This was for a cocktail attire business dinner party. I'm apple shaped and this was the perfect dress for me. It does run large, so if you're ordering a second size, I'd go a size down. I normally wear an 18 and wore a 16. It was incredibly comfortable and got lots of compliments.

This was my first experience with RTR, so I was nervous, but in the end, couldn’t have been happier. Both sizes sent fit well, but I ended up going with the smaller of the two. I wanted a dress that covered my arms without looking like a nun & this was exactly what I had in mind! It camouflaged my midsection and was so comfortable. I got compliments all night from friends and strangers on how flattering it was. Paired with a statement necklace, this is the perfect dress.

The dress has a flattering cut. At the moment I am wearing mostly 14-16 in other clothes, this dress ran a bit larger and I am happy to say I probably could have even gone down to a 12 if it was available. The only thing I'd change about the dress is the hemline. I think it could be about 5 inches shorter. It's a great dress if you're looking for a more modest and classy/sophisticated look.

I was surprised by how much I liked this dress in person! It is super comfortable. The flowy overlay hides a multitude of things. The material is super stretchy and very soft and comfortable. It's also a thicker material, which is good for events year round! This dress is definitely one that I would recommend!

I received this dress as an emergency shipment after my initial dress didn't fit. It arrived minutes before I was due to leave for my event (phew!). It was beautiful and comfortable and was 100% appropriate for the black tie event. I got a lot of compliments despite the fact that the dress was way to big on me. I am bigger on top, so I the top of this dress was only slightly large. However, I was positively swimming in the bottom. If I had gotten one size smaller, it would have been perfect.

This dress was so beyond comfortable, as soon as I put it on I never wanted to take it off. Then, when I looked in the mirror I fell in love AGAIN! The pic does not do this dress justice. It really accentuates the positives and the quality fabric is thick with stretch that fits like a glove. The sheer "shawl" hides anything you may be a bit self-conscious about (for me, arms, bust and tummy) but doesn't completely cover it like a cloak (as it appears in the pic which was way too dark). It was so comfortable and I received so many compliments that I actually ended up changing out of my bridesmaids dress the next night and slipped this one on to dance the night away. I would rent this dress again! Highly recommend to anyone with a big bust who wants a look of elegance that is not easily achieved with a 44DDD/E.

Rented for an evening out in Las Vegas! This dress was super comfortable and the fabric had some give to allow a lot of gambling movement! The draped fabric was perfect to hide my trouble area, tummy! Will definitely rent this again. Was extremely happy that I could walk into the RTR shop to return my rentals because UPS is a little difficult to find in Vegas! Thanks RTR!

I think this dress a little on the big side, but not dramatically bigger. It was exactly what I was expecting, it was a little simple for me, so I added a necklace and super cute heels! Some how I have no full length pictures from the entire night! I will for sure be using RTR again!

I wore this dress to an autumn wedding and it was perfect. Nice neckline and hemline (fell just at the bottom of my knee). Chiffon capelet gave just enough concealment for the belly and upper arms while still looking elegant. Very comfortable and stylish without looking matronly.

This was my first time using RTR and couldn't have been more happier!! The dress looked and felt great!!! Very comfortable and covered my problem areas nicely. Received many compliments throughout the night!! I just may rent this dress again!!! #wedding

This was my first ever experience with Rent the Runway and it won't be my last. The dress was very comfortable, flattering and stylish. I received many compliments on it. One area that I wanted to camoflage was my midsection and the dress did just that. The pictures don't show the texture on the dress which is subtle and flattering as well. A bold necklace and earrings enhanced the look. Delivery of the dress went smoothly and returning was a snap.

The dress was better than expected. Everyone loved it and it was one of the most comfortable dresses I have worn. Will definitely go to this site for dresses again! Thanks "Rent the Runway".

Rented this dress for a wedding. I could have used one size smaller (I am usually between a size 14 and 16). The only size available for the time I needed was 16. It was a little big and the 14 probably would have been a better fit but the dress still looked great and because of the shear top that is attached it covered all my "problem areas".

hit below the knee (im on the short side) - which was perfect for the event I was attending.

It does run larger (I had read that but got my usual size), it was still just right.

I typically wear an 18, but went with the 16 on this dress. I loved it! So many complements. My close friends told me that I should try to buy it! The flowing top allowed me to have coverage on my arms and hide my tummy without feeling like I was wearing a blanket. Perfect little black dress!!!

Fit was perfect (didn't need the bigger size, but was glad that was an option). I added a black jacket and some gold jewelry and the look was great. Easily boxed up everything on Sunday and sent it back.

The dress flatters your natural curves and yet is extremely comfortable.

I rented this intending to wear it for a wedding. I tried it on and it was huge and somewhat matronly. I think if a smaller size had been available it would have worked. It was also slightly more formal than the event I was attending.

This was a nice dress to wear for a black tie dinner... very comfortable and loose fitting. Its a great dress to show off a pair of statement earrings or necklace. I only wished this showed a bit of cleavage, because it is somewhat matronly. But I was happy with it overall.

This was a very pretty dress but the 16 was way to big for me. I sent it back and RTR sent another dress to me overnight.

It looked great for the funeral. It ran very large!! I went a size up just to be on the safe size, and I think I would have done fine with a size smaller than I usually wear.

This fit well. It's stretchy material and very comfortable. It arrived very wrinkled, but nothing a steam shower couldn't iron out.

This really is the perfect dress. I was SO happy when it arrived. First, I hadn't realized that the material is thick, textured, and stretchy. It fit really well without feeling tight or uncomfortable, all while hiding problem spots. The chiffon overlay provided additional coverage but did not make the dress matronly at all. I hadn't noticed in the picture that the overlay goes down on a diagonal from close to the shoulder on one side to the waist on the other -- it gave it an asymmetrical, stylish look. I'm 5'4" and the dress hit me right at the knee. It was so flattering and comfortable to dance in -- I might just buy it.
