the dress is slightly shorter in the front so the heels were visible but necessary with the longer back. I'm 5'10 so the length definitely worked for me.

I tried this dress on at the Chicago store two days prior to my event in a long. Loved the way it fit but it was a little long because I planned on wearing flats. I ordered it in a regular length for my event. I didn't try it on at pick up and wish I had. I would have preferred the long. The regular felt more like a short. Either way it gets 5 stars because for the first time in a long time in a nice dress, I didn't feel plus size in this dress. It hit in all the right places and was comfortable. I could wear a regular bra and spanx and had no lines and was smooth. I would love to rent this again!

Dress runs true to size and the regular was the perfect length for me with 3" heels (I am 5'4"). Super flattering for women with curves- hugs in all the right places but the fabric has a lot of give so it doesn't feel skin tight and is super comfortable. I wore this for a wedding and was able to sit/stand/dance the night away feeling confident in how I looked and comfortable with the dress (it also doesn't wrinkly easily and holds its shape nicely because of the fabric). Would definitely recommend!

I wore this to a formal Gala. It was a great dress and I received many compliments. I wish the dress had been a few inches longer. It hit at my ankle and I would have preferred a bit longer.
