I fall between 4-6. So I ordered both. 6 fit great! Don't need a bra. No issues with this dress, loved it!

Tight on chest and the lining is short but you can't tell! Loved the detail and how comfortable it was. Got lots of compliments, felt classy yet sexy. Very unique!!! Zipper is a pain, had to have two people help me zip up because of how small the zipper is. Also had some sharp plastic pieces in the dress that stuck out and dug into skin. Overall loved it!

True to size and perfect for an outdoor wedding. The material is heavier than I expected but not an issue at all. The under slip is very short but the over layer is thick and covers everything so there is no issue.

The dress was amazing, so unique and I got so many compliments. My only complaint is there was a very hard piece sticking out of the under right armpit that I couldn't find to fix so it was annoying as hell!! All and all it was worth it though..

I've rented this twice already and will rent again. I would pay $500 to buy this if I could. So unique, comfortable, flattering, fun, tons of compliments. I've not yet gotten to try on the 4, the 6 fits well in the waist but is a little baggy in the neck area. I wore a regular black bra with no issue.

Can I tell you how many compliments I received??? Omg! This dress was so much fun! Comfortable with just the right amount of sexy and different. The only thing I would whine about would be the length. I'm 5'6" and I wore 5" heals which was great until the end of the night when my feet were barking! If you're short, I'd suggest wearing high high heals due to the front and back being long. Otherwise, it was seriously perfect!!!

I rented this dress for a sorority anniversary gala. This was actually my back up dress but ended up being way more comfortable than the one i was planning on wearing. I typically wear size 10 in all rent the run way dresses and I did for this one as well. Fit well without being too snug. The sides of the skit go high in some areas but lower in others so I didn't feel like it was too short. I find a lot of the dresses i don't need to wear a bra with but did for this one since the chest area was a little looser. I was with a boat load of women who all were wearing dresses from rtr and I got a ton of compliments. Would definitely rent this again.

The reviews are right on. Slip is short. Felt a little self conscious but it worked out well. Read the other reviews and didn't wear a bra either. The size 4 had slight zipper issue issues but was fine. Got plenty of compliments and well worth it. Sexy, different, and still a little conservative. Yay RTR!

This dress was classy, comfortable and stylish. I wore this to a wedding in June. It did run a bit large on me, but luckily still worked. I'm a pretty true 10 and an 8 would have been a better fit on me.

I am 5'0 and 126 pounds, short torso and short legs. I was nervous to try this dress because of the length but it ended up being perfect with heels. It fit comfortably all night and I have never been complimented so much at a wedding before!!!! It was so different and unique and a great update on a little black dress. Try it ladies!!!!! I wish I could just keep this dress, I've never felt more beautiful!! Trying RTR again because of this dress!

If possible, I am between straight and narrow and the athletic body type. I loved this dress, got compliments and it felt great on the dance floor. It was not hot to dance in due to the sheer over lay over the nude bodice (v neck in front and straight across in back). Loved the color of the nude under layer as well - NOT noticeable. The size 6 fit me well but was slightly large between the neck and bust area. The size 4 was too tight in the rib cage to breathe comfortably, so this dress may in fact run just a bit small. I would pick your largest two common sizes (I often wear a 2 or 4 in dresses, but I needed a 6 in this.)

I wore this to a cocktail party for work, and people were stopping me to say how much they loved the dress all night. I am typically a 4 or 6, and the 6 was not available as a backup so I went with the 4 and crossed my fingers bc I read that it ran small. I would say it definitely runs narrow through the chest. It was tight for sure but it still worked, and I was comfortable. The 6 might have allowed me to exhale a bit more, but then it might have been too big in the waist. I am 5'6", 135lbs, 34C bra. This was my first RTR experience, and I was very happy and would absolutely try it again!

I wore this for a November wedding. I absolutely loved it. Only con is that the slip is a bit short when sitting down, but you can't really tell.

Rented for a bachelorette party and I am trying to find ways to incorporate it into my everyday attire until then. Fits perfect on my body type, and the dress is extremely well made. Can wear year round, I will be renting this one again. :)

Wore this to a fundraiser. Felt great in it all night. Subtley sexy - the liner is a deep v, so quite low cut. But with the lace over it isnt immediately apparent. Boning in top made it easy to go without bra and still feel supported. Skirt flowy and comfortable. Great for dancing. Definitely recommend.

This is the kind of dress She-Ra would if she was invited to a classy cocktail party. I felt amazing at a holiday party with friends. This dress is very flattering- the nude underlayer + black overlay, waistband and asymmetrical skirt hid my "mom belly" and I felt like it made me look thin. It was short at the sides, but not too short, and I am 5'7". The zipper was a little tricky and I had to have someone zip me up.

This dress was beautiful and so comfortable. Got lots of compliments on the dress. The only thing is that the zipper is very hard to do. It takes 2 people to zip you and not because of the size.

Fit well yet odd arm cutouts. Showed my bra so decided to go without and worked fine!

It's true to size but slightly larger-fit (so if you're a 4 bordering on a 6, go for the 4). I received so many compliments and was comfortable dancing, eating, and sitting all night!

Ran a little large, but was easily pinned on the side bodice and then fit well. Fun dress, conservative and was a great option for my husband's work event. The boning on the side stuck out a little and cut into my sides slightly, but not enough to be too problematic. Great rental! Size down on your backup.

This dress was incredible!! It was very fitted in the waist and flowed to around my knees. High heels are a must. I ordered a size 4 and got a back-up size 6 to compare. I received compliments all night long, only downside is I had to return it!

I was going to dinner after to celebrate. The dress was tight, luckily I have a small chest. I am between a 4-6 and I am really glad I got the 6. It fit just right on my midsection. The fabric felt very high quality. I didn't think that the sheer layer underneath was cut that low. I wore a regular bra with the straps worn in the halter position. The bottom of the dress went down to my knees and it was very appropriate for graduation. I loved this dress, it felt very special!

Loved the fit! I'm fairly athletically built at 5'7", 130lbs, and a 32DD. Definitely took work and help to zip in, but it was perfectly fitted across the bust, didn't need a bra. There is a piece of metal boning poking through under the left arm that dug in, which sucked. Otherwise super comfortable to wear multiple hours.

I thought because of the thick(er) material, it might not fight my hips and butt but it was absolutely perfect! I loved how it showed up in a ready to wear bag and how easy it is to send right back!
