I’ve had Rent The Runway since 2017 or 2018, and even though I’ve loved and bought several styles, I usually don’t have time to post a picture or go beyond the basic rating of the product. The first time I saw this dress, I knew I had to try it on, but I was a little afraid, because as a woman who is 5’1 and 110 pounds, I have issues with smocks that aren’t cinched at the waist to give me a more flattering look. I was so glad to have been made wrong by an amazing fit. True, I would probably take a little in at the sides to cinch it even more, but the beauty of the dress is its structure, and the focus is the combination of fabrics, which is very artfully done, and not loud or strident like Desigual. I wore it to a business luncheon, and I can tell you that no dress I’ve worn to this specific place in the last 11 years is as striking as this one. I’m buying it. . Do yourself a favor, think outside the box, and try it on. And keep an eye out for this truly innovative designer.

Got this for work. It's not the most comfortable fabric, not flowy, no pockets, but otherwise great. Good quality construction & i like the modest length

I definitely recommend sizing up. I'm usually an 6/8 and thankful I got the 8. It was so tight on the chest that I couldn't wear a bra. But overall lightweight and flattering!

This is the 3rd time I rent this dress because it is beautiful, fits well and is versatile. It is snug in the chest so if I'm near my period, it does feel a bit tighter on top. Lots of compliments on the unique pattern

Love the design and very unique.

Striking and well cut. Fits snugly around shoulders and bust but flows over stomach and hips. Lining seems to be synthetic so it's a little bit sweaty if you get hot.

The style was a simple and modest shape. The fabric was simple and comfortable. The pattern blocking was unique. Good choice when you need modest coverage on the front.

I see this dress looks great on some people, I've seen your lovely pictures! But this one isn't for me. It looks much better in my photo than in real life. Even the husband commented, it's not a flattering look on me. I'm a consistent size 4-6 in dresses and a 32C, yet had zero room to spare up top. Snug in the arms and shoulders, restricting, and I have narrow shoulders and lean arms. It was swimming around my rib cage/waist, comfortably roomy around the hips. Didn't love the pattern in person. It photographs beautifully, but in person the pattern and cotton fabric gave me a "Little House on the Prairie" vibe.

The fit was great plus it was a lot of fun to wear with the interesting pattern and colors.

Order size larger.

Got tons of compliments and would rent again in a larger size. Or same size if I lost ten pounds.

This dress is GORGEOUS but definitely runs a bit small on top. It fit me really well but when I pulled on a jacket, the zipper popped right open. I loooooove the pattern and how it fit - would rent again! Recommend sizing up if you have shoulders/chest.

The dress is really cute, but has zero give. My arms are on the bigger side from working out, and they felt like they were suffocating in the sleeves.

Such a great print, and I got compliments at work. But the fit was a little off. It was quite fitted around the chest, so I would not have sized down. However, it was quite loose around the waist and hips and felt too much like a sack.

Cute pattern but I expected the material to be a little more substantial than just basic cotton. Also it's very small in the chest area. It fit ok in the waist and length but was super tight up top. If you have anything beyond an a cup you'd need to size up.

The material was stiff and didn't have any give to it.

The sleeves and bust were a little more snug than I would have liked, but the dress was a good fit overall.

No give anywhere so size appropriately. I'm chesty and hourglass and it still worked for me.

For fit, this is true to size in the body. The length is mid thigh. Tons of compliments! The navy zig zags create a slim allusion. The prints are lots of fun!

I rented this for the everyday but I could see someone dressing it up a bit for a summer date or a brunch or something. The dress is adorable, but consider renting a size up as it the lining runs tight at the hips, waist, AND shoulders/chest. I normally wear 0-2 with a 2 being pretty loose, and I found myself struggling to squeeze into this. Would rent again a size up tho!

I'm usually a 4 but wear a 6 when things run small. The chest, arms and shoulders were way too tight in a 4. The dress is absolutely beautiful but size up. May not work for the bustiest of women.
