RTR Insider Beta Terms

Please read these terms carefully. By participating in the rtr insider beta or purchasing a membership service, you agree to be bound by these terms and all terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, do not redeem your rewards program rewards.

These RTR Insider terms (“Rewards Terms”) apply to your access to and participation in the RTR Insider program (“Rewards Program”), which is operated by Rent the Runway, Inc. or its affiliates, (collectively, “Rent the Runway", "RTR", "our", "us" or "we"). These Rewards Terms do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Rent the Runway for other products and services. In addition, these Rewards Terms complement and incorporate by reference the Rent the Runway Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the Rent the Runway Terms and Conditions and these Rewards Terms, the Rent the Runway Terms and Conditions will control.

We reserve the right to change, modify and/or eliminate the Rewards Program and/or all or any portion of these Rewards Terms or any policy pertaining to the Rewards Program at any time and in our sole discretion, including discontinuing or changing the benefits or expiration dates of “Rewards” (defined below) received under the Rewards Program, merge the Rewards Program with another rewards program, or to adjust how Rewards are earned, calculated or redeemed. It is possible that you may be unable to earn, calculate or redeem your Rewards if we discontinue the Rewards Program or merge the Rewards Program into another rewards program. If we make changes, we will post the amended Rewards Terms to RTR Insider and update the “Effective Date” above. We may also attempt to notify you in other ways. Unless we say otherwise, the amended Rewards Terms will be effective immediately and your continued participation in the Rewards Program after the amended terms are posted will confirm your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the amended Rewards Terms, do not redeem your Rewards in the Rewards Program.

Eligibility You meet the eligibility requirements found in the Rent the Runway Terms and Conditions, you have purchased a Membership Service and have not cancelled your Membership Service. The Rewards Program is intended for personal use only.

Program Description The Rewards Program is a customer loyalty program that allows participants to earn Rewards for their subscription tenure. Participants may also earn Rewards by participating in Promotional Activities (defined below) that may be offered through the Rewards Program from time to time. Joining the Rewards Program There are no additional Subscription Fees associated with the Rewards Program. If you are selected for the Beta, you have purchased a Membership Service, and you may receive a notification to enroll in the bottom tier of the Rewards Program. You can confirm your enrollment in the Rewards Program by redeeming your Program Rewards. If you do not wish to participate in the Rewards Program, do not redeem your Rewards.
You may only have one Rewards Program account, and it is nontransferable (even if you have multiple Rent the Runway accounts).

Earning Rewards Membership Tenure. The benefits that are available to you through the Rewards Program are based on the number of consecutive months you are a recurring subscriber of Membership Services (such consecutive months, “membership tenure”). If you Pause your Membership Service, you will retain access to the Rewards Program but will not continue to accrue membership tenure. If you Cancel your Membership Service, you will lose your accrued membership tenure. For example, if you paid 3 months of monthly Subscription Fees, then Paused your Membership Service for 2 months, and then resumed on your resume date, your membership tenure would be 3 months on your resume date. If you cancelled on your resume date you would lose your membership tenure.
Promotional Activities and Events. From time to time, we, or others acting with our permission, may offer active Subscribers opportunities to earn bonus Rewards, such as by inviting you to engage with Rent the Runway in promotional events or activities (e.g., sharing pictures or videos, making mobile purchases, following on social media, etc.) in exchange for Rewards (collectively, “Promotional Activities”).

Promotional Activities (and the terms of each Promotional Activity) may be communicated to you via email, via the Rewards Program page, the homepage on renttherunway.com, or any other form of communication as solely determined by Rent the Runway. Rewards for participation in Promotional Activities will be awarded as described in the applicable promotional offer and will be subject to any additional terms set forth in the promotional offer. Some Promotional Activities may limit the amount of Rewards earned per Promotional Activity. Rewards for eligible participation in Promotional Activities may take seven or more days to be added to your Account.

Types of Rewards Examples of "Rewards” you may earn based on your membership tenure are as follows: Extra Spot: An “extra spot” is redeemable for one (1) extra item in each of your shipments in your upcoming month-long membership term. Bonus Item: A “bonus item” is redeemable for one (1) extra item on your next shipment only. Exclusive Access: Exclusive access invites RTR Insiders to rent or purchase certain items before non- RTR Insider members.

Using or Redeeming Rewards You can redeem your earned Rewards by claiming them on RTR Insider. Rewards may take seven (7) or more days to be added to your Account. You must use your Rewards within 30 days of earning or they will automatically expire unless otherwise noted.
Rewards accumulated under the Rewards Program are promotional and have no cash value. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be applied to previous purchases. Your Rewards are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred (by operation of law or otherwise) or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others, or used by you for any commercial purpose. You are responsible for any taxes related to your participation in the Rewards Program.
Rent The Runway Reserves The Right Without Notice To Automatically Convert Your Rewards To A Different Reward Or Measurement; Or Convert Your Rewards To Promotional Codes At Any Time. Unused Rewards Cannot Be Reissued Or Added Back To Your Account After Expiration. Some Rewards May Not Be Combined With Other Offers Or Promotions And Will Be Subject To The Additional Terms.
Expiration
All Rent The Runway Rewards Expire One Year From The Date They Are Earned And If You Do Not Use Your Reward Before They Expire, The Earned And Expired Reward Will Be Automatically Removed From Your Account.

Returns and Rewards Refunds If you return merchandise or cancel an order that you purchased with your Rewards, you will be refunded the amount you paid (excluding the value of the Rewards). For example, if you place an order totaling $100 for one item and use a 10% off purchase price Reward, then we will refund $90 to your original method of payment. However, you will not receive a replacement Reward and Rent the Runway will not credit the redeemed Reward to your account. Note that if you purchase multiple items using a single Reward, then the value of your Reward is applied proportionality to each item, and returns of any one item will result in a refund of the amount you paid excluding the value of the proportionally applied value of the Reward.

Miscellaneous Without notice to you, Rent the Runway reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and/or your participation in the Rewards Program if Rent the Runway determines in its sole discretion that you have violated these Rewards Terms, you have more than one account, or that the use of your account or your participation in the Rewards Program is unauthorized, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. Rent the Runway may, in its sole discretion, suspend, cancel or combine accounts that appear to be duplicative. In the event that your participation in the Rewards Program is terminated, you will not be able to redeem any accumulated Rewards.
