Ended up not wearing this for the event I planned but just wore it to church - it’s so cute! 

Loved the design and that it was different but ran small with no give. Thick jean like material so good for slightly cooler temps. Wore to a concert.

Thought it ran a little small. Zero give. Made it work but wasn’t the most comfy or flattering

Pros: straps fit well it's snug and quite flattering on bodice, once it is on it looks fab 
Cons: side zipper was very hard to do up, took me ages and kept pinching my skin so I was scared to wear it again 

Can wear it with a jean jacket too to dress it down!

This was really cute, but after looking at the dress in photos (especially from the side), it looks like there is quite a bit extra material on the bottom part, so I should have done the 0. I would go TTS 

Other reviews were right that the proportions on this dress are tricky. The straps are so long that the bodice hits your chest in a weird spot. The fabric is a thick canvas, almost denim. I'd say the waist and chest run small especially for Ulla. All this added up to me finding that I had to treat it like a dirndl and wear a blouse under it for it to make sense. I wore it to work with a linen shirt and heels, and on the weekend with a baby tee and sandals. Both got me compliments and looked chic. Not sure I'll rent again but it was a fun piece to rotate in.

Thicker material but didn’t get too hot in the sun. Easily adjustable with the belt on the waist. Love!

Beautiful and so flattering. The only downside is that the denim fabric doesn’t have much give in the bodice- my ribs felt a little constricted when I was sitting.  I wore this out to dinner and almost regretted it, since I was worried I wouldn’t be able to enjoy sitting and eating comfortably.  Otherwise, I loved it!

Wore this to a concert in Aspen. This dress has a very thick fabric (almost denim like) which helps to give it structure. I can also put my whole life inside these pockets. The hemline scoops down in the center in both the front and back making it a tad longer than I was expecting. Love UJ and can’t wait to rent again! 

I wore this to a western themed party. The material is thick and similar to a denim and overall the fit is cute. The little belt makes it look slimming. It fits true to size. 

Lots of complements! Fitted through the bodice. Sturdy fabric that holds skirt shape. Lots of stitching detail. High quality dress. 

This has been my favorite rental so far. I could wear it for different events. A great for vacation or church dress!

Wore this for Easter and moms weekend for my sorority! If it didn’t break the bank I would buy it- so many compliments!

Very secure - easy to go braless. Really liked it - though the drop waist was controversial. 

Fits so perfectly. The material is a little heavy but still so good and such good quality. Also love the pockets! 

Tip / fit: this is a tight and thick dress, seriously don't push it if you're in between sizes, just get the bigger one 

Review: she was structured and feminine and has pockets!! But it felt like too much dress for my small frame 

I think I would have loved this dress in cotton or linen. The denim was okay. But everything else was gorgeous! TTS. The material has no give. Pockets were great and the belt was flattering. 

wore to sister’s graduation and loved everything about it. just slightly too big in the chest area due to not being able to adjust straps, but it honestly wasn’t an issue. 

The material on this dress didn’t shock me for Ulla Johnson but what did shock me was how comfortable it was despite being thicker. I loved the adjustable belt and thought it was really flattering. 

Great styling on this (pockets!) dress. The fabric is sturdy and unforgiving, with no stretch in it, but it does hold you in. The fabric has a subtle periwinkle blue in the floral, and the belt is sewn in, so don’t plan to swap it. Wore it twice!

Wore in nashville with boots and it was so cute. So many compliments. Fabric is on the heavier side so maybe not for super hot weather. 

Great Ulla dress but better for tall people. Too much fabric for a short person (5’2”). Fabric is heavy, like denim. I got a size 4 and it was tight on my 34A chest, almost couldn’t zip. Still enjoyed wearing it to a graduation, wore with a white blazer to cover my arms for the indoor ac. 

I was able to pin the straps shorter on this dress, and I’m so glad because it’s beautiful. The details of the pockets and belt are lovely, and I love that it’s a denim material which is unexpected. If I bought it, I would definitely need to alter the straps.

Definitely felt like a good quality dress! I wore it twice - once to a wedding welcome party & a private country club event. Many compliments! 

It fit like a glove, if you and any hips or booty the bottom will poof out a bit. 

Loved this dress and got so many compliments!! It was definitely tight, especially when sitting. I could have gone one size up. But it wasn’t so small that I couldn’t wear it. 

This is one of my fav rents. The material is sturdy and thick but also comfortable. The neckline was flattering and it had pockets! Didn’t want to return

Wore this to a bridal shower and got so many compliments! It’s a little tight in the boob area, but other than that fits perfect. 

Thick cotton gives this dress a fitted bodice and volume on the skirt. Didn’t end up wearing but it fit well even without a bra

The straps are not adjustable but it still worked on me being more petite. I loved the belt detail and the quality of the fabric. Felt feminine and summery!
