I wore this dress to a Mardi Gras Bal. The color is a lavender almost blue. The material is thick but since it is light in color shows every line. Shape wear is recommended and a backless bra is needed. The ruffle detail in the back is stunning. I received compliments all night. However if you are taller than 5'6 get the long.
