I wore this for a Roaring Twenties benefit for work (attire was "cocktail" and/or period-appropriate). Although many styles from the twenties involve plunging necklines and exposed backs, this was a work event that I was attending with colleagues and bosses, so I wanted to be a bit more covered up. However, the drop waist was perfect, and made the look so authentic for the period. I also wore the 4, even though I'm typically a 2 - the 2 fit fine, but the 4 was more of a straight-line shift look, which was more authentic. The skirt has a fair amount of stretch, and for any other event the 2 would have looked great. I styled this with elbow-length black gloves and the Dress Me Up Necklace (which was SO perfect) - as well as a faux bob. Overall, it worked really well for the event! (Sorry for the selfie... all the pics from the event were too dark to see!)

I ordered this dress for the service at my son's Bar Mitzvah. It was so perfect for the occasion. So perfectly elegant and such a well made. Love the lace and gold combination.

I wore this for an opening at the art gallery I work for. I was initially drawn to it because it is tasteful but more conservative for a professional event. The top is definitely not as gold as it shows in the promo picture, but that is okay. The dress was a little big on me, but I usually wear a 2 and ordered a 4, but it still fit. Overall, I would definitely wear it again!

Can usually wear sizes 4 or 6 depending on cut of dress. This dress was a comfortable size 4.

I loved this dress for a black tie wedding. It was very sophisticated and festive for the holiday season. The dress was a little longer than I expected. Did not hit mid thigh - hit more right above the knee. I'm almost 5 months pregnant so I went up a size. My regular dress size is a 2 so I wore the 4. It was perfect for a little bump. The mid section isn't fitted and the lining under the lace is stretchy. Highly recommend this dress!

Gorgeous lace and glimmery tweed. This would have been perfect for a fall event. Runs small in the skirt. There are POCKETS and they pull open a bit. I thought that this was distracting.

as usual, I needed a 6 on top and an 8 on bottom. def fits like a sheath dress so beware if you hve hips and thighs. I loved that it had pockets but since they were still sewn shut as when you buy something new I was afraid to use them.
