The overall fit was true to size I felt, though for busty girls there is not a ton of wiggle room in the chest. I had never been to a formal event before and this dress made me feel truly beautiful for the first time ever! The pockets were a huge plus as I didn't need to bring a clutch and i was comfortable all night. The only draw back of this is the length, I am very short (5'0") and with 4" heels it was still brushing the floor so any shorter gals will need some hem tape or some serious heels! For my first time renting with RTR, I'm extremely happy and will rent again for sure when wedding season rolls around!

Dress fit great. It was a little small in the boob area. However, it fit so sung, I could go without a bra and I still looked great. It was a little long in the back but I liked it. It was like having a train.

I wish I had the option to purchase this dress. I usually wear a 16 but after reading the reviews I ordered a 14w and 16w, and long behold the 14w fit PERFECT! With the right accessories this dress was definitely a show stopper. The best part is that it has POCKETS!!!! Nothing better than having a dress with pockets, am I right ladies?!

This dress was perfect and comfy for a black tie wedding. It has pockets! The length was okay with heels and the fabric was very flowy. I will say it came wrinkled and was very hard to steam but once I got it unwrinkled it did not re-wrinkle.

I must admit, this dress did not wow me. It was black. Black feels formalish... I figured it would be okay. Once I put it on....I was in love! The major draw was that it had pockets. Once I got over that, it looked amazing on. I'm very tall so it's hard to find floor length gowns. High low seemed like a no brainer. Initially I thought I would need belts or brooches to add a bling factor. Not the case. The dress was just beautiful. I'm very busty so it was a tight fit. Not uncomfortable. Just tight. The pin tuck pleating gave the illusion of a tighter cinched waist. The draping was perfect. I'm 6'1 and wore 5 inch heels. I ordered the 16L. I liked the length. If you're shorter or wear a shorter heel it will give you more of a train feeling. This would be the perfect LBD.

This dress was everything I hoped! Comfortable! Flattering! I was so excited to put it on. I got so many compliments! I picked an 18 and a 20 because I am so neurotic about sizes but I wore the 18 and could have probably done alright in a 16 :-)

Fit was good. It was a little long for me in the back. I kept stepping on it while I was dancing.

This dress fit perfectly! I wear a 40dd and the dress fit just fine everywhere, although I would say the tightest part was the bust, but not ridiculously tight. This dress made me feel like a princess and was so awesome because it has pockets!! It allowed me to carry my phone and car keys without needing a handbag. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat!

I had no worries wants the dress came in. All the accessories looked fabulous. The quality of the dress was fabulous it was so easy to return made it very nice.

IT HAS POCKETS!!! It was like christmas discovering those. Fit was wonderful! If I could have I would have gone for a 18L (if they had non-wide sizes). I wanted it a bit more snug but not 16 snug. I got a LOT of compliments on the dress. It flowed and I felt gorgeous in it!

The fit of the dress was spot on. I am on the tall side at 6'1 and the hi-lo part really helped with not having to have an all around LONG dress. The back was plenty long and the sizing was good. I did feel a bit loose in the chest but the fit of it made up for that.

I rented this dress for a banquet, and it was perfect! I was comfortable sitting and the hi low effect was just enough to show off my shoes. The dress has slight details that you forget it's a simple black dress. I got so many compliments and it was easy to accessorize.

I wore it on Valentine's with a thin red belt, red shoes, and a tiny red bag. It was just perfect! I normally wear a 22 but was able to get into the 20 and even that had plenty of room to spare.

This dress runs large so size down. Also if you are on the shorter side the hi-lo effect will not be as obvious.

I usually wear a 16 but decided to order up a size since I had never ordered from RTR before. I was glad to have it be a little more roomier. I was afraid it was going to be too small. Got numerous compliments on this dress all night. Loved it and felt like a princess. Most importantly it was comfortable. I didn't even wear Spanks which I normally wear under dresses to formal events. Complete comfort.

Loved this dress. It runs big, but my stylist, Mariah at the Flat Iron(NYC) location added a beaded belt to fit the dress for me. Loved it. Had a great experience and will definitely do this again for my next occasion!

It was the perfect little black dress for a larger woman. It fit my curves and covered the things I wanted to hide. I felt like a queen.

This is probably one of my favorite RTR dress I've ever worn. The black satin and neckline was classic, but the hi-low hemline made it modern. It fit like a glove, the skirt had just enough volume, and it was perfect for my husband's military ball. My only con: the material wrinkled very easily. It wasn't super noticeable, but I would maybe steam it before you put it on. Overall, it was gorgeous!

This was my first rental and my backup dress (which I didn't pick out or even want). When I got it I thought it was boring compared to the dress that I originally picked for the event. I have to say it turned out better than expected and once I added a belt, it worked great!!

I originally picked a dress but the size (12) and the backup size(14) was too small. I called RTR and they were awesome in helping me find this dress online and overnighted! Since the other dresses were small we went with a 14W in this dress and I could have probably even worn a 12 and for sure a regular 14. But all dresses fit differently. Even though it was big - it was very comfortable - the whole evening! I pinned in the sides to help make a waist and it was perfect. An additional bonus that it has pockets! Also the bag it's shipped in is awesome you can pack your shoes and accessories and travel easily. I wore 3" heels and paired it with a pink wrap. I was complimented the whole evening! I will be renting from RTR again!

Loved this dress! The bust was a bit snug on me (44c), but the back up size was too large. I felt wonderful all night in it, and had so many compliments. My only complaint was that it arrived extremely wrinkled. The skirt was too long for the plastic bag, so wasn't in the "wrinkle-proof bag" I ended up having the dress steamed professionally. One other thing... I got a notification from my RTR app that said to make sure my dress was at UPS by 12 noon EST. well, that's 7am in Hawaii where I am. Not possible, UPS doesn't open until 9am. Overall a great experience. Thank you RTR!

I loved this dress. I got so many compliments while wearing it. It seems a little plain online but the cut was very flattering. I actually got it as a free back up. I normally wear a 24 but since RTR doesn't have size 24, I took a gamble and it paid off. It was a little tight right under the bust but since it's black, you couldn't really tell. It was perfect length for me. Had I been any taller or wore taller shoes, it would have been too short. This dress was very comfortable.

True to size, perfect for a formal event. I did need to take it to the dry cleaner before I could wear it! It came pretty wrinkled. Wore about 2 inch heels with it and length was perfect in the back!

The fit was good, a bit loose across my neck and there was extra fabric under my arms, for some reason, but nothing else was wrong and with a tuck and a pin, it fit perfectly. I liked the skirt a lot. I'd rent this one again.

I wore this for my work's anniversary gala. It was comfortable (yay pockets!) and elegant. Find a fabulous pair of shoes to highlight and you'll be all set.

I originally order a 16 but it was kind of tight in the bust area and the backup size was an 18. I wore the 18 because it was more comfortable. Gladly to say that I love the backup order. The dress was easy to move around it and super comfortable with pockets. I will surely use this sit again.

Great dress for those with a larger bust. I am a 40H with a hourglass figure and the 16WR fit well in the chest & masked my wide hips. It has snaps to hold your bra straps in place and the back is high enough that you can wear a regular bra. However bra did show under my right arm, so I wore a bolero jacket and still felt elegant. Would definitely rent again!

It fit well, though they didn't have my normal size so I sized up and it was a little big in the shoulders and tummy area but the bust fit well and the length was good even with low heels.

This gown was sent to me as a backup because the one I ordered became unavailable. It was large and a little frumpy--just too much fabric for the size. May have been better had it fit.

This would have been a beautiful dress, if it had fit. I knew it ran big, but never thought the 14WL would be so big on me. Every part of it was too big - bust, waist, length. Too bad.

Pretty dress but very large. For a heavier woman the poofy bottom is comfortable but makes you look large. I decided not to wear it.

This dress runs very large compared to other dresses in the same size. The material was horrendous looking and feeling. I felt like I was lost in a black trash bag. I wish had something nice to say about it. It is not flattering. It wasn't for me at least.
