Stone changes color depending what you pair it with. Not too big or small & hangs at a flattering part of neck & chest.

Beautiful necklace! It looked more charcoal in color and I wasn't going wear it. But I decided to try it with my black /gold dress. It worked wonderfully! I will most definitely rent from RTR again!

The color was pretty different in person- probably the glare but it looks more white IRL Otherwise i loved it, the clasp, the look, the asymetry...

Slightly larger than expected but excellent quality. Fits comfortably on neck and the back has many length adjustments to choose from. The stone is more cobalt than black, but looks just as classy.

I got this as a last minute accessory for the Marine Corps Ball in fall 2016 and couldn't be more pleased with how great it looked! I wore the Badgley Mischka Midnight Gown and the necklace added just the right pop to the gorgeous black gown. I'd definitely recommend this for a formal event paired with a solid color gown!

My everyday style is edgy formal with some casual elements thrown in so I layered this over a basic dark gray crew t-shirt under a light knit blazer and it was the perfect amount of sophistication and edginess to give my ensemble a warm spice. As others have mentioned, the main stone color is not black but more of a muted gray with high reflectivity. This fit exactly what I was looking for and I was sad to return it; I will definitely rent it again to be part of my semi-regular rotation.

Very beautiful and unique necklace - enjoyed wearing it. A bit smaller than expected, but that worked well with my shirtdress-collar. If I had a more open neckline, it might have been too small.

Not too heavy, loved the asymmetric design. Overall a nice piece that went well with a high-neckline gown I also rented.

Very pretty and well made. The necklace does say 'ash' but the RTR photo looks black, which is what I was expecting. The color is more of a mushroom / taupe color.
