These shorts are best for someone with a small waste. I have a regular waste in comparison to my body, and even though I did go up a size, the waste was still a little snug. They also don’t really show off your butt. With all that being said, I still thought they were adorable and loved them. They looked expensive (even though like another review said, the buttons suck.)

I love the flare of the shorts and wished they looked a bit more skirt like. The high waist looked great. Though the snaps at the waist popped open frequently and it did have an unflattering bunch at the middle. Liked wearing these with high boots.

I should have gone up a size. Typically a 27, ordered a 36. They were still sooocutw but too tight to wear in public. Would honestly buy these if they were available in the next size up. Love the flare of the shorts, they've got a slight vintage look which I liked.

Good lord these are small in the waist! Going to try the next size up! I can see how folks would struggle with the pleats, they're stiffer shorts than I expected. Probably ideal for tiny waist/curvy booty gals like me, I love the A-line look! Just need to get the size right...

I normally wear size 2 or 4 but this is way too tight. It's cute. Wish the material were nicer (it looks a little wrinkly). Great for work.

I have a small waist and larger hips and thighs. I was hoping the pleating in these would be cute, but it was horrendous. I never wore it.

I sized down two sizes and they were still a little tight. I’m 130lbs 5’5 and typically where at 2.

Literally the tiniest waist imaginable.

I am 5'4 and 155 pounds and rented a size 42 and they were snug and didn't look right!! I tried on but they didn't work so ended up not wearing them.
