Fit very well! I’m 39, 28, 39 with a shorter torso and prominent rib cage and even though it has minimal stretch it fit well. A little snug just below my bust but not restricting for New Years. Deep V neckline but supportive and never worried about falling out. Left thigh slit comes up high without feeling too revealing. Great length for me to wear 3” heels and have the dress off the ground but not awkwardly short. There are peak a boo cut outs like the one in the front but on the sides so bigger chests might come out there

I adore this dress and was so thrilled it fit. Getting it zipped was a challenge as the fabric catches right around the waist part of the zipper, but with shapewear on underneath and LOTS of patience, my partner and I managed to get it to work. Definitely a bit of a struggle for someone with a broader back/shoulders like me, it was narrow through that part of the body and a little uncomfortable but I made it work since it was just such an awesome look. The colors are brilliant and perfect for a fall/winter formal event. Not too long either as I didn’t need heels! Only other issue was there were a few seams that seemed to be a little weird — the one holding the dress and the slip part together at the point where the dress slit is, felt and looked like it was done improperly because the dress never laid flat at that part. Not super noticeable in photos though. Overall not a perfect fit but worth it for the look!

I was skeptical of ordering this dress because of the other reviews but I’m glad I did because this is a beautiful dress and it fit me perfectly! The colors of the dress are a lot more warm toned irl than what appears on the RTR website (Macy’s has this dress for sale and their website depicts the colors more accurately, imo). The metallics were not scratchy or bothersome at all, it was super comfortable through a night of dancing and an afterparty. I got so many compliments and I felt so sexy and confident!! Would def recommend :)

I wore this dress to a black-tie wedding and got so many compliments! The length was perfect for my height and it fit really nicely. You can’t wear any sort of bra with this given the cutouts, but I’m small chested and was able to use pasties just for my own peace of mind. It didn’t move around much (great for dancing!) and probably wasn’t necessary though. I would say this is probably more of a fall/winter dress given the coloring and the subtle shine in the fabric - it would be perfect for a NYE wedding or event. Overall very flattering and would rent again.

The straps slipped a little off my shoulders but I wore my jacket most of the night. The slit was higher than I expected but not uncomfortable. Pretty shiny in person!

I couldn't tell if it was small or true to size. I am between sizes a lot, but there wasn't much give here, so if there's any question I'd size up. It's gorgeous in person-- it looks much more vibrant in person. It's sparkly and you can really see the beautiful dark and jewel toned stripes. The slit goes WAY up so sitting down it got a bit scandalous, but with the low cut you're kinda getting that anyway. I want to buy it!

I was worried I would need a size 16, but a 14 was perfect. I got sooo many compliments and it was incredibly flattering!

The fit was perfect for my hourglass body! The 10 and 12 fit but I chose the 10 because of my smaller chest. I did tie a string in the back to bring my straps together to make sure the dress didn't fall down when I sat and it gave me great cleavage. I was told all night I had the prettiest dress at the event! Pretty good for being 7 months post party

Wore this for a fancy NYE party. Lots of compliments and extremely comfortable. The shimmer material did not scratch my underarm at all. There are cut outs but I didn’t need fashion tape or anything special to keep it in place.

Wore for NYE and loved it. The slit was perfect for dancing. Fit was great but the straps aren’t adjustable. Had to pull them up a few times doing the night.

This dress was a last minute replacement but I ended up loving it! Received multiple compliments. Tried the 4 and 6, the 4 fit my rib cage a bit more snugly. The fit is really secure and comfortable. I was jumping and dancing all night without any outfit mishaps. Would rent again!

This dress fit me great! I’m small in the chest and was nervous about this gapping, but it fit really great. The cut outs are fun and sexy but I didn’t feel like I was showing too much skin. I’m 5,9 and wore ~3 in heels and the length was perfect. Highly recommend!

I was unsure of this dress at first because it was a backup when my first choice was unavailable last minute. It worked out better than I thought it would! I wore this to a formal dinner that was also a work event. I did not feel like it was too revealing for a work event. It was comfortable for sitting at dinner and dancing later.

I run wide in the hips and smaller in the chest, particularly since I am holding some postpartum belly weight right now. This dress was an absolutely wonderful fit for me! I recommend using the stick-on pasties/bra for this dress. I was so comfortable all night and the stripes of color are in this dress are so beautiful. I am fairly tall and the length of the dress with flats was perfect. My waist is 36" and hips are 47" for reference.

Got loads of compliments on the dress & it has pockets!!! If you can’t tell by the picture the stripes are silver, gold, red, purple & black. Fair warning, if your wider in the hip & thighs. The lining might cling to you and make the dress bunch a little around the slit, but it won’t change the look of the dress itself.

Wore this dress to the opera and it was perfect vibe - I have a very flat chest and it was not ideal. Any sort of bra would be visible, so it requires one to rely on boob tape, which just didn’t fill me out enough. Dress was also very long, you need very high heels to compensate. Overall a very cool dress.

I really liked this dress. It is very appropriate for a wedding. I wore the size 4 because the only real noticeable difference between the 2 and 4 was the 2 fit a bit more snug in the rib cage area. I did not love the shape that created. The top straps are not adjustable and I found them to be a little loose (both sizes fit that way). However I used a little fashion tape and sticky bra cups to hold the girls in and it was a very comfortable dress. The length is perfect and it has pockets! I recommend, for sure.

I needed a 1920s/30s themed dress last minute for a gala and this Art Deco-ish dress worked great. The red, gold, silver, purple, and black stripes meant that you had a lot of options to play with when accessorizing. Im 5’6” and this dress was a great length with my 3” heels. The thigh slit was higher than I expected (a good thing in my opinion), but this is not for you if you’re aiming for modesty. My bust was small enough for the bodice boning and straps of the dress to provide enough support. This works great for pear shapes like me.

Wore my other option. Didn’t really love this. Didn’t feel like great qualities and didn’t like the colors as much in person

True to size but not made for big boobs, there are open sides and if you are not careful you will show from the sides. If you don't mind cleavage than this is your dress. Also, the colors are interesting - more purple and gold strips which I did not expect. It has pockets too

It was pretty true to size and as someone with a smaller chest it worked really well, I think this dress would be really hard to wear for anyone with a larger chest as the top half doesn't have a lot of give

Didn’t understand the nature of the fabric from the pictures when ordering Dress is pretty and not too tight, which is great— I was using it for a particular costume look with layering as you can see. If I weren’t layering, the deep plunge and open sides would have been really hard to manage in terms of lift for the bust. It’s bold lines!

Runs a 15% big, but loved wearing this for a late November wedding

Ok This is gorgeous! I am a 34D cup 5'3 145lbs and hourglass! And this fit great! I'm usually a 6 but also got a 4 to try on. I needed the 6 to cover the under boob, and fit perfectly. Very secure with the right fit.

This fit amazing and was so cute. The cutouts make it difficult to wear a bra but silicone pasties work great. I am 5’9 and could wear heels because the slit is in a cute location. Great quality dress

Great, unique style. The top fit me perfectly, the hips fit nicely while standing but unfortunate shimmied up as I walked. I didn’t wear it because I didn’t want to be adjusting my dress all night.

The dress fit well but just felt like a lot of extra unnecessary fabric. Because of that it wasn’t very flattering.

The colors are stunning in person. I didn't end up wearing it because there was so much side boob and I would have been uncomfortable showing so much skin at a work party. Beautiful dress though.
