This dress is SPECTACULAR. I mean, literally the most wonderful thing I've ever worn, ever. I felt spectacular and amazing and just so beautiful. I rented the long because the regular wasn't available and I just figured- tall shoes. I'd rent the regular next time. I also would PROBABLY try my real size. This is because it WOULD'VE zipped in my size, and if it were a big snug around the bottom you wouldn't have noticed because of the peplum. I'm smaller on top- so I sized up and it was kind of a problem- you can see in the photo the bodice of the dress wasn't centered- that's because the darn thing kept shifting and falling because it was so big on my bust (I literally stuffed my bra with every cutlet I had which caused the boob spillage over the top). I had to use some tape to get it to not fall and expose my bra, but I didn't use enough of it. So if you're a pear with a smaller bust, like me, you might want to get your regular size and the size up as a backup. Nevertheless the dress is BRILLIANT, looks and feels fabulous, and I'd give anything to own it, it's so great.
