I ordered this dress for my daughters wedding. Ordered 18 and 20 and wore the size 20 w/ spanks shaper and looked fabulous! I was confortable and elegant for this formal event. At the church I wore heals but afterward at the reception I wore the dress with slippers. Either way was great and still felt divine. I would definitely rent-the-runway again for next formal event!

I normally wear a 16, but they only had 16W which I ordered. It fit perfectly. I'm 5'4" and the length was great with a 3 inch heel. My bust 1s 40-D and the top was very flattering and not so low cut that I had to worry or adjust. I got lots of compliments. The dress is slimming and the ruching is very flattering to a curvy figure.

We had a Mardi Gras event to go to in August, here in Louisiana it is extremely hot in the summer so I needed something formal but not a winter dress like I usually wear to the January Mardi Gras ball. I began looking at this dress two months before the event, the color caught my eye and it looked very comfortable. I am big busted so I always try to find dress that flatter my body type and I do not care to wear strapless dress for the obvious reason. I decided this was my dress, when it came in I had just come from the gym but I couldn't wait to try it on, at first I was a little under whelmed and thought something was missing. I was hoping once my hair and make up was done it would fall in love. I showed the dress to my grandmother and she said I needed a statement piece of jewelery and she had just the necklace and bracelet. The night of the ball I was excited, with hair and makeup done I put my dress on and once again I was under whelmed. I am not a "statement piece" kind of girl but I took my grandmothers advice and put the necklace and bracelet on. She was RIGHT!!! It brought the entire look together. The 14 fit perfect, the length was perfect and I felt secure, comfortable and amazing. My husband said this was his favorite dress I have ever rented, and I loved it so much I am thinking about renting it again for a Gala in December. I would recommend this dress to anyone who is full figured but still wants to feel sexy, this dress will bring the confidence you need to walk the runway... I LOVED IT!!!!

I ordered a nother dress that was too small. They rushed me this one. It was supposed to be a 16WL, but I ended up with a 16W. No biggie, I'm 58 and worried about it being too short, but it just barely graced the ground to cover up my shoes. I really would have loved the 16WL though. It fit nicely. I wore a body slimmer for a smoother look in the back. I suggest wearing this if you have curves and want to flaunt them. It flowed well, and din't shift too much. It provided a bit of stretch as well. I wear a 38HH and there was plenty of room I suggest, getting a great bra to wear with this. I used a curvy kate bra and I loved it.

I should have probably order the 16WL because the dress was slightly big on me but also I wish it was a bit longer too, but otherwise the best dress for a wedding or formal occasion.

I just had a baby and had to attend a wedding out of town with my husband. This dress was as forgiving as it could be...

I loved the cut of this dress! The length of the Long dress was perfect for my 5'8" frame and I could wear kitten heels with it. It is definitely less purple and more blue in hue in person. I felt fabulous. :)

It runs a bit large. I usually wear 18-20 but was able to comfortably wear the 16 all night long. I stand 5' 4" and the dress just skimmed the floor. I was comfortable all night and received lots of compliments!

This was a beautiful gown. I wore it to a friend's black tie wedding. It was very comfortable and had plenty of give. It runs pretty large as I typically wear a 20 in gowns despite being a size 16. However in this dress I could have gotten away with the 16WL and I think it would have hugged my curves a bit more. However for the occasion it was fine that it was not skin tight. My only complaint was that it was short even without the heels. I am 5'10 and I ordered the long hoping that it would be long enough and even without heels on, it fell at my ankles. Ultimately, I decided to bite the bullet and wear 3 1/2 inch heels because it was all I had and I didn't have time before the wedding to exchange the dress or find new shoes. I was also able to rent a beautiful bracelet and earrings to go with it for such a cheap price and they matched perfectly with the dress. All in all I am pleased with my purchase and I would definitely rent from rent the runway again.

This is a fabulous dress but I was unable to wear it. The bottom was so tight I couldn't pull it past my hips. The quality and color were amazing. I had a backup dress that I wore instead. What is puzzling is that it's the same brand and size and it fit perfectly. I will use your company again. It is so simple and professional.

I received numerous compliments and was told that I looked regal! This dress was very comfortable and i actually didn't want to take it off when we went out for drinks after our event! This dress was sent to me overnight when my first choices did not fit and I am so glad that this is the way that it worked out! I will be renting this again!!!

I love this dress! It's romantic, flattering, comfortable, and a gorgeous color. It's a deep royal blue in person. Other reviewers have mentioned the shoulder pads, but they didn't bother me. In fact, I hardly noticed they were there at all, except for a few minutes while putting on and adjusting the dress. I'm 5'4" and wore 3" heels, and the regular length was a little long, but nothing that couldn't be handled with careful maneuvering. I wore this dress to ring in the new year, and it was perfect! I would absolutely rent this dress again! I'd love to share a photo, but the website's giving me trouble uploading photos.

Beautiful color! Beautiful dress! I received many compliments on this dress. I loved the way the bottom of the dress twirled around. Very fun!

Ran a bit large and was very long, but easy to pin up at the horizontal detail!

I was a little afraid I couldn't wear the dress, because I couldn't reach the zipper! (Plus, the size 22W was not available, so I was sent another dress, that I didn't particularly care for due to the occasion.) LOL! After some maneuvering, I got it on. I did wear a body shaper to hold in my middle section. I received numerous compliments on it. If you're in between sizes, you could still wear this and be fine.

Very comfortable, in fact too comfortable. I usually wear a size 16 dress and the 14w was really big. I could have gone down a size and still not had to "suck in!" The length was a tad long, but I attribute that to the fact that I was not "filling up" the dress because it was loose.

It is a great dress; perfect for hourglass figures. if you are taller than 5'4 i would suggest renting in the longer length. only issue i had was with the shoulder pads; they kept bunching and i was constantly fixing them. there really was no need for the pads to begin with.

The overall fit of the dress is extremely comfortable, and unlike the other reviewers, I found it fit pretty close to size. I'm 5' tall, and the length on me was perfect with 4 inch heels. I would definitely recommend a long if you're much taller and plan to wear high heels. This dress is VERY plain, so you'll really need to play up accessories if you want to stand out!

I was sent this dress as an alternate for my original order because the dress I originally ordered was returned damaged. RTR always has amazing customer service so Jessica H. came to the rescue sending my original dress in an alternate size and then this dress in my original size as a back-up. I was really excited when I saw that she had sent this dress because it was my second choice for this event. The dress itself is really pretty and super comfortable. I probably would have preferred a size smaller since I didn't even have to unzip the dress to put it on. All the ruching makes the dress really flattering and gives you the hourglass shape we all want. However, the major downfall of the dress are the shoulder pads. I have pretty broad shoulders so the last thing I need is any extra padding there. With that, I decided against wearing the dress. For reference, I am about 5"8 and I was wearing about 3 inch heels and the long was the perfect length for me.

It's a very pretty dress don't get me wrong and the color is rich and vibrant but... it has a ton of material that you would think would help hide imperfections but it doesn't. Then there's the issue with the enormous shoulder pads!! So UNFLATTERING!! Big bust and shoulder pads DO NOT MIX. Unfortunately I ordered along with another dress for another event and because it was on the same order I got stuck having to pay for this rental even though it just did not work for me. TIP: when ordering several dresses FOR DIFFERENT events do separate orders otherwise you can return ALL or NONE.

This was sent as an overnight replacement to a gown in the same size but different designer that did not fit. Unfortunately this dress didn't fit either, it was extremely large. I am large busted hourglass (38E or 38DDD) and this dress was too big all over even in the bust area. That never happens. Typically the bust is too tight and the rest of the dress is too big. With this dress it was just big all over and sort of just hung on my body. I am sure in the correct size it would be flattering.

Would not use RTR again. Although the dress arrived on time in perfect condition as promised, it wasn't nearly long enough for my 5'11'' frame. Tall ladies, beware. Even the "Long" isn't long enough.This was a waste of money for me and I ultimately ended up wearing a LBD that I already had.

I rented this for a very formal wedding. I normally wear a W20 in formal gowns, and this one fit well too. The fabric had a little give to it, and flowed well. It was a kind of deep blue/purple color, and everyone love it. I had many compliments, and felt very comfortable and special in it. The packaging that it came in was great, easy to take to our hotel, and easy to return. Their instructions are very easy to follow. It was a good experience.

The dress fit wonderfully. Covered me in all the right places. Loved the color.
